Siendo el banker's bar habíamos ido a tomar algo de vez en cuando y nos gustaba. Cuando recrearon el bar de perritos neoyorquino de la ley seca el año pasado fuimos a disfrutar de la experiencia y resultó positiva por lo bien que lo hicieron los cocteleros que se trajeron de new york y que los perritos estaban muy buenos; pero la verdad es que perdieron el ticket de nuestra mesa y al final, nos tuvieron que invitar por el superretraso. La iniciativa del hotel nos gusta y ahora con la recreación del bar Boulud, quisimos cenar allí con unos amigos, pero el servicio resultó ser horrible, tardaron muchísimo en servirnos y se equivocaban continuamente trayendo platos que no habíamos pedido. Unas de las mayores decepciones fueron las dos hamburguesas y sandwiches que nos sirvieron; éstos últimos no pasan de ser como cualquier bikini de granja con la diferencia que cuando me lo he comido en mi barrio el queso está fundido y el jamón caliente, en cambio aquí estaba completamente frío por dentro. Y las hamburguesas simplemente saladísimas, se nota que al sazonar la carne picada no la han mezclado bien porque aparecían en cada bocado pequeños pegotes de sal completamente incomibles. Entiendo que un bar de este tipo tratando de reproducir el servicio de otro sitio es muy complicado para coordinar personal de fuera con personal propio y con instalaciones pop-up, pero también pienso que un sitio de la categoría del mandarín oriental con un restaurante dirigido por una grandísima chef como es Carme Ruscalleda, no tendría que tolerar un servicio así.

I was really disappointed in our experience in Bankers bar. The bar was virtually empty all night and the atmosphere non existent. We shared a jug of Sangria and 1 cocktail each and were charged €124. When I paid it became clear why the bar was so painfully quiet! Banker bar obviously prey on tourists in the hope of charging them exorbitant prices. Needless to say, we didn't come across any locals in the bar...no doubt they will have been at La Rambla where they would have got value for money, a great atmosphere and a taste of local coulture. I would strongly recommend avoiding this bar at all costs if you're looking for a fun, authentic and good value night out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

What a great little cocktail bar even if it is part of a hotel bar, the team here have made the effort to set themselves apart. Outstanding service and even better drink is what you can expect here. Walking in feels a little cold and a bit cheezy and you really wonder what the big deal is. Served up with a great decor, including little safes complete with keys in them, some even on the roof you get to settle into some ok chairs, but stellar drinks. There is also a delightful outside area if you wish to partake in a cigarette or even a cigar. The service team are ready and at your service to share quite the cocktail experience. Enjoy.

Great place named appropriately with menus being served in safety deposit boxes. Staff is amazing, and service is quick and polite. In addition, there is an outdoor area (open ceiling) with awesome high back chairs, plants, and an overall tropical feel. Cigar smoking is accepted on the patio. The drinks were made to our specifications. Old fashions with very little sugar. Hard to get most bartenders to do. In addition to drinks, they serve a tray of olives, nuts with a gorgeous vase with a cotton bloom. The servers accommodated our lack of Spanish and spoke English. I will definitely visit again.

Si bien la perfección probalemente no exista, la atencion de Sandra Ruiz y los cocktails de Giuseppe Baldi, me lo hacen pensar dos veces. Cocktails con una exquisita decoracion y un delicado equilibrio, ambiente muy confortable y musica de jazz en vivo ejecutada por musicos de excelente nivel. Es probable que el precio de las copas resulte un poco alto, pero en la balanza, vale la pena pagarlos y darse el gusto de disfrutar de uno de los ambientes mejores logrados para disfrutar de una experiencia 100% satisfactoria. El detalle:la terracita que aunque pequeña resulta muy confortable

Today we visited with a friend from Castelldefels and decided to eat in the bar for some fun. The service received by Laia and Lluis was spectacular. Very friendly, appropriately chatty but always attentive. We decided to create chaos and order from all over the menu. The lobster rolls were tasty (but more sauce please chef) and the club sandwich fantastic. Desserts - well, attempt to get all 3, amazing. And for mocktails, listen to Laia, she knows her stuff. We have been to this hotel and bar a few times and the staff are probably the best in Barcelona. Great night, thank you.

Great service, food, and drinks. Price was 15-20€ per drink and food was similar in price. Go expecting this and you will have a wonderful time with the atmosphere and the excellent staff. It is in the mandarin hotel. If you ask the concierge where it is, they will direct you to it. As for dress attire, it’s “fancy” but there are people in comfortable clothes. If you want to dress up, you can, or you can dress down for the occasion but gym clothes are a little too low for this establishment.

Mijn man en ik hebben echt een unieke ervaring beleefd en dat dankzij sybel, mac en natalia. Top service niks op aant te merken!! Heerlijke vibe ook. We hadden totaal geen verstand van cocktails, hebben we een hele gedetailleerde uitleg gekregen van al de mocktails en uiteindelijk heeft Sybel ons de shara's secret aanbevolen.... heerlijk! Dat meisje verdient een opslag!. Al bij al top ervaring, top service, top personeel. Jullie zien ons sowieso terug.

