"I stopped here because it was on the way to where I was going last week"
"B&B is the real deal"
"9 months pregnant when I go in at 6:30 in the morning with two other customers I am immediately greeted with snotty attitudes from the two girls working"
"Great coffee! HOWEVER, The guy at the front Paul was the only one managing the front out of the 3-4 hours me and my boyfriend were there from 12-4 today"
"I've been a patron of the Liberty Park 'Beans Brew' coffee shop since it originally opened"
I stopped here because it was on the way to where I was going last week. Employees seemed amused by the idea of any type of mask policy. There were no signs anywhere to indicate what customers should do, but I was the only one wearing a mask out of both employees and (full parking lot) quite a few customers. Drinks are still overpriced and STILL mostly come out of a machine, similar to getting a slurpee. I wish they would teach them to make drinks from scratch like nearly every other coffee shop. Even Starbucks is better in this light. Definitely going to spend my money elsewhere, even if it's out of the way. Disappointed, I know they can do better, but it seems like feedback hasn't helped. This isn't meant to be malicious, but rather honest and straightforward. (As a sidenote, at least this location was clean and had complimentary water, unfortunately offered with styrofoam cups - yikes). Thank you so much.

B&B is the real deal. With a perfect park adjacent location and a chill relaxed staff this java stop never disappoints. And of course the brew itself is hands down some of the finest in the 801. If you are an iced coffee junkie like I am just go ahead and take my word for it. I dare say it's the best in the city. Bible. Plus their sizes are bomb and the prices too. Even with all these pandemic blues going on they are still able to offer fast, friendly and quality service with albeit a masked smile. Bonus Jonas for us outcasted old school cigarette smokers too. You won't be met with only death stares by patrons there when enjoying a cig with your coffee outside. Smokers or not - the B&B crowd is there as one tribe, in the name of the holy bean and the holy bean only - there is no other time to spend on silly pedestrian disdain. Here you are free to be you...but that you has just got to worship the beans and what they brew.
9 months pregnant when I go in at 6:30 in the morning with two other customers I am immediately greeted with snotty attitudes from the two girls working. When I tell them that I have multiple medical exemptions as well as 9 months pregnant they tell me that they don’t care, that I’m not welcome there, and to go somewhere with a drive thru. When I simply state that I will quickly order and leave as you cannot LEGALLY discriminate those with disability with multiple medical exemptions from my doctor to not wear a mask. Utah senate has already passed getting rid of this ridiculous mandate, and these upset girls want to have a little power trip at work to try and gain some control, but you’re at work and doing something illegal and highly disgusting quite honestly is not the place to do it.
Great coffee! HOWEVER, The guy at the front Paul was the only one managing the front out of the 3-4 hours me and my boyfriend were there from 12-4 today. He has great work ethic! There was three people who were working in the morning (one guy and one girl), and didn’t help him at all. This was causing long lines for everyone else in the shop. But Paul handled it really well. Paul had a little help from 2 workers other than the 2. He took one break the whole time and the 2 left him up at the front even after coming back from lunch. The other 2 workers were screaming in the back room so loudly. It was really hard to focus and concentrate on my work. It was very sad to see someone do a ton of work all by themselves while the others didn’t do anything. Paul deserves a raise!
I've been a patron of the Liberty Park 'Beans Brew' coffee shop since it originally opened. While working at the Y.W.C.A. in 2000 ~ 2003 at the Main desk~ ✨️(before there was 211 info there was me!!!!)✨️ I had breakfast ~ lunch~ & single mom work ft & attending ft SLCC higher edu. I had another for the 3rd shift after my 8hr paying job! Shouldve bought stock in the company with my pennies earned! Thank you for getting me through those years B&B!✨️✨️ I won't buy my coffee anywhere else! My now adult girls buy their coffee there now that they are raising their kids & teenagers!! IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR ✨️⚓️✨️✨️♀️

