After a pretty failed and horrible experience with Allied Health Physios in balmain (3 sessions, no improvement and a concerning health and safety issue as well as wiping out almost my entire annual health coverage in a week for a wry neck, which is a common ailment and should resolve within 48 hours - for more details see my review for them) I decided to try out one more physio in the area. I was unbelievably impressed by Louise. She is lovely and she is clearly extremely experienced and knowledgeable. The other physio required me to actually point out the problem spots (probably why I didn't get better as I am no expert in transferred pain and identifying root causes - I did go in already knowing I had wry neck though so was really expecting the expert to take over from there) whereas Louise was able to diagnose and locate the actual problem and she could tell me exactly which vertebrae and which rib connector was causing the issue without needing me to direct her. She spent a full hour with me and I walked out pretty much fixed (after a week of not being able to even drive or use my computer). She doesn't rely on machines and gadgets, just on her very clear experience and in-depth knowledge of the human body. It was also very clear that, unlike the other physio in the area, she was actually focused on getting me better asap rather than trying to get me to return as many times as possible to create return business. On the surface her fees are a little pricier than the other physio but: a. you are in a private room rather than being treated in a room that only has curtains in between you and the other patients which I found very odd b. paying someone a fee of 120 and getting a proper solution in one session was way cheaper than paying someone 90 a session and having to go back every 24 hours and getting no results. c. She spent a full hour with me and went through a few different methods and gave me lots of useful information whereas the other one I got about 20-30 min that was mostly used up by him trying out different machines and explaining the differences between fast and slow to me. Amendment: Actually her fees are exactly the same...I was comparing her initial consult fee to the returning consult fee from the other place. The other place also charges 120 for their initial consultation and she also charges 90 for returning consults. My only hesitancy in recommending her is that she will get more business and she will be fully booked when I want to make an appointment.

Louise is the best physio in all of Sydney! I travel here now all the way from Lindfield. Don’t even think about going anywhere else!