Nice atmosphere - great service. Drinks and food are ok - we had the esfera dorada and the lobster roll. Expensive but expected given the location. We went on a Tuesday night and it was pretty empty - seems like a good place for a date or to have a private conversation over drinks.

Banker`s Bar se encuentra en el Hotel Mandarin Oriental de Barcelona. Es un bar de copas con una decoración preciosa, me recordó a los bares más ¨in¨de la Gran Manzana. Buen servicio. Una buena opción para tomar un Gin o un cóctel si estás por el centro de la ciudad. Tiene una gran barra y sofás un cómodos para quedarse un buen rato, mejor ir sin prisas. No es barato pero sí una experiencia recomendable también para los que vivimos en Barcelona.

Actualizado 12/22: Sinceramente es de mis sitios preferidos para tomarme un cocktail solo o acompañado. La atención es excelente, el ambiente también. Los cocktails siempre serán iguales. Lo cual hace que sea una apuesta segura. Bueno , estuvimos el el PDT organizado especialmente este mes , sinceramente debe ser que no soy un gran cocktelero para poder decir que estaba genial , solo era normal . Como bankers incluso me gusta más ..

Durante el mes de septiembre el banker's bar se ha traído un pedacito de Nueva York con el PDT (Please Don't Tell). Cocktails newyorkinos y hotdogs de autor (Carme Ruscalleda, Joan Roca, Gaston Acurio, El chef del mar...). Me gustaron especialmente las gofres de patata con trufa. Los precios no son baratos pero es lo que cabe esperar de un bar Pop Up que viene de NY al Hotel Mandarín Oriental.

A fantastic bar with fantastic vibes. The hotel is astoundingly beautiful and the bankers bar is as beautiful as well. There’s a ton of thought into every drink and even though expensive I believe that this is a high quality bar that deserves the price. It’s 15-20€ per cocktail which imo is quite fair. Their snacks are great with olives, wasabi peas, and popcorn as well

El mítico Banker's Bar del hotel Mandarin de Barcelona acoge hasta enero de 2019 un maravilloso restaurante pop up mexicano. Con las recetas y la clase del restaurante original en Puerto Vallarta es fácil salivar. Riquisimos sus tacos en todas las modalidades y, de postre, el pastel de 3 leches. Lo único que eché de menos fueron aguas frescas en la carta de bebidas.

At about 15-20 Euros per cocktail, they have a very wide offer of high quality cocktails accompanied by free salty snacks. I went with some friends and that asked for sophisticated cocktails not in the menu, which they politely offered to try making, and asked if it was as expected after serving. Well educated staff. Recommended experience in the heart of Barcelona.

El local en la planta baja del Hotel Mandarin es un tanto oscuro y la "terraza" (patio) es angosta y cerrada, sin embargo tomarte una copa entre las altiguas cajas de caudales de lo que fuera en su día el Banco Popular y en este emblemático hotel tiene su encanto, el personal es muy amable y las enormes butacas muy cómodas. Las fotos son las de la terraza superior.

Estuvimos en el Pop Up de PDT que venía de NY este septiembre y se puede decir que la experiencia me gustó bastante. Los cócteles de autor que nos pedimos estaban muy ricos y los perritos también. Especial mención a los gofres de patata con mayonesa de trufa que estaban espectaculares. Me estoy planteando visitar PDT en NY la próxima vez que vaya para allí.

Ubicado en la planta baja del Mandarín Oriental, se trata de un bar/coctelería decorado como caja de seguridad. La atención es excelente y la oferta en bebidas es amplia. Tuve la oportunidad de probar varios platos y todos fueron exquisitos. Es un lugar cerrado, con luz tenue y mobiliario cómodo. Cuenta además con una pequeña terraza y una barra central.

Estupendo lugar donde ir a tomar algo, esta muy bien ubicado.. Si no tienes idea de que tomar siempre te aconsejan y siempre aciertan. Super tranquilo y acogedor, algunas veces lo inspiran en restaurantes(o eso entendí) a mi me tocó México y fue espectacular ya sea tanto la comida como los tragos que sirven.

Elegant bar situat al luxós hotel Mandarin Oriental al Passeig de Gràcia. Decorat de forma molt original (conserva part de les caixes de seguretat del que abans era la seu del Banco Hispanoamericano). El preu en consonància amb la categoria de l'hotel (entre 15 i 20€ la copa). El servei a l'alçada.

Decoración muy elegante. Con mesas y sofás muy cómodos. Dispone de una mini terracita muy agradable en verano. Puedes degustar unos gin tonics y la opción sorpresa, en la que el barman te preparará una opción siempre muy acertada. Precios elevados, pero ajustados.

Very nice executed mix of classic and creative cocktails. Atmosphere is classy, definitely check out the deposit boxes on the walls and above. Lovely staff with original ideas and super friendly. Shoutout to Sibel, ask for her she is great!!

Lo primero que impresiona es su original decoración (recordando la antigua sede del Banco que ocupaba el edificio). Ambiente selecto y elegante. Hospedándote en el hotel Mandarin Oriental tienes asegurada mesa preferente (¡comprobado!)
