"Great playground with easy climbing for the toddlers and challenging areas for the preschool age"

"Amazingly peaceful"
This small park sits across from a high school. There is a children's playground area, several tennis courts, and a decent walking trail. The only drawback, for me, is how small the parking area is. If you end up having a birthday party in the pavilion, it would be possible to fill the lot just with your party.
The playground is nice and has a picnic area and public grills to use. There's a tennis court and a walking path to use as well. I wish there was a couple more swings to use and a permanent bathroom, but that's the only downsides. They have a bigger kid side and a little kid side for fun for all ages.
Great playground with easy climbing for the toddlers and challenging areas for the preschool age. Plenty of slides (5) and four swings. No shade and therefore not great in the summer months but great during early spring and late fall when the extra sunshine is a plus!
Tennis courts recently resurfaced and are in great shape. There are a total of 8 tennis courts, arranged in 4 fenced areas of two courts each. Some of the lights have been burned out for quite some time, so only about half of the courts are playable after dark.
Amazingly peaceful. The visual stimuli the scenery here provides is stunnigly beautiful for both deep woods hiker's and those who prefer to stick to paved trails. I've even found 2 Native American artifact's here on a small rock bed in a
OMG my 2.5 year old son loves this place! Two playground areas with swings dividing them. And one has 2 slides (that's his favorite). The ground is soft, bouncy and flexible, but not rubber or wood chips. Parking is limited, but we've
Great little quiet park with two play structures for different ages, a picnic table pavilion, tennis courts, and a hidden cat village in the trees. Not sure who cares for all the cats but they had lots of food when we were there.
Lots to do for different ages. Good sidewalks and trails nearby to walk. Be careful when the parking lot is full. Don't leave anything in the car. I had my window busted and a wallet stolen while playing with my 3 kids.
This was a nice playground but the portapotty didn't have usable tissue it was wet. The kids enjoyed the swings and the slide. It was a nice place to have a birthday party . Parking is limited. …
Nice little park with small sheltered area and a walking track. It has 2 climb up slide pieces of equipment and 4 swings. Some semi public use tennis courts. Main down side is the parking, pretty small.
Nice and quiet. There are a few playgrounds side by side with benches. There is an open grass area next to the playground where you can toss a football or throw discs if you have your own basket. More
The park has two playgrounds, swings, a tennis court area, a covered picnic area, and lots of room for the kids to run around. My son loves going here and climbing all over the playground equipment.
I saw graffiti. It looked washed off by rain, but I wish it was a lot cleaner. Then it will be a lot better. I know that kids don't really care for that stuff, but still the adults see it.
Lots of fun, colorful things to do at the park. Some of the sides could use replacing and are worn, but everything is in working order and my kiddo had a great time climbing around.
Beautiful, great park with nice playground equipment. My 2 year old granddaughter suffered several mosquito bites though. Will have to remember to protect her before we go again
Well maintained by the city, tennis courts are just redone, lights for night tennis and porta potties. Run groups that meet there every Saturday morning at 7am as well
This is a very nice park as long as you go before Sundown. After dark it's a Haven for crazy teenagers. There should be more patrols going through this area at night.
Quiet little out of the way park, close enough to everything to enable a solid little escape for kids. Playground equipment is beginning to show a little age though.
Pros: Easy distance from parking. Compact size so you dont have to constantly follow your kid around in fear you'll lose sight of them. The park is a good distance
Nice park. Playground, tennis courts. Very close to Parkville high school on Congress. Kid friendly area. Great place to play pokemon go.
Cute little corner park with a decent shelter house and many seating options. A few tennis courts on the grounds as well.
Small park with a shelter and 2 small playgrounds. There is also a couple of tennis courts as well.
Restroom is not good. It's a portable potty. The stuff was up too the toilet seat. …
Tennis courts; playground; covered pavilion; short walking path
