Love the live music, everything else left much to be desired. Out party of 5 (4 adults and a child) waited 6 or 7 minutes to be acknowledged at the front door. Once seated, we waited another 5 or 6 minutes for a server to claim our table. Our server, S***a, introduced herself and immediately let us know that if we scanned the QR code on the drink menu and left a positive review, mentioning her name, S***a, we would receive an appetizer for free. We placed our drinks orders and she returned with the glasses of water, prior to the drinks being fulfilled by the bar. Upon placing the fourth and last glass, she spilled it on me, my chair and the table and floor between myself and my father. Not a big deal, but odd during this time, she took the opportunity to remind us about the QR code and survey. She delivered our drinks and asked if we were ready to order. We placed our order and after, she took the order of the booth behind us and we would not interact with her again for roughly 20 minutes. The booth behind us received their food and upon noticing our glance, she remarked that someone was bringing ours out. A bachelorette party was seated with her five minutes later and after taking their order, taking several pictures for them and the booth behind us finishing their meal, she said she would go get our food. It was all lukewarm at best. I also requested no pickles for my burger she acknowledged me verbally and naturally, consistent with this experience my burger was topped with pickles. The delay in delivery was really a disservice to the kitchen staff, because there's a chance it might have improved the dining experience when served hot, but we didn't get that opportunity. Instead receiving warm, at best, across the board. We were absolutely forgotten and perhaps once the water was spilled, which no one said anything negative about, she decided it wasn't going to be a great experience and mailed it in. This was easily my most disappointing dining experience of 2023 and likely longer. I can't recall leaving a less than positive review, but today was earned. 1/5.

We took my niece here for her 16th birthday to have a fun brunch, and ended up having a horrible experience. I am completely disheartened as we cannot get this time back. We came around 11, and our experience took until around 3 to finish (not by our own choice). We had to send back three plates, and one plate missed a side completely. One server didn’t know the menu and couldn’t identify the item ordered. It took so long to get the corrected food back, then I still did not have the side and had to reorder. We also got charged for three drinks that we didn’t order and had to get that corrected (this took very long time). When we finally got the “final bill,” there was still one drink we didn’t order. Initially, I never got the actual drink I did order. Management did not even attempt to rectify all of these issues. I only ended up receiving the drink I did order because it was sitting at the bar for so long. We were late to the other events planned for my niece. We had to chase our server down for the final bill. Our server was super rude and disrespectful. We spent $200 on this brunch. If I could give one star, I would.

me and a friend came in and got a table and we’re waiting for the rest of our group to come. it took them 30 minutes to send a server over just to get us drinks at the table while we were waiting. they then didn’t tell us that they were switching the menus over to the late night. so we ordered off the menu they gave us , which was no longer accurate. so then we had to take more time to try and order pretty much just a burger because that’s all the late night menu generally had to offer. the servers had bad attitudes. it took 35 minutes for 4 bar drinks to come out after everyone got here. and the kitchen would get me a side caesar salad , but declined me grilled chicken to add to it. i understand menus changed but it took a long time for our server to even get to us. we watched them sit at a table across the restaurant and not serve us. they were not very attentive . this is the only review i’ve ever left on a restaurant and that’s coming from a server whose been in the industry for 7 years. -10/10 don’t recommend

I stop in on Friday to have a quick bite with a friend. I sat at booth and was waiting there for a few minutes before I was greeted by Hannah ( who had noticed me sitting by myself for a while with no server and left her section which was on the opposite side of the restaurant) she found out that the person who worked my section had not shown up for work… so this AMAZING BEAUTIFUL PERSON made me a part of her section! She gave us exceptional service and made sure that she checked on us regularly to make sure we were 100% taken care of! She didn’t think twice! Just took it upon herself to take care of us! Went on a date there 10/05. My date and I only had two drinks. When we left my date paid for the ticket which was 27.00 and he left the tip space blank. The next day he sees 127 dollars removed from his account. We go back to the bar the next day and asked them to pull the receipt. Someone added a 100 on the tip line that he originally left blank. The bartender that night name was Mateo. The manager said that she was going to look into it and my date was instructed to call corporate. When we left he was still behind the bar working like nothing was going on. I’ve been to Bar Louie over the past 10 years and nothing like this has ever hardened before. I’m shocked and saddened that people are committing fraud in there. My date is from the Bahamas and only been in the states for one month and it’s such a shame that he’s learning a valuable lesson so early. Never leave the tip space empty because people can go behind you and add any amount.

My husband and I was taking a long walk downtown and saw this cute bar that also offers outdoor seating. They weren’t busy and decided to go in since there wasn’t a wait time line other bars around the area. We stopped in and noticed there wasn’t someone upfront to get seated- so we decided to sit at the bar. We also had to wait for the bartender to notice us. After a few minutes she saw us and walked over and asked if she could get us some water. That also took a while for her to return to us with waters. We finally ordered and also waited few more minutes before receiving our drinks. Once we got our drink we noticed on one of them they gave us a piece of moldy mint- we waited for her to return but never did. We decided to remove it and just let it be. It’s very hot outside. I was sat with my wife immediately. We just wanted to drink water and eat a quick lunch. It took over 20 minutes to be greeted. I witnessed servers arguing about who is going to serve us. I saw a manager walk by and make eye contact with me twice. It took 10 minutes to be brought water (I got up and got it myself because the only person to notice was the bartender, so he poured us some water and got us refills). Then it took 30-40 minutes to get my food. I got a chicken sandwich and my wife got a salad. Then it took another 10-15 to pay. I still tipped 20% because I used to be a server in the gulch myself but that was just ridiculous but Bar Louie has never been known for its good service.

