Wow what an experience with Lebanese and middle eastern type food and lots of yummy baked goods. Great family owned business they was so friendly but to top it off the hot pizzas and shawarmas were absolutely terrific and delicious. Also with many varieties of aswell grocer goods and lots of yummy assorted treats , nuts ect. I really recommend this place for anyone who loves great fresh foods, great and lovely family who delivers and take pride in giving great service. Will definitely recommend this!!! They had so much goods and goods for any children from toddlers and upwards. Kids will love to dine here

I enjoyed my takeaway falafel pockets (2 for $5). My friend said her chicken wrap was delicious ($11). Staff are friendly and food is made fresh. There are a few seats out the front but it's mainly takeaway.

No steps to get inside store. Narrow aisles, could be difficult for manoeuvring. Staff friendly, I am sure they will be happy to accommodate service near the doorway if needed.

I can not count the amount of times i have got my lunch from Baladi, its always fresh and really welcoming staff. Recently they started doing a shawarma, iv never had one before so it tried it. It did not disappoint, its delicious, really well marinated meat with the pickles and slightly toasted. Highly recommend branching out and trying this!!

Good meat pizza but I am a bit concerned about their hygiene standards. The last time I was there, there was a guy who was writing orders who was using his mouth to hold a pen while he went about actually preparing (touching) food. He kept alternating between these two tasks. None of the other workers there seemed to mind or noticed. Which make me wonder what else is overlooked. To be clear he was chewing on the end of the pen and then would actually play with it while taking orders thus actually touching the area which would have had his saliva. I have been here numerous times and this was the first time.

I’ve been going to Baladi since it opened when I was in high school. I hadn’t been since Covid as I have left the area. I came to the old burbs specifically to come to Baladi as I had a mad craving, I will never be back. The cashiers are incompetent and rude, they had a 10 year old stacking shelves and they are so expensive! Plus they did not let my elderly mother use their bathroom, which we both have dozens of times. I was geared up to spend $$$$ but the rude staff who were overwhelmed by three customers- one each- were off putting and unpleasant. A1 and Oasis all the way from now on.

This place is that mega find you hope doesn’t get too popular and change in any way! The food here is fantastic and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for some real middle eastern food that’s nothing like your local kebab shop, this is where you want to go. The kitchen area is at the back of the grocery shop. The lady’s are friendly and very proud of the food they prepare, it’s more like home cooked food than take away. Highly recommend the Lamb Shawarma, the flavour is amazing.

I’ve been coming to this store for the past 20 years. It’s fantastic. The food is authentic Lebanese. It’s all fresh, tasty, not bulk produced and packaged like Oasis and much cheaper. The Arabic/pitta bread is a quarter of the price that you pay in Coles and 10 times fresher. Try the falafel wraps, they taste just like those you would get in the Middle East as do the sweets baklava. They even serve up a great Kanafee. And to top it all off…. The staff are wonderful. Friendly, welcoming and lovely. Highly recommend.

Baladi, or usually just known infamously as Brady Road Bakery, is an outer south eastern gem most of Melbourne is jealous of, and for good reason. The best Middle Eastern Pizza and bakery options, sweets platters, herbs and nuts. Party catering, morning or afternoon tea, lunch. The beloved stop for so many, and my family can't go within 10 minutes drive of here without somebody insisting we have to go to Baladi!

Served tasty authentic and HALAL manakish that was absolutely scrumptious. Try the chicken tandoori and the cheese mushroom manakish, absolute chef's kiss ☺️ sujuk was like pepperoni, but a bit too salty for my liking. Oh and the customer service - staff were friendly and warm, and made us feel so welcome! All things considered, perfect place to get your Lebanese food fix!

Second time coming here and it was as fresh as the first time..fast service friendly ppl the lady even gave me a sample of dessert because I was curious and haven't tried it before..(besbusa) t and I ended up buying 6 in addition to the pizzas and wraps I purchased..what great people I am a newbie to the country as I moved here from the states I'll be coming more often!!

So glad this place is still here! Absolute gem of a bakery / deli / mini market!! Shanklish and a grape juice is my favourite lunch combo! It felt nostalgic going back after 9 years. Baladi has updated their menu and offer a wider range of foods, but their originals have stayed the same with consistent good quality, fresh good food, even after 9 years, it has stayed the same. The customer service is excellent with polite and professional staff. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious fresh spiced wraps with mouth watering pickles and the baklava is perfect. There was a bit of a wait for the food but it was because they were making it fresh from scratch and the flavours were incredible. I'm so glad someone told me about this hidden gem, I never would have found it on my own.

Brought some of their frozen Falafels to heat up at home in the air fryer and make into a kebab. They had to be one of the moistest falafel I've had!! Given they were frozen, was still so so tasty and full of flavour. Very good on price too

The best! I’ve Been coming here since 2002. Freshly made products, best imported pantry items from UAE, Turkey and Lebanon. Best middle eastern and African sweets. Number one for guava juice. Baba makes the dough for the pizzas. It’s the best! Number one Zaatar.

This place is a humble and hidden gem. Great Arabic food and very, well priced. For a meat pizza and a packet of fresh flat bread cost me under $5. I would have taken photos but I ate the meat pizza too quick!!

The best falafel in town! Worth the drive and their fatayer (pizza) on almost all toppings you can think of! They make fresh Turkish coffee for you, I tried it today and it was the best one I tried so far!
