This temple is dedicated to goddess Banashankari. It is located just next to the entrance of the Banashankari metro station entrance. This temple was built in 1905 and foundation stone was laid by reddy brothers. Footwear stacking stand is available for the devotees just outside the entrance of the temple. Generally the area is very crowded and footpath is narrow near to the entrance of the temple. You can easily reach here from any part of the city as it is well connected with BMTC city bus network.
Neat and clean place , well maintained at all times ease of access and friendly staff who are ready to help , there should be an added wifi facility too . Apart from this I would suggest more ques to be put up so at peak times it wont get crowded as it does usually moreover you can better promote the use of metro card and make it hassle free for everyone. Better campaigns should be launched to make it a success and highlight the benefits .
Big, clean, hygienic, partial crowded and well maintained! Quite famous metro station of Bangalore. Green line metros en route to majestic and Jalahalli. Currently in the times of covid-19 they are not accepting tokens. So you have to have Namma metro card. New card cost is ₹50. You have to recharge it further. ✌️ Even more they are not accepting cash. Only card and digital payment. Staff is good and supportive. Don't litter there.
Place is clean, employees are checking if every one is following covid restrictions properly, no mask - no entry. But one bad point, they are not expecting Google Pay even though a separate Google Pay counter is there, it like just name sake they have a counter like this, imagine people if they forget there wallet or think they will pay through Google Pay... ♂️
Your body temperature will be checked at entrance with hand scanner. Ticket amount should be paid via metro card. Social distance being maintained everywhere. One flaw: Do recharge your metro card in advance (min balance ₹50 I guess). It will take around 1hour to server to update your balance in card so plan in advance to tackle last moment inconvenience
Very clean and calm metro station, crowd is not much as usual. The staff was polite and helped with the issues. You can reach to famous Banashankari temple which is very near to the metro station. Also the buses mostly of BMTC go and come to here. The bus Stand is very near to metro station. U can get buses for different routes of bangalore from here also.

Weekday & Saturday : First Train starts at 5:18 a.m towards Nagasandra and the station will open at 5 a.m Sunday : first train starts at 7 a.m The best parking is Banashankari Bus depot which is very next to the station (2 minutes walkable) as it is 24/7 and also has shelter for vehicles.
Banashankari metro station is neat and clean place. But outside its not clean, it's market and smells very bad. Its bit confusing. Customer service is very good. It very helpful. And most of the time metro is full. Hope bangalore metro is successful. Banashakari metro leads to majestic.
Well maintained metro station, a 2 min walk away from Banashankari bus depot. Has an SBI ATM in the ground floor, in case you need to withdraw money for the tickets. Can put fans in the platforms as it can get very stuffy in summers - applies to all non-underground metro stations.
Banashankari metro comes under the green line of Bangalore metro. The station in well maintained. Apt and required indications and maps are placed properly. Staff are friendly and helpful. Banashankari Amman Temple and Banashankari bus stand are right and left to the metro station
Banashankari Temple is the main attraction and the area is named after Godesses Banashankari, almost since 1950s and a very old temple of Bengaluru, very powerful plcae, special poojas on Tuesdays and Fridays and weekends, well connected by buses and metro (green line).
The metro is clean and well maintained. Usually one of the busiest metros during office days. The metro is very near to Sri Banasankari matha ammavaru temple. Easy to walk and near to bmtc bus stand for bus transportation.
People of south Bangalore are relieved, as we got connected to most parts of the city through metro. The roof of this station is shaped like a gopura of a temple. Suits the banashankari temple location.
It’s a neat and clean metro station and it have big parking area ... and you can take bounce rental bike near to metro station... walkable distance from metro station to Banashankari bus stand
Good connectivity for jayanagar as well as Banashankari area ,normal crowd during peak hours ,well maintained clean metro station parking facilities also available
This station has a huge space inside, the staff are also good, it has a parking area to spark two wheeler and four wheeler, it will be more crowded in the morning
Not much crowded. There are two entrances and exits on both sides of Kanakapura road. Must visit Banashankari temple just in front of the station.
Very helpful staff, ample sign boards to direct to correct place. Autos are easily accessible right outside the metro exit.
Crowded metro station located just opposite banashankari bus stand. Many routes buses are available from the bus stand.
Banashankari metro station runs on green line which connects to purple line via majestic interchange. Namma metro.
Good travel service and clean with wet floor and wet toilet seats . Sometime urine still on toilet seats
