I recently listed my house for sale with Nathan Hick as my controlling agent . Upon meeting Nathan for the first time . I was immediately impressed by Nathans professional personality , extensive knowledge and enthusiasm . After follow up contact was generated by Nathan and myself , I knew Nathan would provide my best opportunity for a successful sale . The sales strategy Nathan developed after completing a walk through and consulting with me targeted the serious buyer . The first open house day had a morning and afternoon viewing to attract as many people as possible . This strategy proved a wise move as viewing numbers were strong A second viewing day run during the midweek afternoon attracted another strong response . Numerous people were verbally making offers during these 2 viewing days . After the open house had concluded Nathan suggested to call in all formal offers . Following the hard work and diligence of Nathan , the next day 3 written offers were presented to me . That in itself is an excellent response . The offers themselves were all outstanding and above my expectations . Nathan went through and analyzed each offer with me . I then informed Nathan of which offer I would accept . Upon my signing of the contract I was a bit overwhelmed and on an emotional high . Selling a house can be a stressful process but Nathans guidance eliminated any concerns . I was at peace the whole way through knowing that Nathan had my best interests at heart . In summary , my house sold 4 days after listing . Having to sign over a property which had been with another Agent who was not able to sell the property, did feel a bit dubious at first, however, as the time progressed James did a very very good job in having to take over and pick up the pieces and deal with the builder which James did a very good job and sold the property all withing the time lines which was such a relief. James would always call me promptly, and was a pleasure to deal with and always communicated well and kept me very informed on the progress and what was happening. There is still a further "last leg" to have finished as the property was sold off the the plan and to another buyer. However that is to be settled in another couple of weeks and have full confidence with James managing the final purchaser's payment. With James having handled this sale, it took a lot of pressure of myself and James seemed to do it all with understanding and ease. I was very happy with all the service from Barry Plant Croydon and the agent who was handling the property. At the time I gave an online response for the real estate agent and to the best of my knowledge the local Barry Plant Croydon office all of which was terrific. However when it comes to Barry Plant Head Office with whom I had know contact, persistent badgering to complete a survey is frankly annoying. In this case we the purchaser are not responsible to provide information for you to use in your marketing strategies. Sadly this is a wide spread unreasonable request that many (not all) businesses seem to demand as a right, as part of after sales service. I hope this is helpful

If you are looking for someone to manage your property then Jess Fouet is the person to talk to. Jess has been managing our property for us since 2019. We have used other property managers but none have provided the care and attention to detail that Jess offers. Spoke to Daniel Cassar. Found him extremely rude. I genuinely forgot i had a appointment with him to sell one of my units as my 7 month old was very sick and he just turned. Was making very rude remarks. It's clear he just wanted that sale in the unit. I found him extremely unprofessional. Would never ever go with Barry Plant now because of this. He has two daughters so he should understand. Very very bad behaviour.

Worst service possible. I have never encountered such a terrible real estate company. Inspected a rental property 3 times all to be met with the key doesn’t work. Despite many attempts to over offer and comply to their rules, they still did not assist me in any way or return any calls. Took 3 part days off my work just to inspect a property. Do not recommend and will not ever suggest Barry plant to anyone.

Fro 48 hours I was stuffed around with ridiculous back and forth that they said was the vendor raising issues, and then when they were due to give me an answer they suddenly said they was another buyer from an inspection 2 days earlier that they had been trying to get an offer from.