This location changed my mind about the company! The bartender Jack is the most attentive bartender I’ve had at ANY Bar Louie. I have been to the Katy, TX and Sugarland, TX locations, and service always suffers. I would go unacknowledged at the other locations for 15 minutes before a bartender would ask what I want and another 15 minutes until I got my drink. I have even had my food order forgotten and not rung in. To the point that I now work next door to this Nashville location and refused to come. My friend finally convinced me to try again, and between Jack and the manager Bailey, they have changed my mind entirely! I have and will continue to frequent this location! They are game changers and Louie is lucky to have them.

I come here for the vibes and drinks! Last time I went the entertainment were two women with lovely voices singing what I would consider a sort of jazz/ indie, not sure but I loved it! This place is okay. I went with a small group of friends for brunch and they definitely are not following COVID guidelines because this place is packed and a lot of customers are not 6ft apart with how seating is arranged. The food was good but several people in my party, myself included, had our orders messed up. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wait time for food was 40 minutes so that kind of sucked. There is street parking but there are several parking lots near the area to pay for parking. The prices are a little high for alcohol but that's expected in Nashville. I probably won't return here because the experience wasn't as great.

Newly reopened, Bar Louie received a much needed refresh. All the seating and tables have been replaced, appears to be a new TV package all around the bar and restaurant area. Bathrooms are bright and clean and the exterior seating also looks to be new. The menu is the same as it was before however when I ordered the chicken nachos it didn’t have the same amount of chips and toppings as before but could have been due to it being so busy on a Saturday night. Cyndne (hope I spelled that right, know it started with a Cy but I was pretty lit by the time the check came with her name) was fantastic and had a great sense of humor. Will be back.

I Had an amazing experience tonight at Bar Louie in Nashville. Hannah was amazing. I came in after the kitchen had closed. Hannah still made sure My experience at Bar Louie was amazing and that I was Fed. (Considering that I did comen in to eat) I can appreciate individuals who go above and beyond. Just got back from a week in Nashville. While I know it’s expensive in Nashville, Bar Louie was by far the most overpriced place we were at. We stopped in for an evening drink and snack. Had one order of nacho chips and dip. Along with four drinks. The total bill was $88. More than any other complete meal and drinks we had all week. We paid electronically at the table and was never offered a receipt. Are waiter seem to disappear for extended periods of time. He was training a new employee and she was by far better than the one who was training her. Never again would I go back to this place.

Nobody there on a Saturday night, and for good reason. Service was slow, at one point for about 20 minutes there were literally no employees in sight. My friends drink took about 45 minutes to come, and he’d already finished his food before it got there. I ordered my burger medium rare and it came with a soggy bun because they’d plated it before everyone else’s was ready. Top it off with it all costing $50 for two drinks and a burger. Go elsewhere.

For a Sunday brunch we lucked out, there was no wait and had wonderful service! The menu has a lot of classic brunch options, not a ton of gluten free options but their Quinoa salad was delicious! We all had a lovely meal and enjoyed the atmosphere. When we were seated the light above us was flashing so bad that they just turned the entire sections lights off and the other patrons (no doubt recovering from the night before) cheered so it all ended well. Will recommend to others for sure.

The service was excellent, our waitress was personable and knowledgeable of the menu and what to pick and help pick between items. The food is well bar food for the most part. The fried were amazing, and id highly recommend them. The chicken sandwich was just okay, nothing special. It was a newer menu item and I figured id give it a shot and was let down. The same can be said for the tacos. Just okay. It is quite pricey for sure but somewhat expected due to the location.

Bar Louie has one of the best Happy Hour menus I've EVER seen in terms of variety and prices. It's especially awesome because it is a chain and I know that I can find a great deal all the times in a major city. The Gulch location is busy all week long but if you show up on a Wed which is the Beer special day, it's super packed. Regardless of the day however, no matter what day I've dined here, the service from the staff is absolutely consistent and great!

It’s so much better after the remodel. I work on the same block so it’s a new favorite place for happy hour! 5-7 Mon-Friday. Half off apps and signature cocktails! They need to find a way to get more people in the doors because Neighbors will be a big competitor when it opens down the street

Ordered an Old fashion and strawberry martini, 25 minutes later still no drinks. Not busy at all. Very slow service... didn't even get water. Service is not a priority here.

We went to Bar Louie for lunch. It took over an hour from the time we ordered to get our food. The food was ok. My burger was warm at best. We never got silverware and had to ask for napkins and refills. Do better Bar Louie.

Jen, the bartender, was amazing! Highly recommend the lemon drop! Fast service and comfy barstools!

This place was able to get our party of 12 in really quick. Every other place was 2 hours. The atmosphere was great but the service took a little awhile and so did the food. It was worth the wait though!

Shanna was amazing! Her recommendations were spot on. We will definitely be back.
