The place where gossips, talks and many more happen with tea, coffee and cold drinks. There are many small accessories stalls where they sell varieties of souvenirs from Nepal. Many tourist are attracted to it but be careful with the over prices and ask for some good discount. This place reminds me of my teenage years where we used to come to have evening teas and share about our lives.

Historical land mark This place is famous for specially Newari culture and festival. This place little Crowded but still good to hang up with friends. :) It is a very lively place where you will loads of small time vendors selling random stuff on the road, it's more like a flea market, it is located next to the Kumari ghar where the Princess resides. The place is next to many well known historical monuments and buildings.

Basantapur is known for Kathmandu Durbar Square, with centuries-old palace buildings, courtyards, and temples, some damaged in a 2015 earthquake. Exhibits at the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Museum include the Shah throne and intricate stone carvings. Worshippers offer marigold garlands at the huge 6th-century sculpture of Kaal Bhairav, a fierce Hindu deity, and visit Kumari Ghar palace to glimpse the young “living goddess.”
Buildings and vibe ...are wow❤️
