Having just moved our son to the area for school, we were looking for a place to watch the Champion’s League soccer final. We found the BallPark Pub via a Google search and called to ask if they would be televising the soccer match. We were not sure if a soccer match would be televised in a baseball themed pub, but when we called, the person we spoke with said that they would put it on one of the televisions. When we arrived, the pregame broadcast for the soccer match was on one of the TV screens. We sat at a table and when one of the bartenders recognized that we had called, he put the soccer match on one of the bigger screens on a second TV near the table we sat at. We watched the game while enjoying great food and the very friendly atmosphere. The two bartenders, who we learned were the co-owners of the pub, were so friendly and accommodating. We chatted with them about soccer, the White Sox, and their Chicago neighborhood (the pub was within walking distance of the Chicago White Sox stadium). I highly recommend this pub for its friendly owners, staff, and local customers and the great food. We look forward to going back the next time we are on the South Side.

The food is amazing, drinks are priced right, great selection of craft beers and the bartenders and servers are always over the top helpful if you need help choosing from a special food item or draft. Last time I went, they had homemade cheesecake options that were to die for. Very laid back atmosphere, but with all the the right stuff and actual good service. I recommend it for everything from a business lunch, to a date night out - or a game watch.

They followed protocols during mandates. Even with mandates lifted, it's the kind of friendly place where you can wear a mask or choose not to and have a great time, eat some great food and try their awesome cheesecake or selection of craft beers.

Sooooo disappointed. We were at the White Sox game earlier tonight and decided to leave the game a bit early (since they were losing) to head to The Ballpark Pub. We are from out of town and read some really good reviews and thought we would give it a try. Wow. Should have just headed back to the hotel. Walked 20 minutes from Guaranteed Rate Field and arrived a few minutes after 10pm, walked in and grabbed a table and when the waitress came over she said the kitchen was closed. They closed the kitchen at 9pm, on the night of a game?!!? Really? Ok...so we ordered 2 Coronas. 10 minutes later a group of 6 or 7 "customers" came in. We settled our bill and as we were walking out low and behold a tray of wings came out for them from the kitchen?! Weird right? Lol... I guess you need to "know" someone kn order to get food. Never again. Not impressed at all.
Poor management...Stopped in to grab a bite and a drink 2/10/2021 at 1:25pm. Sat at the bar and BT served me, so far so good, but then about five minutes passed and no menu. Ten minutes no menu as BT is socializing with regulars, then a group of people walk in as there's a funeral hosting. I'm being patient, haven't drank any of my beer because I was on an empty stomach. Once the BT started pouring a round of drinks for group I began to put my coat on, as she started to serve them I walked out. There were about 3 or so managers/owners just socializing at the end of the bar. Also one of their regulars kept looking at me as if sizing me up, his eyes were blood shot and made me uncomfortable. All I wanted was a burger and fries, wasn't going to wait an hour or deal with the logistics.
Not Happy with the service here! They gave my food to a different person. Which I understand mistakes happen. So the host said that she was going to remake the order and I was ok waiting in my car till the food was done. 2 minutes after I get back into my car I saw the order that was given to a different couple. Had brought that order back in. After that couple left.... not even 10 minutes later Ballpark is walking that same bah of food that that couple had went through!!!!! Covid is still here! What's wrong with your lazy staff! I should sue y'all for that negligence! Gave me the bag! And the food wasn't even hot! So you know they just rebagged that food!!! Do not waste your money here!
Its a okay spot. The waiter gave us a paper menu from the table across us which I was like why? Why didn't I get my own fresh paper menu like I don't know those people. We got the ball park nacho with beef bisket and it need more beef for sure and less black olives and more onion and tomato and cheese. But the chips where made fresh and good. The ballpark burger with the egg was out of the world. Super good that BBQ was life. But my husband got the ribeye steak sandwich and it was sad. More bread and onion than meat. The extra cheese was good but its just so you don't notice the lack of meat.
Beer was a little warm coming out the tap. But service was great, at that she was pregnant but very attentive to myself and 4 others. It's a Sox bar I came in wearing my Cubs gear.

The following day, I placed my second order on Grubhub, which consisted of sprouts and chicken tenders. It was interestingly prepared with a cornmeal base infused with Italian spices. I believe it was a combination of breast and thigh cuts. Despite this batch being overcooked, I am inclined to give them another chance because of their value for money. In fact, I had leftovers from yesterday's meal, highlighting the generous portion sizes.

