I give 5 minus 2 stars for 2 points of grievance after considering the fact that my cars ignition is working albeit at the expense of security. What happened was my ignition stopped working on Florida road while on work duty as a Mr D delivery driver. He was really cheap in comparison and with some Q20 and much fiddling and hanging wires he got the key turning so I could get back to work and only charged me R350 for the callout. Which I was grateful for. Then for R800 he repaired my ignition a few days later by removing all but a single lock pin and so while I can say my cars ignition will turn, it'll probably turn too with a heavy screwdriver. My 2 subtracted stars are for 1: the fact that he made me wait 4 hours doing some intricate lock repair work like some master locksmith MacGyver and the second subtracted star is because he told me that he did a good job and will charge me full price next time while simultaneously admitting that he did in fact remove all but one lock pin for four hours and R800. He will get your car moving and working that's for sure and for a cheaper price but just take what he tells you with a grain of salt. I slightly recommended this auto locksmith. Edit: Yes there is something I want to discuss. Since you said it'll cost me 900 rand to get a spare key cut, and since there are 8 pins and you removed 7 of them. Can you quote me a price for about R120 on that spare key. Thanks.

Great service all-round from Billy Locksmith. I called him on Sunday afternoon, they were closed. He answered politely. We asked him about a key that needed to be cut which we 1st needed to go pick up, based on our description he knew what key we were trying to describe to him. He was very patient and understanding. I had a key that had broken into my security gate lock. I contacted Billy and he came out the next day to replace it. His service was professional and efficient, and took him all of 7 min to complete the job! Wasted so many trips to obtain new Land Rover key tops.... As it turned their supply is from a pirate source and after much ado, the ones supplied did not work out..... Many false promises from owner and was left hanging.... Not the way to promote your business!
