I just left the Broadway Pharmacy feeling very unsettled. The level of disrespect shown by pharmacist Leah Trollip (sp?) to pharmacy assistant Grace Wanda infuriated me. Grace was unable to decipher a few words on the prescription note (I couldn’t, either) so she sought help from Leah. Her aggressive tone and remarks showed me how comfortable she felt belittling a grown woman and colleague in the presence of a customer. Let’s just ignore the fact that she didn’t acknowledge my presence once during her interactions, either, but customer etiquette is a conversation for another day. To add insult to injury, when Grace asked for her help a second time, she shouted at her, saying, “Can you not see I’m busy? I can’t help you!” She repeated a version of the above statement for emphasis and stormed off. All this in full view and within earshot of all the customers in the line. I asked Grace why that woman was so rude. Living up to her name, she gracefully brushed off the incidents and politely redirected my attention to the prescription at hand. I have independently confirmed that the behaviour I witnessed was not an isolated incident. I asked another staff member to direct me to the manager but he was not in-store today. I hope he sees this post and addresses this problem and the disgusting attitude of the staff member. It’s unfortunate that my first experience at Broadway will be my last - despite others there being so pleasant.

Situated in the heart of Durban North, I've been using the services on offer by this establishment for over 15years now. Staff are always friendly and super efficient. In all the years I've only ever had one incident when the pharmacist lost the script and I arrived to find the medication not being available for collection. Despite repeated attempts the pharmacist on duty was not able to get hold of the pharmacist that we were dealing with. Nonetheless, after a 25 minute delay everything was sorted out. Had this been an emergency, things may have turned out differently.

They literally made me stand outside for a good 30 minutes just to go and get me disposable masks,eucalyptus oil and two meds from the dispensary!!! 30 full minutes outside because I was asked if I've tested for COVID19 and coincidentally I had just tested today with pending results but they let others walk in by just say " yes I'm negative" with no SMS proof to show to the Security, I don't know about you but this process is just a futile excercise and was really annoying.

Good selection of health foods, first aid, OTC medicines, toiletries and gifts. The pharmacists are helpful and there is an excellent primary health care clinic with a qualified nursing sister. Vaccinations, dressing changes and tests, such as glucose, cholesterol, HIV and Blood pressure are available at a reasonable price. Discovery Health Vitality checks are also done at the clinic.

Little boys working as cashiers, walk around the pharmacy, chatting with each other, letting piles of customers wait, on top of each other, with only one cashier available. Not much space to breath. Please educate your staff to rather wait behind a cash register, there’s a pandemic rife, we don’t want to wait an eternity to pay!!!

Extraordinary pharmacy, safest chemist during difficult COVID times. Excellent staff, starting at the entrance with the friendly polite security, through to dispensary, where the dedication of the pharmacists during COVID deserves great recognition, till staff wonderful …

I rate this pharmacy a 5. They really assisted by providing the contact details of an emergency doctor on a Sunday. As a result, we have met a brilliant Doctor for future needs. Sumeer at the pharmacy was very kind and provided very professional support and advice. Thank you!

Waited 30 minutes in the queue to renew a script. 1 Pharmacist on duty, 3 hanging around at the back while there is a queue of 7 people. LAST TIME I am coming to Broadway Pharmacy as their service is aweful. Going to Clicks across the road in future.

Pharmacists on duty always go the extra mile unlike the competition down the road. Wide range of products. Friendly cashiers and security. Extended hours. Some items pricier maybe understandable due to being family owned and convenient.

You can WhatsApp the chemist for advise and to place an order. The staff is sufficient and listens to what you need but also gives advice when something better can be done. I enjoy their service online and in person. Good follow up.

Always excellent service and great helpful staff. Been a customer for years and haven't had a single issue. Most meds are readily available and if not they'll either get it for you or help with an alternative. Keep up the good work.

Very disappointed.. was charged more for a tetanus injection R212.00 then I'm sent the price after that it's R140.66.. it's bloody daylight robbery Bad service....

Been using BP for years. In actual fact I worked as a student whilst at uni in 1994! Service is king! Other pharmacies could take a feather and learn.