Went to this place and was expecting great service but received very bad service and the environment and staff made me feel very unwelcomed because of my skin color. Experienced racism at its finest and I won’t be coming back to spend my money. It’s a shame this place has a high rating when they treat people like that. Word of mouth is the best form of advertisement and I know none of my friends or business partners will ever go spend their money here.
We ordered take-out from The BallPark Pub for the first time tonight, and !! The place is very welcoming, the staff is genuine and friendly, and then there is the food.. My belly is so full! I had the rigatoni in vodka sauce special. My husband had the brisket sandwich. I hummed the yummy song while eating. My husband very much enjoyed his sandwich too. I love the baseball theme. Ordering from The BallPark Pub tonight was a grand-slam!
This place needs to get their act together when it comes to placing to go orders. The last 5 times I've called no one has answered, the one time someone did answer I was put on hold and forgotten about after a 10min wait. Try calling back and it goes straight to VM which says the mailbox is full! Real professional establishment over there. Unless you're walking in don't waste your time with this place. Never again
Menu we had did not have pizza on it but several other customers received pizza this is why we went as we saw pictures of the pizza. Were ignored for about 15 min before someone took our drink order. After we order drinks and food we received the drinks but food never came and waitress never came back to the table. We left after 30 minutes all we ordered was a burger. Will not be back.
Nice place to go before or after the Sox game. Can park for free South of Pershing and short walk to the stadium. Food is good, drinks are fairly priced and it's always lively and loud inside on gameday. Service is great and really friendly for how busy it usually is. Highly recommend too add this to your gameday routine

Ordered thru Door dash to try the place everyone is talking about. Got fries, pork sliders and Brussel sprouts. The fries and sprouts were awesome! The pork slider one The other hand was not flavorful at all, dry and bland. Two bites and I couldn't do it without spicing it up somehow. May go back and try other things, but definitely not the pork sliders.
The food was better than most places around the area however it is a little far from the sox stadium at least a 15 minute walk. No mask worn by staff so that might be a problem for some people. Saw them wipe multiple tables with the same wet rag with with no disinfectant.

Just a solid neighborhood sports bar. Awesome burgers, wings, and cheese curds. The fries are very unique - similar to Susie's on Montrose. Lauren is a sweetheart.

What a great place to catch the field of dreams, sox vs yanks game! Outside was empty because we were eyes glued to the game! Chelsea was an amazing bartender and sad I didn’t have time to order a snack! Next for sure! I can imagine this would be a great spot pre/post Sox game!!!! Go Ballpark and thanks for the memory with the best GAME EVER!
Last 3 times I came here I got sick with diarrhea. Burger is junk food, chewy bacon and reheated fries. By the way, treat is also disgusting. As everybody can see, the owner has no shame in replying to my review saying that it was my stomach... No... It was your junk food.

The dark haired bartender working on 8/5 called last call at 10 pm after after a White Sox home game, when it says that they close at 12 am. This isn’t the first time she’s called last call on us early, she’s also done it on a Friday night at 10 pm. She is frequently kicking people out early.
Very small but a treasure...love the Southside sports themed pub. I definitely enjoyed the brisket options for food and beer battered onion rings too ️....country music space with a patio in the back on a nice day a must go to

Very nice suburban pub. Good hamburgers and nice beer. Average prices. They have a special kind of (huge!!) onion rings which are fried with beer... something to try! The guy serving us was really nice. I would suggest, for an average night out, or to see sport games outside.

This bar has great food with a vast selection on the menu. Drinks are reasonably priced and the establishment is very welcoming. They may have the best ribeye steak sandwich in Chicago. It's not on the main menu but try it if you see it on the specials.
Came in for a few drinks before the game. The customer service from the owners and bartenders was top notch. The food is incredible too. I had the brisket sandwich and any of their smoked meats are to die for. I will definitely be back to try more!
Great Sox bar. We grabbed some food and a few beers before the game. Cheap prices, good bar grub and the bartender and waitress were super nice. If only the Sox had won.

The dark-haired bartender working on Thursdays and Fridays nights does a great job! She makes it a true White Sox bar and adds to the experience! The bar has great food and drinks. A great Bridgeport bar, that has an awesome patio. Go Sox!!
Checked it out for dinner a while back and was not disappointed. Tacos were flavorful and the shrimp sliders were like mini po boys. Food was super good and cheap. Beers were pretty cheap too. If you're in the area it's worth a stop by.
Stopped at this place for a quick bite and a couple drinks with my guy for our 9th yr. anniversary... Have no complaints, the chicken wings were delicious and the pulled pork sliders were fire... Will go back again! …
We stopped here between Pop Warner football games. Rich promptly responded to our email special requests. We had a great time, the food was awesome and our server was superb! No wonder they are featured on Chicago's Best!
Layout/atmosphere *Bar area/high tables; six TVs; parking lot in alley Food/drink *Chicken tenders (6) with ranch - no good; chewy *Half Acre Daisy Cutter - below average; hoppy *Goose Island 312 - below average
Very friendly courteous staff handful of nice locals very good burgers and fries excellent fries value great highly recommended We came in from Cleveland during this pandemic just before Thanksgiving …
Good food, although somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes the mac'n'cheese seems to be much cheesier, and whoever's cooking may or may not put salt/pepper on your burger patties.

Its been way too long since I've been here and I'm glad I'm back! They have some of the most delicious food on the menu. I also miss the cozy friendly atmosphere here. Dinner & a drink is served! ~Mario~

Great spot for lunch and a beer. Nice size parking lot. Service is quick and friendly. Wings plump nice flavor. Slider bursting with meat. Only drawback is tequila selection sparse.
This little hidden gem has the most delicious food! If you like Brussels Sprouts. It's a MUST ORDER! AND it was such a big serving, should be it's own meal! Waitress was phenomenal!
Awesome food! Quaint bar with unbeatable prices. Had a group of 6 and not one of us had anything negative to say about our food or service. Limited parking but worth the trip.