The coffee was disgusting, made with coconut milk or not!!! The blond male coffee maker is too special to call out when he finishes making the order, where is the common sense on his part. The cashier can't seem to be bothered looking the customer in the eyes to have a conversation when placing an order, like I'm suppose to be able to understand what he's saying behind plexiglass, a mask and his head down. You might as well turn around and let the customer talk to the back of your head. Starbucks gets it right this place has a lot to learn from one of the chain businesses.
Went there with my adult child for coffee.. Hanna had a bad attitude. You’d think to be working at a coffee shop where you are maybe the first interaction with a person the worker would be pleasant.. Hanna is far from it. She is rude, no manners and makes a person want to choose violence. Her coffee making skills are less than par, idk if it was an off day but I won’t be back to chance it. I like my days filled will happy and that Hanna and her co workers are not it. Matter fact this beans and brews just sucks.
All there is to say is: Starbucks have a lot to learn from this guys!!! Let's start by the attention. Genuine smiles and care to assure your satisfaction. The menu items are made at the moment and the selection they have! Quick and delicious! As for quality of their ingredients... second to none! I just hope to see one of this business in the Denver metro area. I highly recommend a stop by this place. It won't disappoint in service and quality. (4-26-2020, 6:50am)
Still tastes fine and all, but it's customary to call out the order when it's complete. You guys weren't even busy, you even kept looking over at us sitting and waiting. Rude, poor customer service. We went in around 3pm on a Saturday, and instead of letting us know when our frozen drinks were ready, the employees were too busy having conversation with each other. After several other customers were helped, we had to go up and ask about our drinks.
Great location for coffee. I recommend grabbing coffee or drinks here and heading to the park! I had the London fog which was perfect. The sizes here are surprisingly massive. I was surprised when I got it but not unhappy! Pastries are good too.

The coffee is good! The staff was fine. What's not good is the made to order food. The breakfast burrito was terrible, likely microwaved, and expensive. The bacon, egg, and cheese croissant looked to have been a pre-made patty, also textured as if it were microwaved... AND both items were small, which may be a silver lining in this case. But the coffee is good. 3 stars for the coffee, maybe 4, zero for the food.
The coffee and food are good, not great. Kind of like a Dunkin donuts compared to really fresh and strong coffee houses, this is more sweet and savory with less emphasis on quality coffee. Also their app seems to always have problems and never scans correctly. I've also had a bit of sass from several locations, including this one.

I always love going into Beans and Brews the staff is very friendly and always gets me a yummy drink. And when I take my service dog in with me they give him a cookie treat and he loves those. Every time we passed that place now my dog turns up the sidewalk like he wants to go in the front doors cuz he wants another cookie treat. He remembers everything especially where he gets treats
I ordered online and picked up an iced latte with prickly pear syrup and I think the employee had to hold back laughter when they asked if I was picking up the pear latte. I don't blame them lol but don't knock it till you try it, it's not bad!!

Love it. Good drinks and great seating. This seems to be a chain out in Utah but we don’t have it back in Philadelphia so I enjoyed having something different. I had been meeting my aunt here over the course of a few weeks to do some trip planning and the workers were kind and not cranky when we stayed until close. I enjoyed their iced chai, iced mochas, and Lattes
Favorite local coffee shop in SLC. The lattes, both hot and iced are great. Would highly recommend. Sign up for the rewards program (code: BIKAM678948) to earn free drinks/food.

Good coffee pretty fast service only problem was I had to remind him of the cups Toppers I had to remind him of the sleeves that go over the cups and I had to get them and put them on myself but not everyone was like that it was a guy that time and my wife is gone in there and gotten really good service and she likes their coffee will go there again
Horrible customer service. Guy with long hair & black painted finger nails yelled at us for sniffing the blasted coffee beans. Our mask slipped below our sniffer for .2 seconds & he was already barking at us to pull them up. Also, he contaminated our coffee stoppers with his grubby fingers and was not complying with basic cleanliness precautions.
Great quick service, and the recent renovation of the place is lovely, with lots of seating, outlets, and free high speed wifi! this is my go to "WFH" spot, especially with its late night hours. A great spot to grab a coffee and walk around liberty park as we..

Beans is a wonderful place to meet friends, study or just take a moment. The staff is always very friendly and the coffee excellent. Indoor seating is comfortable and intimate, there is as wel lots of outdoor tables with spacious views of liberty part. This could be your next favorite place have a cup and relax.

This is a local gem, and I believe this is the original location. Best coffee I’ve had since my last trip to Manhattan. Baristas are kind and helpful, and they have a good variety of sandwiches and treats. According to my better half, the hot chocolate is much better than Starbucks. Beans and Brews for the win!
I just recently discovered this place and I love it. I love thier blended Mocha's. Perfect for a hot day. The croissant sandwiches are fabulous too. I also have bought some beans for my Saeco Magic Deuluxe Coffee Maker and I have to say they taste just as good to me as the more expensive coffee house's beans.
Great food and drinks. Jack was kind and had a bright, comforting aura.

