Nima Midellawala, Personal Banker – Thank you for your help! But I found you are super snobby type of person. Your tone of language over the phone was extremely rude and has an offensive air of superiority which is not acceptable – was not good experience with you. You treated me like I am your butler. Please, do not treat people like that. Learn to be kind and respectful which will take you a long way - always better to practice the professionalism in communication either over the phone or email corresponding. It is up to you whether to take this review seriously or not but this is how I experienced. Also, you always acted over confidence on the phone but your performance was so poor. You asked me to sign in a wrong agreement form with variable interest rate instead of special fixed rate that I have been offered. I know human error can happen but it was careless. If I did not look thoroughly, I would be charging higher interest rate in future. This is totally unprofessional. I also asked you the breakdown of the principal and interest amount but you said you have no information available. How I suppose to know how much interest and principal amount I have to pay. I don’t want to wait till statements generates. I want to know NOW. Just take a look how CIBC breakdown!
I am writing this review for my experience at this branch today. I have been banking at this location and my experience has been quite positive, but not so today. I came to deposit a check which I usually do at this branch from the same source, and I never get a hold on my check. I was even told previously that I do not even have to ask for this since it has been a recurrent deposit. The teller today named Stephanie decided to place a hold for 7 days. I told her a few times that I have been doing these deposits and I got no hold in the past. She finally decided to decrease the hold to 4 days. She said she can make her own decisions as a teller. I went to to talk to the branch manager, named Jamie, who told me that I have to wait about half an hour. I requested only 1-2 minutes to explain this situation but she refused to talk to me saying that the clients already waited 15 min. I was willing to wait, but not half an hour! I got a call from the teller about 10 min later saying that she found the previous deposits and she removed the hold.
The security lady told me to take of my hood and my sun glass, while there were customers who have hood on them. I was upset. I told her today is cold outside that's why I am wear hood. I am wear sun glass, because, recently I had catract surgery. She became agitated and told me you must take it out. I took it off, while my eyes were in pain. I told the teller and teller told me he will share with branch manager. I don't know if he shared with the manager. This is second time this security lady disturbing me. I am not going back to that branch. I urge any to careful when they go that branch.
I love this location. The tellers are wonderful and the service is top-notch. However, they lost a star because they have one huge stumbling block: the lack of security in their ATM foyer. I stop by fairly regularly in the morning to use the ATMs, and quite often there's a homeless person camping out there. Usually they sleep through my visit but sometimes they can act a bit sketchy. There's no reason that the branch should be compromising customer security and safety by allowing random strangers to camp out in their foyer.
Incompetent, non-responsive branch and staff. BMO making thousands off my mortgage, yet can’t even send mortgage documents to the right address. Now calling bmo for a third time, just to try and get my mortgage statement mailed to me from this branch. Nobody follows up on anything. Agent on the phone said, i see your request to the branch last week and that no one has responded.
ATM machines are always down , vestibule smells all the time ..ATM doors are locked after hours . Get your ATM situation resolved . I see your response .. this branch is in the village and people go out after hours …Royal bank has a machine accessible out on the street ..instead of coming up with a solution you are telling me nonsense . .
Horrible!!! Absolutely brutal!! Made me call twice on the same day and made me wait over an hour both times!!! BMO - Better Make Other plans.... Shame on you as a company... Your customer service has been getting worse and worse over the years.. Avoid them like them like the plague..
I’m very disappointed with BMO, this was the first branch I visited today at 5:10pm and the doors were locked when Google had stated the bank was open until 6pm. It soured my mouth a bit, I’m unsure whether I should still have account with BMO ever again…
If doing a overnight security job at this site try not to too cold nd no restroom facilities u have to stand for the entire shift even in breaks so dont pick up a security job at this site for night shift .
Best customer service and ease of getting things done. Just came from Eglinton and Yonge location where they told me they couldn't complete my request .this location did it in 4 minutes .No issues at all!!
I usually bank online but today I needed assistance. I have never before felt such hostility from a banking officer like I did this afternoon when I visited my branch. Maybe it's time to shop banks

Worst customer service. Called 6 times to make a payment on my cc, wait times are minimum 2 hours. I have not used bmo since 3 years ago. They make it difficult to make a payment with them.
Sub-Par everything at this branch. Never return phone calls, giving misinformation about their products and poor attitudes. If you don't like your comfy bank job, go work somewhere else.

I love this branch soooo much. The staffs are always so friendly, patient and get things done asap. It becomes one of my biggest reasons to not move out of this neighborhood!
