I was a patient for years, I stayed because of the patient nurse relationships I developed with three of his RNs. I used M. Tilaks Middleburg office as my primary. I left due to the less than ethical practice as a whole that I observed with other patients & the staff that started to turn.over like flies that were obviously not there for the same reasons as myself in addition to it's billing process (obligating me to come every two weeks and billing me fifty dollars over my Florida Blue insurance deductible without asking for the money at the counter) in addition to sending me to collections for it. Tilak was raided by the Blue Cross investigators DEA & state of Florida today. Both locations have been closed. Over a decade ago he was caught triple billing Medicaid which is why they wouldn't accept it up until today when they were closed. Appharently, I wasn't the only one who was triple billed while holding Blue Cross! I can't count how many patients that I have come across that have walked out of his office with 2-4 different narcotic prescriptions despite the patients visible deterioration not only physically but mentally over short periods of time. It was like M. Tilak had no conscience about his patients well being by helping them on their road to full fledged drug addiction so he could make sure he and his family could afford his monthly if not bimonthly flights to India. Towards the end of my time with the office I was so flustered that I had only been blessed with M. Tilak's presence twice in four years and every time I tried to contact him, he was convienently and literally out of the country.

My name is Patricia Lyons & I want to tell my amazing experience. A few years ago I begin to experience pain & severe stiffness throughout my body. After ignoring it for over a year I decided to mention it to my then husband who encouraged me to finally mention it to my primary care physician. I was then referred to a specialist after testing. For some reason I just felt uncomfortable with the first & 2nd referral. Maybe because I felt I was so young to have these issues & didn't want to believe it although it runs deep in my family. I then decided to find my own specialist. Turns out to be the same diagnosis but this time I felt more comfortable. I felt more comfortable that Dr. Tilak knew exactly what he was talking about. He didn't just diagnoses me & give me a script. Dr. Tilak explained the x-ray & how I could benefit not only from the injections but different light duty work outs that helped. Within a few months, the pain & stiffness was much better. In the process not only did I slowly regain my life back but I also lost tons of weight in the process. Thanks Dr. Tilak!!!

I have been going to this practice for 11 years. Dr. Mel is not only my primary caregiver, but also saved my life by starting me on suboxone when I was addicted and had been for over 10 years, and been through rehab 3 times with no success. I still come to this practice because of the high level of care, communication and the staff is so friendly. I don't have the words to begin to thank Dr. Mel for assisting me in turning my life around and being the biggest part of my recovery.

The office just feels sketchy walking in. On top they make me wait a lot and either they mixed up my test results or mess up because I showed positive for things I know I don't do. Then they charged me more than double for the lab work than they said it would cost without insurance. I'm pretty sure this is a place where druggies go to get their pills and not actual medical care.

Best Dr I ever Had. He actually cares about the Person and not the money. I Started seeing Doc in 2016 and hope I never have to find another Dr. They treat me like Family and are Always ready to listen and help out. My Girlfriend was really struggling with her breathing and blood pressure but had no insurance but Dr saw her anyway. Great and Compassionate Man.

I cant say enough about the care and follow up I've received from this practice. From urgent medical needs or ongoing care, the staff at this practice has always taken excellent care of me and treated me with kindness and respect.

As long as u work with them the work with u tilak is great an Na are great but only thing I kinda dnt lik is the change of anrp 4 in the 2 years