Is a clean place. People are very nice. I had the Cuban sandwich and a frozen latte and the sandwich was amazing!!!! You can taste each ingredient in each bite. They use high quality products but the frozen latte was mostly milk and sugar... l could barely taste the coffee. Costco frozen latte is better.
Love it well more so when a particular lady is working. She always seems to remember and we never have to tell her she just does it perfectly. Always smiling like she enjoys her job!

I got the iced mocha and my boyfriend got the frozen mocha latte and we got a B-Cheesy sandwich. All were delicious, as per expectation. The service was fast and accurate, despite an overflowing capacity. Employees were kind and helpful, not missing a beat when the bathroom ran out of paper towels.

Fine coffee place. No loud annoying music but very little parking. Nice location. My companion ordered a toasted bagel but was only offered a wee bit of frozen butter to go with it, and we had to ask to have the table cleaned. I still give it 4 stars as the coffee and ambience are good.
Yea. Just yea. If you are a coffee drinker, come here. Great lighting and ambience. Everything is wood and has a great vibe. A great place to get work done and they have a great staff. Good prices on drinks too. Just all around a great place. Whenever I’m in the area, I’m coming here
Quick service every time and excellent deliciousness delivered, always a lovely treat. Parking is always very limited unfortunately and sometimes I have had to park down the street and walk a short distance.

The location is great, just across from liberty park. The service was fast. It felt v much like a Starbucks though. And my iced latte was extremely bitter and the honey wasn't mixed in. If you're going to the park and it's on the way I can see stopping, but other wise skip it
The coffee is fine, but certainly not remarkable. With so many other coffee shops in the area, I am not sure that I would recommend beans & brews as a 'must see' establishment. Definitely a convenient location to grab a quick cup of coffee while walking around liberty park.
It's okay but compared to other options in the neighborhood it's pretty bad. Coffee is acceptable to bad. They didn't have a toaster for their bagels last time I stopped in. I'll go there if I don't have time to drive somewhere else. Atmosphere usually good for studying
This is a convenient location and the service was crazy fast and very friendly. Only reason I did not give five stars was because there is no drive thru at this location and it is not doable here because of the spot it's in, but it does take away that convenince factor.
I've never been blown away by the flavor of their coffee but it's better than what I make at home. The staff generally super nice. I do love their breakfast sandwich which is a cheap filling meal. I don't like going there to read or study cause it's always too cold.
The thought of their coffee literally wakes me up in the morning! They are consistent between all stores, it always tastes like the last time I ordered!! My faves (all GREAT hot or iced) are the Mr. B's, Tan Mocha's, and the Macha Green Tea Frappe. Love love love!
I wanted something other than a cookie cutter Starbucks while visiting slc, this turned out to be very much a Starbucks like shop. The coffee was decent (more specifically I had a medium cafe mocha). But the cost was certainly on a higher end ($6 per drink).
My favorite time to go is early Saturday and Sunday mornings, it's not busy, the tea variety they offer (green tea and pomegranate is my favorite) and the local sugar cookies are a great grab before heading off to Liberty park for a job/walk around the park!
Meh. Third time in a row going there. Third time ordering a 20 oz soy latte with an extra shot. Third time getting slightly coffee flavored warm soy milk. Today it was nutmeg flavored soy milk. Other locations taste so much better. Go to one of those.
Coffee any one!! Beans and Brew has to have some of the larger size selections for a coffee shop. There food well its food I only get it when I don't eat not my personal favorite but it does the job

Drinks are just okay iv had better Americano in other coffee shops location the drink its self felt water down and odd tasting the shop its self was clean. Felt little rush at the cashier, parking lot is small and makes it hard to park your vehicle
Absolutely the best coffee shop around! And the baristas are amazing! Everytime I go they know what I want, make sure there are no changes to the usual order, and chat and take the time to get to know you while they make you delicious coffee …
Ordered a cortado (not on menu). Made exactly to proportion. Coffee is smooth not tangy. If you like coffee this is the place to come. Although I live in Seattle, hard to find coffee this good

Did not have coffe brewed to my taste. Their 'weakest' brew could be used for batter acid. Seems to be true at any coffee shop now. What happened to just plain good old fashioned coffee? Does anyone under 70 even know what real coffee is now?

