My husband and I are of Hispanic ethnicity,and granted were a bit dusty as we just got done recycling some scrap metal, we didn't think we'd be followed around by what seemed like every working employee in the store. Nor did we appreciate being asked several times if we needed help/if there was something we were looking for as we answered clearly and politely no that we were just looking around.(it's a small small store you could hear the answer no matter where you are standing.) We honestly werw just killing time as we were waiting on our pizza that we just ordered. Unfortunately we did find a couple of things that we needed for our trailer and jeep. Again we had just cashed out from recycling so we had plenty of money. I refused to purchase anything from that ,what seems to me as a racist stereotyping retailer. There were plenty of customers in the store but none being treated the way we were, and I am disgusted with these people. It's so sad that now in 2023 that people are still experiencing situations such as this . Shame on you ace hardware I'll never come to this place again and I highly DON'T recommend this place

So I enter the store I showed a picture of the item they carried to the cashier. She had long black hair. Oh that would be in aisle 8. I said it was electrical lightening. Well I went down to that aisle well it wasn't there only spray paint. I then followed my instinct went to the electrical aisle and there is was. As I was checking out. Hey can you help cover for me they called me over an hour ago and you know I was busy. I don't remember why they called me. Said the other employee. The cashier then said I don't know what they wanted I had my earphones in. As I walk at the door the young man said to the lady with the poney tail where have you been I have been calling you for help over an hour ago. I get it people go to work for a paycheck. But how does this show team work or how does this help out the consumer. I do love Ace hardware. But you have to do better than this.

The south mountain ace hardware is amazing I remember I had to rebuild a lamp n I wanted the antique lamp to look as close as it can to how it originally looked it need a brown wire to plug into the wall a new switch and a new house for I can put in a new bulb as well as the plug to put in to the wall well I started to think I got a lil ahead of my self knowing I never done anything like this before but the employees where so amazing from the front of the store all the way to the back of the store I was frustrated trying to do it by myself so asked for help n was out the store back at home fixing and finishing the project within 30 min and will never forget the help they gave me almost a year ago

I first got there and they already had a lock on the truck i rented which meant I needed to go back so they can saw it off; Then I call around 6 pm to make sure how to drop off the truck and the phone either disconnected or she hung up. So, when I get there while it’s closed with little instruction, I ask the workers leaving and they were super rude and condescending even getting mad that the call hung up and blamed it on me for not knowing what to do. I assumed she hung up so I didn’t bother calling back. The guy was also like “park it where she told you” yes, that would’ve helped if I got full information, overall a bad and stressful experience and dissatisfied.

I came in earlier and Isabel helped me she was very professional , kind and courteous. It was an absolute pleasure to be assisted by her Part two I came back an hour later because I lost the initial product I got from her and I was assisted by Andres he was also polite and courteous. I didn’t remember sizes and type of the product earlier so I asked Andres if I could see if Isabel would remember and he said yes so she came picked out what I got an hour ago and I was completely satisfied with both of the customer service agents. So kudos to Barry’s Ace Hardware for having two great customer service representatives

I took my window screens here to be re-screened. Not only did they do a FABULOUS job, the customer service was over the top with their communication. Pricing was also very reasonable. So much so, that I took back more screens. I dealt with Jesse at the store and he was incredible. This store is right in the path of the new light rail so I am sure they are suffering from the construction. Please patronize them and help them through this time. You won't be sorry.

I ordered 100 pk stanley utility blades online they were on sale and received an email saying was ready so I head to store and they try to give me a 3 pk and they have a 100 pk but they said it was more expensive so they don’t even try to fix it they make me drive all the way for nothing time and gas = equal money so they decide that the costumer lose instead of them don’t recommend this store

Iv come here off and on for 15 years but I think I might just go to lowes from here on out. I cant believe there's a charge for for purchases under 3 dollars. It's simply not worth it to me when I need a bolt, screw or switch replacement under 3 dollars. The customer service is to laid back but I prefer professionals working the store and not to be referred to as bro

After being declined return at the other ace hardware on 51st and baseline.I came here and explain to her what happened immediately she helped me and returned the item for me because it was defective. I would definitely recommend this ace if you ever need anything. I’m definitely coming to this one again, great customer service and actually listens to customer

Been coming to this Ace Hardware since I was young. Still come as much as I can. Really helpful and friendly staff, if you can't find something they'll find it for you in 10 seconds. Love this place. Staff is always willing to help and are very knowledgeable. They know what we need in as little as supplies as necessary. Even when piping had been Frankensteined together, by previous owners, Ace had better and more reliable replacement fixes. Will always come back.

The store is great and so are the workers\helpers. I would give it 5stars but I'm the type to look around and see what a store has; if I don't need help then I'd expect the young fella to go help another instead of following me around the store as if I was going to steal.. not cool..

One of the better ace locations always someone willing to help you located all the products you need for do it yourselfer's not a large variety of building materials but it's good for normal everyday occurances around the house needs or small projects that you may be undertaking .

This Ace Hardware store has some of the friendliest most helpful staff. I've been shopping here for over twenty years and it was recently remodeled and expanded. Great place to go if you're in a hurry and want to avoid the large supply stores (Home Depot/Lowe's). I love it here!

Easy to find you can see the sign from the street the store front parking is a little tight if you have a trailer pull though to the back part of parking lot . Staff was helpful it is pretty much like any other ace hardware in theybway of products.

Workers are very judgemental about people they think will steal things by constantly following them around the store asking "IF THEY CAN HELP YOU" OVER AND OVER OR ACTING LIKE THEY ARE CLEANING WHEN THERE IS NOTHING TO CLEAN The worst store ever

Not only did they have the electrical parts that Home Depot didn't have, they gave me personal service finding all of the components needed to get the job done. Decent prices, excellent service, and open on Easter. Recommended hardware supply.

Bought a defected item that ended up not being the correct one for my project and the employee refused a refund. I’ve been going here for 3 years and they treated me like I was a thief. Unfortunately, will no longer come to this location.

It’s small inside. I felt Claustrophobic in there. There was a lot crammed into this small space. It was better than driving across town to get locks for the doors. I was sure glad they were located close to the house we were working on.

This was my first visit. I was really surprised that I didn't come sooner. They had everything I was looking for and more, with reasonable prices. Saved me the 4-mile drive to the Lowe's store. Better service here and faster too.

The reason I went to Ace Hardware instead of Lowe's was because of the convenience. As soon as I walked in I had 2 young gentlemen helping me find what I was looking for, that doesn't happen at Home Depot or Lowe's.

I go to Ace when I need help because the big stores have no help or input to offer. Everyone that I've rldealt with at ace has been extremely helpful and goes the extra mile to help their customers.

Unlike most other ACEs in the Valley, this is a working person's store. Friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. This is a throwback to hardware stores of a bygone era. We Will definitely be back!

Great people to do business with, and yes they are very helpful and knowledgeable. Fairly large inventory so you stand a good chance of getting what you need for most projects and repairs.
