Food is terrible, service is good and mostly friendly. There is one guy there that is not friendly at all ..he needs to go and is the reason for the 1 star. I have been giving this place chances over and over again throughout my 7 years of living in the neighborhood and it always disappoints. My family and my neighbors all say the same thing We wish this place would either be bought up and renewed with new ownership or fold in a new pub and restaurant goes in there. This place continuously disappoints. By the way this place charges a 3% fee if you pay by credit card or debit card. When I asked about it I was told that this is the way restaurants are trending. I'm sorry to inform you but that is not true and if a restaurant charges an additional fee then what I am charged for my food and makes a mandatory tip I am a no-go 100%. I will never frequent those types of restaurants or bars.

Been coming here for years. Upbeat atmosphere. Amazing karaoke singers when they host it. Live music sometimes. I come here on Fridays for the fish and chips. So good. Pool and darts in the back if you like a bit more low key, but the whole place is laid back. The most comfortable patio chairs of all time, by the way. Beer and food prices are very reasonable, even for imported beer. Update: 9.16.23 Learned that ownership has recently changed. They are repainting a couple of the walls, and added some white tables. The menu prices have gone up a couple of dollars per item. Haven't re-tried all the food items for changes, but we had fries, chili, and onion rings which were all okay. The atmosphere is nicer than it was previously.

I love this place!! Whenever I'm meeting with friends, business associates, and family, We ALWAYS meet AT AZOOL'S GRILL! The customer service is 100% awesome. Their food is AMAZING, and the alcohol is on point. Plus outdoor dining with water misters and sun shades. Live Entertainment. Plus so much more, but my absolute favorite thing about AZOOL'S, is the Joke Quotes of the day on the sign in front. PRICELESS! I will include some of my photos of them too. Hope people go check this place out. They have been here a long time. Though, We all know what one day can do to change all of that now! So show support, go to your favorite local spots, like AZOOL GRILL, and check out new ones if your looking for fun!!

Zero seasoning was use on our dishes lol Honestly not even salt on our fries Cute atmosphere sweet staff but the food was I had veggie burger not bad sweet potato fries were done well ‍♀️ but no seasoning (=flavor) One of the two in my party had fish n chips he hated it commented on the lack of flavor The latter of our party was extremely disappointed with his ribeye again no flavor and the cheese garlic bread was yuk we couldn’t finish it However with that said my margarita was on point and the staff was Won’t be back unless it’s for a margarita baby Oh and the whole place only had 2 bar/wait staff and the cook only 3 staff .. . . . Poor staff is over worked

If a zero (0) rating was available this restaurant definitely deserves it. My friend and I decided this would be a nice place to have a relaxing lunch. Never happened. I asked the waitress if she wanted my entertainment coupon now or later. Her response was "We don't take coupons". I then pulled up the 25% off coupon on my phone. Showed her the discount and was told she needs to call her manager. Waitess comes back and was told to tell us that the coupon is fraud and they never signed up with Entertainment. We left. Had a great lunch at Danny's. I hope they know they lost 2 customers over what would have amounted to under $10. No future revenue from us or our friends and followers.

If you sit outside depending on the waitress don't expect prompt service. Had to go inside twice to try and get a waitress. Waited 45 minutes for a Cobb salad. It wasn't that busy. Waitress came outside twice looked at us turned around and went back inside after helping the table next to us. So in order to get service I had to go to 2 different waitresses inside. The older blonde who came on at shift change was super nice. She didn't wait on us but I've had her wait on me before she is super nice and courtiouse

Came here after seeing the Veterans Day thing in Anthem (which was awesome) really cool place! Clearly a lot of locals (to the far north valley)...so felt a bit alienated...really love the vibe! Reminds me of some places in my hometown in S. CA....food was okay, but great for what this place is....would've liked to have been offered a big frosty mug for my beer instead of a pint glass that was not "beer ready".....definitely be back! Cool place to hang......little hiccups are easily rectified!

Never going back! We had been going to Azool’s for years. Neighborhood pub for when we don’t feel like cooking. It now has new owners and customer service is horrible! Ordered the prime rib special neither of us could eat it. Even smelled bad! Like some grizzly old pot roast with a bag of preserved seasoning. Told waitress who told owners who did nothing. Paid $75 for 2 sodas. Even spoke to new owners on our way out, they obviously didn’t care.