Service is fast, when I go there (which is pretty much every morning) they always remember the coffee you want and how you like it! The people there are also pretty nice to. Though the only downside is that they don't have a drive through.
Constantly messing up orders. It’s non stop to the point that it seems on purpose. I don’t know why I keep giving them chances. I took a long break from ordering and finally felt safe to order. Immediate regret. There was one time I
Absolutely amazing, friendly staff. I love coming here to get an iced tan mocha and just relaxing in the lobby with my laptop. Sarah is such a sweetie and always chats me up when I come in. Great coffee. Even greater environment.
very rude don’t come here . they don’t make the drink you ask for , there not friendly at all. guy w long blond hair is very rude. i would have usually went off but i kept my cool w home boy. but yeah don’t recommend coming here
Convenient location and good coffee. Liked the coffee, the place is cozy, and the attention was fast. Prices are affordable. Only downside is, depending on the time, parking could be an issue. However, I still give them 5 stars.

Kind of a gritty inner city coffee shop w/ equal parts indigent & paying customers but still the staff is nicer than they let on & the coffee isn't half bad either. Better options would be 9th &9th but it works in a pinch.

Awesome coffee shop with a fun vibe to it! Great coffee and awesome employees! Check it out and grab yourself a cup of Beans & Brews coffee if you are nearby! The park is right across the street to enjoy that cup!
Delicious hot coffee, enjoy the views of Liberty Park and the Wasatch Mountains through floor to ceiling windows in a warm cozy inviting environment. They have snacks, sandwiches and custom crafted coffee brews
I love Beans. Try the Be Original sandwich if your hungry. Also I like the feeling that I'm kinda supporting something more local feeling instead of confirming/contributing to the monopoly that is Starbucks.
I went in early for coffee and the workers were just sitting down talking and when I ordered my coffee and was waiting for it they said they forgot to turn on the Frappuccino machine the worst service ever.
this place doesn’t have a drive-thru. regardless what google or whoever tells u. extremely happy that the employee remembered what i ordered. he could use a smile and b less grumpy

In the summer this is the best frozen coffee you're gonna find. It is right across from the park; forget about it, it's a no brainer! I just love a coffee slushie on a hot summers day walking in the park!
The staff here is always so friendly and nice. I always have a nice banter with whoever is behind the counter here. The dining area is awesome, too. They have great booths and accessible power outlets.
Pretty solid space as far as coffee shops go. Parking is very limited. Not much as far as cozy seating, but there are plenty of tables. It sits across from a beautiful park, so it's hard to complain.
Great coffee and nice people. Sad I have to take my coffee to go but maybe things will change soon. Definitely enjoyed the coffee though. Nothing better than walking in the park with a cup of coffee.
I was there last Sunday and the park was raining and it was a good place to stay dry. It's right across the street from Liberty Park so a nice place to have coffee after spending a day in the park
First time at the downtown location. Convenient spot, centrally located. Great service, great drink! It was around 5PM on a weekday and it wasn't busy. I got lucky finding parking on the street.
Their iced lattes are great. Accommodations leave a lot to be desired. Their bathroom requires a key, and when the baristas are busy, it can be a wait just to get the key. Parking lot is small.
The only authentic, meaning unpretentious mecca for coffee in slc..a place to have true friends and conversation...thnx sarah the manager for putting this vibe into our beans and brews

Went in on a whim around the middle of the day, as any other time, this location is usually busy. The team there definitely didn't disappoint. My drink was absolutely delicious :)
Good place to drink coffee. There is wife, and a lot of good places to sit inside, but having the Liberty Park next to you, it may be better to take you coffee and drink it there.
We had the iced mocha and a donut, both of which were amazing. The bathrooms were in good condition. The downside is that there are only a handful of parking spots for this shop.
Excellent customer service with efficient delivery of quality coffee. If you live in SLC and haven't been to this Beans and Brews, you should check it out as it is the original!

The coffee was aweful. Ordered a vanilla latte and other than it came to me cold instead of hot as I ordered, I'm not sure what they put in it but it wasnt vanilla. ...gag.
Coffee quality seems inconsistent as is the service. It's a perfectly adequate place to get a drink and sit for a while. It's almost exactly a local copy of Starbucks
What's not to love about fresh brewed coffee and exceptional customer service and if frozen drinks are your thing you can not go wrong with they're amazing frappes.
Can't wait for the inside to be opened up! It's vastly better than before inside. I hope they do more outside as well. And as always staff and products are great!

It’s a well-known fact that this is (by far) the best B&B in SLC. Staff makes an effort to know you and they represent what’s best about Salt Lake.
The quality of their coffee is kind of inconsistent, but it's never awful. Their foods are actually good, unlike what you can get at Starbucks.

I love these guys & i think its some of the best coffee in Salt lake. The Mr B is good stuff for iced, & the mocha latte is the stuff.
