It seems that it is time for individuals to consider visiting smaller clinics instead of these profit-oriented hospitals. This is based on my personal experience with the ENT department of this hospital. I had been suffering from a cough and cold for a week, which eventually caused slight pain in my throat and extended to my ear. On a Saturday morning, when no doctor was available at the nearby clinic, I had no choice but to visit this hospital. Since it was my first visit, I had to pay a registration fee of 150 rupees. After that, I proceeded to the outpatient department (OPD) and paid a consultation fee of 700 rupees. I waited for 30 minutes and finally had the opportunity to meet the doctor. Unfortunately, the doctor did not conduct a thorough examination and immediately suggested an endoscopy. I was taken aback, so I questioned the doctor about the necessity of the procedure. I explained that I had experienced similar cold symptoms in the past, and the doctor at my nearby clinic had successfully treated me with medication. However, the doctor insisted on the endoscopy and refused to proceed without it. I left the room feeling shocked. When I went to the reception, they asked me to pay 2000 rupees for the endoscopy. It became apparent to me that this hospital was primarily focused on making money and showed little concern for the well-being of its patients. I promptly decided to leave and instead purchased the same medicine that had been prescribed by my nearby clinic doctor a year before. Within two days of using the medicine, I experienced recovery. It is disheartening to witness hospitals that operate solely to deceive people and exploit them under the guise of providing medical treatment.

Updated Review I am updating the ratings to 4 stars, as the problem was mainly with the Food, Cafeteria and ambience (specifically in Semiprivate rooms) One thing which I have high regards in BGS Gleneagles is for the Staff:-Doctors, Nurses, Helpers , they are awesome, they are there round the clock. any niggles that you have they will call the Dr get a solution for you. The admission was seamless one person whom I want to call out is mrs Naveena, even before i stepped into the hospital she collected all my documents diligently and got pre-approval from my insurance. that was above my expectation. To Samreen , head customer care, Thanks for bearing all my rants, and taking my feedback so positively, I usually see that the staff becomes ultra defensive for any feedback(negative), but you handled things very well ! My request to you is to find a better treatment center, the ambience, cot , bed, cafeteria, food , bathroom .. is as bad.or par with only govt hospital. Recently I had visited the hospital for the lower back pain after visiting many other hospitals and not finding any permanent solution for that... I was having hip pain and a severe compression in sciatica nerve and was not able to bend forward even for 10degrees.. Dr. Naveen suggested the physio there and i get it done my physiotherapy with Dr Muthuraj. The result was just like a miracle and i was able to bend without any support at the end of Forth day which I was not able to do it from past 3-4 months. A big thanks to the physiotherapy department and my physiotherapist Dr Muthuraj for the positive encouragement and identifying the exact pain part and giving the proper treatment.. I would definitely recommend the physiotherapy department for anyone who want to get the physiotherapy done. It's definitely worth to visit.

Doctors are very Very good, Regarding Doctors, they are well qualified, well educated, well experienced Doctors. Surely there is no complaint regarding Doctors, we will see the God in this Hospital Doctors. But the problem starts from Transport, House Keeping & NURSING. I visited BGS hospital to get treated for my shoulder fracture. Consulted with Dr. Basavaraj who assured me that I'm alright and all I need is some physiotherapy. I met Dr. Babu and team at the physiotherapy department and Dr. Muthu Raj started treating me. After about 7-8 sessions of physio, my pain level has come down, my mobility and strength has improved. Dr. Muthu assessed my condition well, helped me manage my pain and gave clear instructions for home exercise. Overall I'm very happy with my progress and I'll continue to get treated by Dr. Muthu until I recover fully. Thanks to Dr. Basavaraj, Dr. Babu and team and Dr. Muthu Raj.

Two days back I got admitted with BGS Kengeri for gastroenterology (piles problem found) under the supervision of Dr.Adarsh & team of experts. Experience with the ortho doctor(Basavaraj sir) was good. Apart from the doctor, hospital needs to improve a lot. The hospital fee is very high compared to the other good hospitals, nurse care could’ve been better. They charge high and literally charge on everything starting with the parking( I wasn’t charged in other hospitals). MRI/CT scan are not given to the patient to record but are given in CD’s. Laptops don’t even come with CD drives these days. They need to at-least copy it to the pendrives (they’re charging extra for cd apart from the CT scan pricing).

I came to Bangalore for my mother’s cancer treatment. Dr. Monica and the staff at the oncology department were extremely caring and helpful to us. She had explained my mother’s situation and immediately started the treatment. Within just a week, multiple tests and surgery had been done. She was discharged just 2 days after surgery. It could not have been possible if not for the care we got from the nurses. A very special thanks to the staff at the international patient office for helping us throughout the process.

Doctors are very good but we had an worst experience at Pharmacy. Every tine if we go there we will be ended ip with one or 2 medicines with no stock. And the the pharmacy people they have the worst attitude towards patients. Seems they are very much happy to make the patients to wait even they are free. Recent experience, i was waiting in pharmacy for a medicine and that guys just went out side and dint come back for a long time, i dint understood what made him to go out even customers are waiting for medicines.

Worst hospital, full of scamming people. They charge fortune for the treatments. It's not worth going to that hospital. There are far better hospitals in Bangalore. They always try to make a huge bills and make u pay it. Their charges are 10 times more than other hospitals. I should say they have good doctors but the hospital management and finance department are the worst and horrible people on earth. Please if you want nice treatment there are far better and reasonable hospitals in Bangalore.

Worst blood test laboratory I have seen. In the beginning they said that reports will come in 2hrs. Then 3hrs. That extend by 30min+20min+20min etc totally wasted full day by just sitting. They could have informed exact time in the beginning so that we do our work. Answer is always processing.