Few years I haven't eaten at azul's for a few years. On my way home I stop for dinner. I ordered the meatloaf it was absolutely the worst meatloaf I ever had I was very hungry but could not finish my dinner. I told the waitress it was obvious she could see I had not eaten much of my food. I would not recommend eating at azools. They had live music I usually enjoy live music it was so loud you could not hear yourself think. It was not conducive to a nice relaxing dinner. It definitely has turned into more of a bar than a restaurant. Too bad cuz years ago it was good.

This is a great neighborhood bar. We've been going here off and on for years. Always a familiar face to welcome you in. There's always friendly service, great food that's not "bar food", and a bunch of good beers on tap.

My wife and I visited Azool Grill for the first time (definitely not the last) last night. The only thing I was dissapointed about was the fact that I didn't find this place sooner! Great vibe, impressive food quality and menu options and a fantastic, attentive and very friendly staff made our night an awesome one. Groovy Live Music as well as sports on multiple flat screens, billiards, darts and games tucked in the back... this place is a gem in an area of otherwise lack luster and limited bars and restaurants. Highly recommended, we will be back.

The food is good and the service is good. I would have given 5 stars, but to my surprise there is a 3% fee if you pay buy credit card. I was told debit or credit is charged this fee. In addition, the server stated that restaurants are trending in this direction. It would have been nice to know this policy before ordering our meal. So for this restaurant I have two choices bring cash or find another establishment that doesn't have this policy.

Wow! We had an awesome dinner there a few nights ago. We ordered the sautéed shrimp appetizer not sure the name? DELICIOUS, it had 9 Large Shrimp in a Sauce that is to die for! They serve it with bread so you can dip it! But that was not the Peace de Resistance!! My Son had the Filet Medium Rar and the Chef killed it! It was unbelievably good! Not only cooked to perfection but with the sauce and flavor it was truly Spectacular!! Our Service was impeccable and just can't express how good it was! I tried!!

Just drove 7 hours was very hungry only to be served burnt food that tasted really bad and overcooked we did not finish it we tried to eat just the potatoes in the inside of the meatloaf that was horrifying. Not to mention they had music playing so loud we could not even speak her ears hurt afterwards. When we showed the waitress how bad it was burnt they didn't even offer us a discount. She saw we didn't eat the food hardly and brought us the bill. She said she would talk to the Cook big deal

From the reviews I was a little nervous. However after meeting Mary the owner and enjoying a good meal with my wife all I can say is this place is a must try. The grilled chicken sandwich was the best I have found in this area thus far. The fish and chips my wife had was awesome also (try it with the vinegar) I was shocked how good it was. The open mic was nice had a good singer playing some good music. Too much to list from darts to pool lots of things to do if your not just there to eat.

I was in from another state about a month ago, and visiting a close friend. He had been to Azool once and said it was good, so we decided to check it out. Had the wings, which were phenomenal. The barkeep there (think his name is Brad) was attentive and sure knew how to pour a slamming Bacardi and Coke. Happened to meet the new owners on the way out. Super nice people. I will be back soon.

Last time I came here was on a Thursday for TNF. They seemed to be understaffed and my food came cold. I didn't complain, I was hungry. I NEEDED food. However, they make up in hospitality and bringing a Cheers type vibe to the place. I'm really happy with my experience, minus the cold food. This was the first time I was ever given cold food though. I have been there 20+ times so they're bound to mess up from time to time.

The staff here is Amazing! I asked them (last minute) "Can I come in with large group Friday" and they said.... come on in we got you covered....and they absolutely did. Great relaxed pace to enjoy some food and drinks. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. Even under pressure, they just got it done. Thank you so much for hosting us....I'll absolutely be back!!!

Wait staff was cheerful and timely. The club sandwich was very blah. The bacon, turkey and TWO pieces of toasted bread were just average. They presented as cut into two triangles, not the typical four pieces, likely because the sandwich was smaller than usual. Pass on this menu option, and keep looking for somewhere to eat.

They have a nice large covered, outdoor dining patio. Big comfy chairs & table with plenty of room for food & drinks. Inside has a large bar in middle of the dining area. Lots of big windows on 3 sides, happy hour specials, daily dinner & lunch specials. The food is good, servers are fast & attentive. Easy to find, with plenty of parking right in front.

The staff is amazing. They are always happy, respectful and nice. The food is awesome. I have never been disappointed. There is always something going on at night from games to karaoke to live music. The best place to kick back and relax and let the rest of the world just melt away because you are with good people, good staff and good food.

My friend had the Philly cheese steak. He said it was delicious, the steak had a great flavor, it was actually nicely done *steak*. I had the hamburger, probably one of the best hamburgers I've had in a while. Medium well. Juicy. Cheddar... bacon. Put me in a happy place :-) if you're looking for a good burger this was a great spot for us.

