Hi,We had concerned regarding RRSP loan. Last July 3rd week 2021 we went to BMO branch we opened a RRSP account for first time home buyer. Then they assisted us to open RRSP account. For more than 3 months now the personal loan account is shows active. This week we went here back and forth to talked to the BMO branch manager. Unfortunately he said that our RRSP account are locked in without our consent, reason of RRSP locked are due to investment and collateral involved without our knowledge. To my understanding they were given us false information. We want to take these to ombudsman and executive resolution team as they were redirected in the wrong path and BMO will be subject to penalty and other cost. Besides we got a house and we are have closing next week and our money is locked in without our permission and we might lost our house and BMO should be accountable. I need an resolution immediately!
On October 14, 2021 at 6:00 pm we had an appointment scheduled over the phone, to open a business account, with Farzan Shivji. It was 6:51 pm when i decided to email Farzan to question if i would still get a call that day, to which he replies that he had been trying to call non-stop since 6:00 pm but no reply. The number he provided wasn't familiar to us. Not sure what happened but fine. I thought that he could have at least tried to contact us via email just to confirm the number the same way I, the client, did! Email back and forth with Farzan, until i requested him to help me setup a new appointment and he just never replied back. BMO really needs to improve their costumer service.
Waited 20 minutes just to get change for a $20 bill. There were two tellers. The manager did not get off her butt (and three other people sitting in their offices) to come and help out. Place was filthy, as well. 10 months later... I went back and they have a special person who cam up in line and was trying to help out people...like a customer service person. I guess someone reads their reviews. Glad to see the improvement and I will go back again to see if it continues.
This location is inside the Mall. And there is a Tim Hortons in front of. If you order a coffee at Tims, someone will call your name when it's ready. If you have an appointment at the bank, you would be lucky if the security guy is in good mood and wants to have a chat with you. Usually they notice someone that is skipping the line of the tellers. They are friendly and can accommodate you in one of the seats in front of the offices.

I went after hours to withdraw funds from the bank machine and unfortunately the service was unavailable. Thank you for following up with me with the intention to provide a better product to your customers. While it was a temporary inconvenience on this particular evening because I went out of my way, you took ownership which isn’t normal when companies get a bad review.
I did wire transfer they messed up the transfer and in the end when wire transfer was done. I been charged twice. I paid $25 plus extra $10 which no-one told before and as well been charged another $10 USD from the money I send to person in United States Not happy with there Services at all!!! Seems like people who works there they don’t know how the banks system works.
Probably the worst service I've ever had! All the tellers are messing around their phones and had to grab their attention. The I had to sit around for an hour for a manager to increase my spending limit on my debit card. Unprofessional and wasting my time. If you can go to another bank I would highly suggest it.
I'm really grateful for this Bank, as they're doors were closing, The branch manager named Anna allowed me in to complete my deposit transaction, the Bank teller named Jesse was very kind and helped out with my transaction, I truly believe in BMOs slogan, "we're here to help". Thank you BMO at Yorkgate mall.
Haven't run across a knowledgable CS Rep. init. D.A for a long time. He was able to listen to my problem and tried his best to solve it. I guess this area has more than normal senior and the queue time will be a bit slow. It worth the wait if you can have the problem solved in one shot.
Appointment booked for 10 am. Met on time with Kevin for a few account matters. Very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Took the time to understand our requirements and provide us with options. Friendly but professional. Bank is in the mall -- plenty of free parking.
I should not give them any stars! the systems wont let you not give any starts. I have been waiting about 7 weeks for a call back from the branch manager - doesn't respond to email and his voice mailbox is always full. His manager isn't much better - go somewhere else
The banking machine in the front is more out of service then working . Inside always long lineups and staff that is unprofessional and rude . This branch needs total overhaul, way worst then any other BMO branches.
Terrible service and wait times are ridiculous. You wait more then half hour to be seen and they only have one bank worker working while the others leave with a huge line up out the door. Worst bank ever!

Very pleasant bank branch! This was the third time I opened a bank account in Canada. And the service in BMO was by far the best. Ms. Jon-Benet explained everything clearly.
Called in for some info, was rude and unhelpful, just useless. very happy i do not bank there, and NEVER would !!!!!
