Barham Park is a beautiful and peaceful park located in the heart of Wembley, London. I had the pleasure of visiting this park recently, and I must say that it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The park is well-maintained and offers a wide range of activities for people of all ages. One of the things that I loved about Barham Park is its beautiful landscape. The park features lush green lawns, gorgeous flower beds, and beautiful trees that provide ample shade for visitors. The park also has a picturesque lake that adds to its charm and beauty. Walking around the park, I felt at ease and relaxed, surrounded by the natural beauty that surrounded me. Barham Park also offers a range of facilities and activities that make it a great place to spend time with family and friends. There are several playgrounds for children, a basketball court, a tennis court, and a football pitch. There is also a fitness trail where visitors can jog, walk or run. The park also has several picnic areas where visitors can relax and enjoy some food and drinks. Overall, I would highly recommend Barham Park to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing outdoor destination in London. The park is well-maintained, offers a range of activities, and is a great place to spend time with family and friends. Whether you're looking to enjoy a picnic, take a stroll, or play some sports, Barham Park has something for everyone.
This is a beautiful park from the outset. Well maintained by the gardeners and would be a commendable place to enjoy picnics and family time outs. It’s so so so unfortunate to review the state of drug use, human waste, used condoms and sanitary items, needles and a hive For the homeless and jobless that drink and do what ever else there is. Younger people having no respect for the environment or other people’s feelings, littering is a huge issue also with no appreciation or the delicate balance of maintaining an environment for other people who want to enjoy it either on their lunch or with their family. It’s a disgusting place and intimidating with vagrants loitering, boozing and it’s an appalling nightmare of a mess. I have given two stars because an effort, not greatly imposed, is made to try and maintain it. These younger people must be educated on respecting the environment and other people’s emotions to this area of recreation. Young children being subjected to dangerous items like needles and human waste and litter is utterly irresponsible and must be dealt with. I commend those that clean it three times a week. But it’s not enough. What a shame. Truly
I had been given ticket to a fair, I arrived a little early and decided to go for a walk around the park. I came across this structure but I can only guess as to what it's use was... but I love the way the growth hid it and took a few pictures.
Playground
There is a children's play area which looked well used and was full. There was also a exercising area next to it.
Dog-friendliness
There was a few people in the children area with smaller dogs. Over all I didn't see anyone walking dogs in the area
Picnic area
I didn't explore much of the park as that not what I was there for but there looked to be plenty of space for numerous family to picnic. There was a few squirrels, Magpies and pigeon. But not lions, tigers or bears "Oh my"...
This is a must-go park located close to wembly. Reminds of its Victorian roots. The walled garden is a popular relaxation spot with visitors and the children's play area is a local favourite. The park is located about two miles to the north-west of the A406 (North Circular Road) via the A404 (Harrow Road). The Wembley Fire and Police Stations are close by on Harrow Road. Wembley Community Hospital is a few minutes walk away. Barham Primary School is nearby. The car park accommodates approximately 16 cars and there is good pedestrian access along the Harrow Road. Have a beautiful view.
Barham Park is a hidden gem near Sudbury town! It's a perfect place for families with its well-maintained children's playing area, offering endless fun for the little ones. The park's tranquil atmosphere and lush greenery make it ideal for relaxing strolls or picnics. The amenities, like clean restrooms and benches, add to the convenience. It's great to see the efforts put into keeping the park clean and safe. Whether you want to unwind, watch your kids play, or simply enjoy nature, Barham Park is the spot. Highly recommended for quality family time and outdoor recreation!
Park is located nearby to the main road so you can get there by bus very easily. Good thing is it has many trees with large area covered so you can choose a good spot for you to enjoy time with your family or friends BUT the main problem is the dog litter!! You have to literally scan the area to see if there is any dog litter in your area of choice to avoid stepping on the litter. Apart from this downside, the park is good as it contains many trees, path for walk/jog and children's play area.
“Barham Park in Sudbury is a hidden gem. With its serene ambiance, lush greenery, and well-maintained grounds, it offers a peaceful escape from the bustling city. Perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic with family and friends. A tranquil haven worth exploring.”
Dog-friendliness
Yes park is dog friendly
Picnic area
One day picnic
a tranquil and generally nice park. there aren't too many people around apart from in the children's playground, but other than that, i reccomend! pretty little flower displays near the old library and plenty of benches to sit on. further into the park you get lots of greenery and bushes and all that, nice for a picnic.
There are a number of beautiful features to discover in this park. The walled garden is wonderful. There is another area where you walk under a canopy. As well as these features there is a good size children's play area with plenty of aperatus and a really good looking exercise area right next to it.
Beautiful park and amazing gardeners, only 5 min walk from Wembley Central. Always I enjoy with my family or friends. A small play area for children are very nice. Unfortunately my bad review is for drug use and human waste because sometimes is little bit scare to walking in.
it is a beautiful and quiet park, behind the park there is a beautiful flower garden. There is some preconceived landscaping, but it looks a bit neglected. There is a playground for children and sports equipment for adults. You can come to spend time with your loved ones.
What a lovely park and sometimes we enjoy funfair as well and treat stall like ice cream and much more.. and also there are some exercises equipment as well for some kind of relaxing exercise for all ages..! Without paying Gym fees, dog
Lovely little play area and seperate well designed gym area set in a lush green large park with pond and gardens. The only drawback is the toilet. Need more toilets here as it gets busy over the weekend. Overall we enjoyed coming here
Really nice park with a lot of open field and gardens. A lot of trees are making shades in the summer to keep you cool. The park is perfect for jogging due to the loads of different paths. Definitely a great place to be in the summer.
Wonderful park for kids and dog walking. Can be a lot of litter around at times, but there's a good mixture of open grass fields, wild flower field, wooded area and formal gardens. Great kids playground and outdoor gym.
Came during spring time, couldn't have been more beautiful! My only problem is that I noticed a middle aged woman allowing her 10/12 year old son to pee in the park. In a public place in the middle of a pandemic …
the play park has been updated. and I'd a great park for kids to play. the grounds are lovely and well kept, parking is convenient with small charges. All in all a great park for walking, playing and exercise!
A very good park having all facilities for children to play. For elders to do exercise all amenities are provided in this park. The park is so big with play area(play ground)and walking track.
A lovely park in Wembley with a big playground for children, work out tools for adult and a vast field for picnic and games. Fairly well kept and easily accessible.
Great place for walking n exercise. It's a big ground with lots of grass n banch to sit n a mini play ground with rides are available for Childers
Locals often leave this park Very dirty with rubbish everywhere. The kids playground and adult outdoor fitness area is well equipped BUT you have
Fun afternoon with the family. Took a picnic. Kids played until their hearts were contented. Pay and display parking.
Lovely place to spend with your kids and also for grown up people with exercise section next to the kids play area.
Lovely public park. Excellent place to come for a walk or just to get away from the road traffic for a while.
Its very nice park, children play ground, flowers , much more there. Come and enjoy the sunshine . …
Very good park for kids and easy nearly access bus stop, number of playing things available.