The only thing bad about this place is that they don't have fried zucchini on the menu as an appetizer. This was my second time here and the place is very chill. The atmosphere is layed back, the staff is great and when we do try the food, I'll let you know on that. Give this corner neighborhood bar a try, you won't be disappointed.

Came in today, sat at a high top across from the register. Waited for at least 5 minutes without having been greeted. A couple came in, sat right next to us. This is a local hangout. I give it 5 stars for the people. The food is a cut above typical sports bars with homemade soups, and a Southwest blackened chicken salad that my husband gets there all the time. The fish and chips is tempura style with steak fries and coleslaw. Also excellent.

This place is great(for a Vikings bar...lol) but seriously great bar great staff. Jake the bartender remembered my name after a decade of my absence. Awesome food, great place for football Sunday, O.T.B, bar games, live music, friendly faces, always clean, pull up a stool at AZOOL'S!

Our first and likely last visit here. Mediocre service; mediocre food. Brought a turkey burger by mistake instead of a veggie burger. To a vegetarian this is a big deal, but I didn't make a huge deal of it. Maybe I should have, as they did nothing at all to make up for it.

Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly bartenders. Nice patio seating. Roomy inside as well. Added another star to my review because this is exactly what a local bar and grill should be. Came in on a Tuesday to watch a basketball game and was treated like a local celebrity.

The bartender looked as tho she needed help. Of the many tables we had to choose from,she put our food plates on the "chaulk,table brush table" then never came back. We were sitting at an empty, clean table already. Probably just overwhelmed by customers and by herself.

Great place to watch a game and get a bite to eat. We watched the Vikings game here and had the meatloaf with a sweet potato stuffed poblano on the side! Delicious and filling to say the least. Friendly great service and a fun sports theme with a dog friendly patio.

Lots of people around the bar at 2:30 pm on a Saturday. Decent patio. Delicious salads and margaritas.

Just wasn't for me... Cowboys everywhere... the food was not good. I suspect it's a great spot if you live in the neighborhood and want a place to meet friends. If you are alone forget it. I didn't finish my food, had it wrapped up and went somewhere else to eat.

Always a great spot to get a drink and an amazing meal. Scenery isn't too bad either.

They have a great menu, lots of things I like. Everything has been good so far. Their soup of the day is kinda small. I really like their sweet potato stuffed poblanos pepper in place of fries. Small price to substitute it, but it's worth it.

The food was really good and huge portions. Super awesome service. Their onion rings are the bomb. We will be back. Chillie's lost our busness to Aziil Grill from hear on. My hubby wanted to try this place for fathers day and i'm glad we did.

Jake and Mary are the best. Fast, fun, attentive, sociable, expedient, and just good people. Laid back atmosphere with good entertainment on the weekends. Always a great crowd of regulars mixed with new comers.

A fun local bar/grill with fun events that go on from time to time. They have great food and a wonderful atmosphere, especially during the colder months where everybody can sit outside. Wonderful staff as well.

Great Time! I have eaten in many bar/grill and RARELY is the food this good. Jerk Chicken Salad is Great. Chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. Service was excellent and the live music was a plus.

Great alternative to Chili's. They are usually not full. Their good is decent and they have lots of room. If you are looking for a place to watch a game, this is the place. Their servers are really nice.

Azool Grill is absolutely awesome! Amazing food and service. Patrons are always happy and they have great bar games. Darts, pool, and corn hole. Special nights (Week end) they do trivia and karaoke.

Drinks and service were good. Food was below average. If you are not a regular, you will be treated as a 2nd class citizen. Plenty of other places to spend money and be treated like everyone else.

Loved the wide variety of exceptional wait staff were as amazing as the Food We frequent about twice a week any day we go it's special relaxing and fun!

Big spot, lots of seating indoors and out. 2 pool tables, darts, Golden Tee, TVs everywhere. Good food. Fantastic staff, very friendly and welcoming.

Got dinner tonight for me and my wife. The best steak she has had in a long time. I had the pasta was very good. Take out only but well worth it.

Not necessary their fault, perhaps ignorance, but I can't frequent this place that heavily supports Bud Light and Anhauser Busch. Won't be back!

People Get Alchohol Poisoning everytime they go here. Maybe a dirty glass. Maybe expired alchohol like moonshine. Do not go here for any drinks.

Sliders were really good. Service was quick. Place needs a little money put into it. Chairs are rickety and sparce as well as the tables.
