"I’ve been here twice in the last two days"
"The pastry products look great but the breaky was not! A pint size toastie that was squishy in the middle & too hard or stale on the crust & a cheese n bacon roll, minus the cheese n bacon! I’m sure the tea will be nice in about 1/2 hour, when it’s cool enough to drink"
"Undeniably popular bakery in Glenelg beach side, evident seen from the frequent long queues"
"Banjo Glenelg Cafe and Bakery is undeniably popular, evident from the long lines that often form"
"the go to location for my morning swim crew, we love banjos - the staff are incredibly friendly, the coffee is excellent, the chicken and cheese toasties to die for, and nothing compares to the joy of coming in from a chilly ocean dip to "
I’ve been here twice in the last two days. Dining in with delicious breakfast croissants and then taking out for freshly sliced rye bread in the afternoon. Both experiences I was received by welcomingly kind staff. Considering the market price for nearby venues, it was a fantastic find for delicious food at a modest price.

Undeniably popular bakery in Glenelg beach side, evident seen from the frequent long queues. Their sandwiches is a standout, delivering a satisfying and flavorful experience that I highly recommend. One of the most busiest cate in Glenelg town
Banjo Glenelg Cafe and Bakery is undeniably popular, evident from the long lines that often form. However, their long black coffee left something to be desired, lacking the depth and flavor one would hope for. On the bright side, their beef

I discovered Banjo's by walking through Moseley square the other day. Used to walk around alot. Just starting walking alot up again. So, back to Banjo's! This Tasmanian franchise is delightful for five main reasons, not in any particular
While the meat pie and croissant at Banjos are enjoyable, I had a less than satisfactory experience with their coffee on my last two visits. Despite not requesting it extra hot, the coffee was uncomfortably hot, leading to an unpleasant
They sell the best pie in Adelaide! Tried their xmas speciality lemon pie and it taste heavenly. The crust are crunchy and had a good texture, the lemon jam are sour but not too overbearing. And the most important thing, the heavy taste
Absolutely phenomenal. Prices are fantastic because there are a lot of multi buy options. The servings are all a bit smaller but they taste unbelievably good. So many options!!! It's going to be hard to walk past this place and not buy
Great atmosphere. Great pies, pastries and coffee. But not so good on service. The lady that took my order looks pretty annoyed when taking my order. She literally can’t wait to finish my order and just move on to the next customer. No
Lovely place for a cuppa and morning tea! Staff are very friendly too. You have to try the Raspberry Housecake! It looks amazing and tastes even better! The bottom layer is filled with custard - deeelicious! …
If you love Tassie wild country then you've probably arranged to meet at Banjos. . The one in Hobart too. Room to read the papers, good food and friendly staff. They've got it worked out and Adelaide's very lucky.
Speedy service, big variety of baked goods. Family was super hungry, so didn't get pics except for my scallop pie which was great! The cape grim beef, bacon pie was delicious, as was the caramel slice
Chicken curry pie are spicy and delicious... Mum really enjoyed her potato pie on first visit, beef and mushroom on the second visit, & beef, , and cheese pie on third visit
Disgusting!! Not happy sharing tables with pigeons and watching them land on the counter where coffee is being prepared….never again!! Clean up the tables before restocking the fridges. …
Went there for the Tasmanian scallop pie BUT was deeply disappointed. No scallop nor any seafood flavour even though one can see the scallops in the pie. Lame currie taste only.
Has to be the most expensive bakery in Australia, very mid at best. Absolute criminal charging $8.95 for a pie let alone not putting the prices of the pies in the window.
Twice A weekly must stop. Delightful service with special mention for Elizabeth always welcoming. Warm and well made coffee. Will be returning to their cozy environment.
I've been on a mission to find the best sausage rolls. I really like Banjo's sausage rolls. Tasty without being over powering. My new fave. Liked the Mocha too
Happy I can get the Tasmanian curried scallop pies here that I fell in love with in Hobart. Banjo’s guarantees 6 scallops in each pie, and indeed there are!
I was given wrong toasted Sandwhich. Both baby chinos has marshmallows in them, ordered them without. Luckily I checked prior to giving to me 1 year old.
A very nice surprise to see Banjo's in Adelaide. During our trip to Tassie we found the pies, especially beef with black pepper, amazing.
Amazing range of freshly baked breads and buns daily plus awesome coffee .consume with a St Vincent gulf sea view. The best of Glenelg.
Banjos is a lovely Cafe, wonderful comfortable seating, always so warm, we love banjo's glenelg! Thank you Elizabeth! Big fan!
I first tried scallop pies in Tassie and was thrilled to discover that there's a Banjos baskery in Adelaide now too.
Delicious coffee and cake. Staff were really busy but very patient and helpful. Great deals and lunch options too.
Variety of bakery items on offer. Meat pies were great. Coffee was nice too.
