We brought our 96 Plymouth Voyager mini van to BLC to diagnose a blower issue about 1.5 weeks ago. They called me that evening to say the blower motor was bad. The price was $350. This was to cover all parts and labor. They called the next day to say the the van was ready. I arrived and asked them to show me the repairs. The van was started, and the AC was turned on. The blower did work, but just like I brought it in to them. That is, it did run on hi, but had issues with the lower speeds. Another words, they fixed something that wasn't broke, namely the blower motor. I said then that I wasn't going to pay for a motor that wasn't needed, nor the associated labor. I told their tech Chris that, and to try finding the real issue this time. He asked me what I expected them to do with a used electrical part? I said that wasn't my problem since I didn't misdiagnose the issue in the first place. Chris agreed to try finding the actual problem, and was to call me with the results. They called me the next day, saying it was a resistor, and a bad wiring harness. (this is a very common repair), These same repairs were quoted at Firestone for $135.00, for both parts and labor. The BLC office manager said the repair bill was now $450.00, and no new blower motor, since I asked that my old one be reinstalled, which they said they did. So, a simple repair ballooned from an industry standard of $135, to $450, They did replace a very short piece of wiring harness, about 5 inches, and the resistor, a $15 part, and supposedly reinstalled my old blower motor. So now, we have a cheap resistor installed, a dinky piece of wiring, and my old blower motor, all for $425! WOW, what a deal! I contacted the owner Mark, and he agreed to review the repairs and the bill. After a short discussion, He gave us a "discount" of $25 off the total bill, saying this was justified considering all the work that was done. We are long time customers of this garage, and were frankly very surprised at this turn of events. We of course are not happy with this giant bill, for such an easy repair, especially since we are senior citizens on a low income. We don't feel this can be resolved, esp after talking to the owner. We had to pay it of course, to get our van back. They changed they're story several times about the actual issue and repairs, and we feel, in the end, charged us for their mistakes due to the tech's original misdiagnosis, and wanted to recoup their labor costs. We no longer feel they are honest, or competent, but are just interested in gouging the most from they're customers, even if it means losing them, as long as Mark gets the most money out of you now. That's called throwing the baby out with the bath water Mark. I fully expect him to get on here and deny this, saying he did a good job at a fair price, but we ran this by another mechanic. Nah! Iv'e done 3 of these repairs myself, but can no longer due to my age. Maybe they thought they could screw over an old man and his wife. Wait, they did! Give me back $225 dollars Mark, and I'll call us done. Otherwise I keep telling people what you are now. I see the other unresolved BBB complaints against you, so I expect mine will be ignored like the others. Good record you have going. Iv'e already told my experience to my family and friends. People talk Mark. Not good for you.

I have NEVER encountered a repair shop so unprofessional they are either incompetent or a hack job not deserving of even one star. Trying them out I brought in my older model Lexus just to modify the exhaust and find a power drain simple right you would think for even the average mechanic they told me it would take a week...right two and a half months is what it took talking about slow, the mechanic assigned to your car is on vacation oh we are working on it now one excuse after the other they supposedly found other problems to they changed the oil pan gasket which wasn’t leaking and now is ridiculously leaking the sealant looks like a child finger painted it on I so wish I could show images, my side mirrors came back loose blowing in the wind they took them apart and shaved the clip that holds the spring in place, my driver door would no longer open they detached and cut the clip for the handle, I had to return it to them five different times because their idea of fixing my power drain was to unplug my dome lights, remove fuses for speedometer, and interior power and still it was not repaired I was charged each time they came to tow my vehicle back in for their incompetence which wasn’t in anyway legal one of their employees would show up and drive it away. My tan carpet was caked with dirt my doors look like they were submerged in water, they kept my optima battery and replaced it with a cheap battery I took it to another shop and they said WOW!!! Never had they seen anything like what they refer to as repair they should let you show their work it’s a joke it speaks volumes of what they are capable of automotive is not it everyone LISTEN reviews are a cheat sheet to give you an idea of what to expect from a company’s service blc is BOTH a waste of your time and money respect your car love it and it will take care of you blc will not provide either love nor respect for your vehicle spend your money wisely take it to a repair shop because they are not it. If any one has a complaint contact me I want to get a group together these shop doesn’t need to exist their thieves and it’s time to stop thank you

My daughter took her car into BLC automotive to have the alternator replaced. She had the battery replaced and the alternator tested a few days before and was told that the alternator was "bad".  BLC charged her $386 for the part and labor. Ten days later her car would not start. We took the battery to autozone who told us that the brand new battery was only 36% charged. We left the battery with autozone to be charged. We get the battery back and the car starts. We go back to autozone and have the alternator tested again and it has a "bad" reading. My daughter took the car to another shop to  get another opinion. Again she was told the alternator is bad and needed to be replaced. I called BLC and spoke with the female who answered the phone. She was very rude and told me if we bought the car back to have the alternator checked that it would cost my daughter another $95 because they did not diagnose the car before they replaced the alternator because they replaced the alternator per the customer's request. The next day it stopped working again. We had the car towed to another shop where the BLC alternator tested bad again. We purchased an alternator from Advance Auto and had it put in by this shop. When we got the BLC alternator back we took it to Advance auto. The machine it was tested in gave a "FAILED" reading. BLC are thieves and do bad business. Taking advantage of a young  college student who's doing her best to be successful by working and going to school and it is imperative that she has a safe working vehicle. I didn't want to believe that a business would do this to anyone that is why we had the alternator tested many times. They should be shut down, never to do this to anyone again.

