This review covers 4 experiences that all deserve a zero star rating. Our first visit was to open a checking account. The employee that set up the account input our address wrong, so we never received our debit cards. Second visit was to rectify that mistake but they only changed the physical address and not the mailing address, so once again a new set of debit cards were mailed to the wrong address. Third visit, we get the mailing address corrected. We also present financial paperwork that requires a signature guarantor, so the employee sets up an appointment for the following week with a specialist. Which brings us to the fourth experience today, when we show up for our appointment with a specialist and present the paperwork, we are told that she can not provide the service that we specifically requested the week before. We were advised to seek a financial advisor at a different bank and we will take that advise for every future banking need.
I made a deposit into my business account at this location. Teller told me that the money will available next day, at the same night I received an email from BOA said that my check put on hold for 12 days . (deposit on 9/1 note of available on 9/13) Teller shouldn't tell customer if she doesn't know available date. If I know BOA put my check on hold that long, I should go to sender bank to cash my check, in that case I don't have to wait for more than 10 days for BOA release my fund. I hope this mesage reach out to whoever at BOA to improve the service to banking customers. Please note that my check was from insurance company paid to my business. So it wasn't bad check and don't need to take that long to verify.
As a new small business cx, I come in with a set appointment I made online to get my digital card pin activated. My original issue was not resolved bc they said my account was to new, though I was instructed to come in by an agent online. My following issues was the feeling of being rushed by the agent. He did not ask any questions about my business or about me, only why do you have 2 checking accounts? I told him it was for my business. Also I work at Apple part time, try not assuming I don’t know how to add a card to apple wallet. Which by the way agent also didn’t know how to do smh. Overall a bad experience.
Customer service lacking in service. Tried to talk to an associate after seeing the teller and after waiting ten minutes someone else walks in and is seen right away. No sign in sheet, someone walking around told me that I'd be seen right away, that I was next. Then walked out after feeling totally ignored. Tried to call there to complain and got a automated system that I had to run through 8-10 times before actually speaking to someone. You might have better luck at another location? I thought Bank of America was better than this.
Customer service at this bank is the worst at all BoA locations that I've ever visited. The banker name Deborah is so slow and incompetence. I told her I do not want $20 bill, she said there is no $20 in the money stack, but turn out there was 20 of them. She also gave me hard time when I withdraw money from my business account. She said my name did not show up on my account, when my business debit card clearly show my name, along with my driver license. Can't believe it.
Every time I come down here to BoA Bellaire & S. Kirkwood: Treat me like some alien monster Have people parked on the fire zone-your life Act like everything is great Gave me the lady's deposit receipt, that was in front of me. BoA denied my life saving PPP, because I'm a driver and do not have a commercial account. Anyone else want to throw me under the bus. Bank of America refused to help me and my family. Looks likea lovely place to pass on.
Recently went to this location to complete a private party car purchase.. the staff went above and beyond to help me with my task at hand.. Julio Garza provided outstanding customer service.. he helped me with documentation, offered us desk space for paperwork, coordinated quick notary help.. the tellers were also courteous and prompt... overall, felt good to be a BOA customer in an anxiety inducing situation.
I had an appointment and was there on time and the representative still took people before me. He was professional and apologized and i continued to open the account only to find out 3 days later that it had been closed for reasons they were "obligated" to let me know for this reason I have to say I am extremely dissappointed with this bank. If you have bad history with other banks do not bank here !!!
I asked for a bank letter it's been one month and I never received it. I called the national line they asked me to go back to the branch to have the letter printed. I went to the branch no one there seemed to know what I was talking about. When I decided to record our exchanges the on-site manager said she will call the cops on me if I don't leave.
Worst Bank Ever. I have had nothing but terrible experiences with this bank. Have the time when I entering a deposit for my mom I tend to get a bs excuse of why I can't deposit for my parents. And the line inside or outside is redculis. your better of going to a ATM machine or driving more farther for a better banking experience. 1/5 stars.
I went this bank to get my checking account opened. The process was very smooth. Special thanks to the bank officer Do Bao Anh Nguyen for processing my application super fast. He deserves not just 5 stars but an additional "Super Star" rating. Appreciate the other staff there as well, very friendly and customer oriented
This bank need new manager, all the time is only one teller and the other workers don't do nothing to help with all the people on the Line please bring new manager to this bank is not only one time is almost every day the same! DON'T COME TO THIS SLOWEST BRANCH …
This is by far, the worst branch. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I live across the street from this BOA so obviously, this would be the one I visit BUT never again. After waiting in line for a CSR, which one could only equate as, the rest of my life, I left. I will NEVER return
The slowest location I’ve ever been to. Every-time I come in the line is excruciating long with one teller. I’ve had issues with the actual ATM, it recorded that I deposited less than what I actually deposited, by far one of the worst branches I’ve ever been to.
Too bad I can't give it zero stars. Over 20 minutes standing in line waiting for a teller. In my opinion, you'd think that by ripping people off an hour's worth of minimum wage to cash checks, they'd hire more tellers. Absolutely pathetic service.
Alondra Medina and a older Vietnamese female teller helped me close my account in mid July and were outstanding to deal with, couldn't ask for better customer service, my apologies for writing my review late as I was dealing with a move. Best, Tom
I've been banking with Bank of America over 40 years. The attitude in this branch and lack of willingness to serve my needs caused me to seek another bank. Credit Unions are the answer. Don't mess with the arrogance of these big banks.
