Hello my issue is I called before I came because I went to Tampa Florida all the way from Clearwater Florida I called and she said yes they were available to do micros and she gave me the price and everything once I get there the lady tells me that the person who answered the phone is just the owner and they don't have anyone to take me so I get there just to turn around all the way from Clearwater and was in Tampa I feel like that is so messed up it should not be that much of a lack of communication is not fair and it's messed up. The thing is I called around every other salon and everybody said no and they say yes so I'm thinking I'm about to go there and get my hair done nobody should have told me yes had me come all the way to Tampa just for them to tell me no once I get there like I swear I wanted to cry. And yes it was a very very long drive but I was like it's fine because they're going to be able to do my hair and they didn't. I'm so disappointed and I just can't believe I used that much gas drove in that much traffic just for them to turn me down when someone told me yes.

It's the customer service that I feel is inadequate. I was disappointed in the service I received. When I attempted to express my dissatisfaction, I was spoken to as if I was wrong. They apparently don't understand the meaning of customer service. Along with poor customer service they are loud and rude. The salon is in dire need of repair and a need for decorating. It looks the same as it looked 20+ years ago. Although I appreciated the quick service, it was poor. I'll never return her again. They really need to take an etiquette class on good customer service and recognize when their customers are getting their hair done it's supposed to be a place of relaxation, quiet, therapeutic and serenity, not loud and obnoxious like they're in a jungle calling all the other animals.

First off I do not recommend this place to anyone. The services they provided me were very poor they talk way to much and spit in your face they made me feel very uncomfortable in there chair I left with my neck hurting. My last experience was the worst of all they did my hair terrible and took my money and did not want to fix my hair nor refund me back the money let me remind you there prices are pretty high so you’re expecting for you hair to be braided professionally. They did a complete rush job on my hair and my hair looked like I had it in for a week already. The head lady (Bally) was very rude and I will never ever go back. I had to take my hair out that same day and pay more money to get it fixed by someone else but it was definitely worth it .

In general, I don't post reviews but I could not let this one go due to the horrible service. If I could give zero stars I would. They are very unprofessional. The shop is dirty no one sweeps up hair after customers. They don't care about what style you ask for they do what they want then say I'm sorry. Last thing they quote a price over the phone to get you there then when done the price almost doubles. Then you have to pay 3 extra dollars to use debit or credit. But mind you there aren't any signs posted. I would never go back and I would not recommend to anyone. Stay away. You've been warned!!

Bally and her sister are the only ones that i allow to braid my hair, the other ladies braid goof also I just never sat in there chair but the Overall experience is GREAT‼️ your definitely in and out and if they don't know how to do a style they will tell you like just that instead of playing in your hair like Some shops would. If I had to recommend One person here to let your braid your hair for your 1st experience at Ballys I would definitely say "ASK FOR BALLY"

My head is still hurting and I got it done a few days ago. I paid $160 and my braids are too big, from the time I got in there they were laughing at me and speaking in their language, they're too rough and initially the stylist tried to blow dry my hair with no product or nothing with a small rat tail comb. They don't care about the integrity of the hair. I'd rather go to a black owned salon than to go back to these African shops. Over priced and unprofessional.

These people do not know how to operate a business. I asked for Bally to do my hair (since she was the one I called), and she doesn't even show up to the salon. They expected me to have my hair done by other people I did not know. Plus, to the hair stylists at the salon, they scared me away by the hair pulling they were doing to the clients. Talk about damaging your roots. I will stick to my one and only stylist from here on out.

Poor customer service!!! Bad attitudes. First come, first serve is a joke. Second person in shop but several ppl put ahead of my child because her style would take too long. Kids crying, no regard to the children. Does not clean hair from floor. Does not clean combs or chairs in between clients. Run! This is not the place to go. Unfortunately I could not give less than 1 Star.

I travel from Orlando to tampa to let these beautiful women groom me. Yes you will wait but the wait is worth it. There is five women that work fast to get everyone in including kids teen. Thank you for making me look magnificent. I get compliments all the time. I love my hair❤❤❤❤

Literally had me drive all the way across town for there vibe to be yucky when i walked in with no available braider and no one who knew how to braid the style i want . (Which was feed in) with grades that moved #bigwasteoftime #ifyoudontplayaboutyourtimedontwasteithere

The only thing that I have to say about this shop is that they talk to much in their language and that they weren't open on time!! I did get medium box plaits and they had me out in less than 4 hours!! If you are tender headed do not go here!! They grip everything!!

Love my hair! First time I'd been there. Stopped in once I landed from Indiana. Maime was professional and kind. Other braiders in the ship seem kinda rude. Downside they are often speaking in their own language and not engaging with customers--kinda uncomfortable

My daughter sat there hours waiting to get her done to come out with a hair due I did not ask for. My daughter said she was on the phone the whole while she trying to tell her she doing it wrong... still made me pay full price for a service I didn’t ask for

I have a mohawk hair style and asked for some cornrows to the top....I showed here the picture and explained how I want it in detailed.....to begin with she changes her price 3 times and she did not follow my directions. I'm not a fussy

I just can’t say enough about Ms Bally! I’m so satisfied with my hair. She stayed late to get the job done and yes I would highly recommend her! She gave me the exact style that I asked you!! Yes I will be a return customer!!

Bally's is a great place to get your hair done. The African women in there does such great work. I commend them doing one head after another I so appreciate them thank you ladies for making me more beautiful

Full head of small boxed plaits in less than 4 hours!! Plaits are real nice and neat!! Only thing is if you're tender headed you might want to tell them in advance because they grip EVERYTHING!!

My hair be looking on point every time I go here my braids be nice and tight and last a long time I be going here for 10 years my real hair is so long and thick I will not be going any were else

Absolutely not! The lady doing my hair had a attitude problem and my braids came out looking big and sloppy. Not alot of attention or care was put into my hairstyle. I will never go back.

Walked in, said what I wanted, got a price, was told to sit down and boom my hair was started on the spot. I was in and out of there in 30-45 mins and that's including dryer time.

I’m not one to complain but they were rude & ver unprofessional. No hot water to wash your hair, over priced & dirty roaches everywhere. Needs to get state board called on.

Excellent hair braiding services. Such creativity with hair. No appointment is required. These ladies fingers seem to make magic in their hands when doing hair.

Pais alot of money for a job my little daughter could have done it was a mess had to wait in between for her to pick up kids eat