If I could give them a 0, I would. This place overcharged us to replace my brakelines, then rerouted them incorrectly, resulting in one of the lines severing in half from rubbing the inner part of the wheel and I almost died when my brakes went completely out while stopping at the red light on a busy intersection. They refused to acknowledge this, damaged my ignition coil while working on my lines, charging us more for another aftermarket one, resulting in damage to my engine, and finally tried to overcharge us for a blown head gasket and lied to us saying that was the problem that occurred AFTER they worked on my car for the brakes. The owner told us that a former employee burned the former shop down but I feel it was most likely a former customer that they completely took advantage of and the icing on the cake was that their customer service was horrible, trying to take advantage of my mother because they assumed women did not understand cars and lied to us about a head gasket when the problem that THEY caused and THEY refused to correct at no cost nor did they give a proper refund when the ignition coil pack was damaged under their care and a spark plug was loose on two coils, resulting in the loss of oil and leaks on my engine that they said it was a gasket and then tried getting us to pay $400 more for a $50 can of Blue Devil that takes under 30 minutes of low effort labor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE as I almost died from their lack of experience and their lies.

I thought at first I was getting a good deal to fix my ignition coil which they said was the cause of my engine misfiring. $245 was the price I paid to get it fixed. I got my car back and in less than 24 hours I was having the same issue that I originally brought my car there to fix. I brought it back and kindly explained to them my car is still in the same condition and they said leave it here we will take care of it. The next day I get a call saying a different ignition coil is the issue and it needs to be replaced and eventually the rest of them would need to be replaced. It would cost $380 to replace the other 3 they told me. So I kindly said thank you and that I would come back to pick up my car. I picked up my car and took it to get a diagnostic ran and a second opinion only to find out that the ignition coils were fine and that the issue was causing the misfire were my spark plugs and they would replace all 4 for $130 dollars! So not only was I misdiagnosed by BLC also I was taken for $245 and then almost charged $380 to fix something that wasn't even broke!!! I was very disappointed in BLC Complete Automotive Repairs and could not believe they were going to really charge me over $500 to fix the wrong problem! Always get a second opinion before you pay anyone your hard earned money.

I give 2 stars because we have had many cars fixed here and out of desperation paid so much money thousands over and over again. If you want your car towed that’s 30-60 plus dollars . Just for them to look at it is $80 no matter what labor about 200-300 per fix . What blew my mind was that the cost was going to be almost 1000 $ for a coil, censor and spark plugs. Do the math people. Buying yourself is only 3-8 dollars a plug , 30 for a coil and so on . Nothing should be over 300-400 dollars with Labor unless you have big parts. Now to get that price you can buy your own parts then they will use that and still charge 400 for labor smh. Never again. Firestone across the road cost us 400 for 6 plugs , engine coil and censor . They are name brand known and cheaper . We know it’s tax season but you don’t need to rip people out the A with these absurd prices . There never seems to be a cheap anything here. And you will wait most times for a day or 2 before You get your vehicle back Desperate measures Only for this place , while you spend this much money and will return in a week .

Was charged 100.00 for no diagnosis... then told it would be another 250.00 to give a diagnosis of problem but could need a new motor to the tune of 6 to 7 thousand. When I said I needed time to think about it I was told to get it off property today. I towed the car in and out of BLC so as not to do further damage and it was running, driving, cranking. Got a friend over to look at it and it won't crank now. Tow truck driver can attest to all of the above. Called to discuss with them and was told the owner would call me. Still haven't heard from them. All they kept saying is your oil is black and slightly low. Had just put synthetic oil in the vehicle (still have the receipt). I wasn't told about any of these charges when I first brought it in.

Checked out other Google reviews and decided to give BLC a try. Brought husband's car in for a balance and rotation and alignment. Come to find out both front wheel bearings needed to be done which was causing the horrid shaking/knocking sound as speed increased. They basically gave me an overall inspection (per my request) and very clearly discussed what they found before doing any work including the prices. Hubs made the choice to only get the most urgent thing taken care of by someone else (price just marginally less). However, I was very happy with the service I received and will definitely take my car back for work that's needed. I'm giving 4 star because we didn't actually have any work completed.

I just last week got my car back after they replaced the engine. I have had so many issues in the past with shops not fixing the problem and trying to tell you something else is wrong . This shop is not like that. They did a really good job and my 2015 chevy cruze runs like a brand new car. They kept me informed with everything that was going on and most off all they fixed exactly what they were supposed to and they have it puuuuring like a baby kitten...You can't even tell the car is on and running its so quiet ..Thank you.They even have me coming back soon for a check-in to double check everything and make sure it is all good still.So far perfect...Thank you BLC...

BLC has replaced an engine in one if my vehicles, a transmission in another and beat the price of any other place around! Friendly honest staff, Brandy has always been great at getting me fast accurate cost estimates and keeping me updated on the status of my vehicles repairs! The technicians have consistently delivered quality repair work in a very reasonable timeframe and they never try to "upsell" items, service, or repairs that you don't need! I take all 4 of my vehicles there and will continue to do so!

Good repair job after my truck was vandalized, replaced the broken window with a good quality one and no problems with the mechanism, however they could have at least bothered to clean it up before they installed it. New ignition switch installed as well but the fitment doesn't seem perfect. Overall pretty decent job however the job was over $1k you'd think they would have had a little more care for the details of the job they were doing. They also left the truck in a bit of a messy state.

I took my car to BLC, they were very very friendly. My car was ready hours later. The next day another situation happened with my car, I called BLC and they came immediately to tow my car back to the their shop. I was very satisfied with the work and staff. My new favorite mechanics. Came across as super honest. I had them replace a window regulator; about 80$ cheaper than everyone else I got a quote from. I had them service my transmission. They knocked off about 25$ due to it not being to low on fluid. Will definitely be going back.
