This is a very unprofessional and horrible company as a whole. On the day my move was scheduled, the truck was late, the team that showed up was late, and one of the 3 movers never showed up. It took 40min for the unprofessional team lead with an attitude to confirm a replacement. None of this prevented the company from initially charging me for 3 people for the entire time though. The team lead refused to take direction regarding items that needed to be moved, how to load the truck, and then how to load into the storage unit where everything was going. It was very stressful and what needed to be completed was not done. At the end of the horrible experience I was on the phone with someone who insisted on doing a follow up to ensure everything was complete since the initial team did not fulfill expectations. I had declined the follow up at first, but the woman kept apologizing for my experience and saying things like “we want to make sure everything is moved.” The second team was much better although the time they were given was an hour later than the time I had scheduled while on the phone. We spent an entire hour taking things out of the storage unit to reorganize so that everything fit since the team lead on day 1 refused to take direction and has obviously never won a game of Tetris. I was charged $343 for the follow up in addition to being charged $131 more than what I was quoted for the move. I did call customer service and billing and had a very long conversation with a lady named October. I was supposed to have received a callback 3 days ago and have yet to hear from anyone. I did end up getting refunded a little bit due to the late start, the tardy driver, being down a mover, etc. on the first day. I requested a refund for the follow up since it was presented as a way for the company to make a wrong right. She insisted on listening to the recorded conversation I had on the day of my move before continuing our conversation regarding my charges. I haven’t heard anything from the company since. I would never use them again and I strongly urge others to use a better established company.

The employees who actually do the work were good - movers drivers customer support sales However, bellhop suffers from terrible management - i rate 1/5 stars for effectiveness and 0/5 for professionalism and responsiveness to customers. bellhop alerted me that the truck would was delayed for 3 hours at the last minute (3 hrs before my scheduled move) i let the know that the freight elevator was not available 3 hours later they then let me know the move could be postponed to the next day, but only at 8 am i had work the next day, and moving was not technically allowed until 10 am by my apartment management, so i asked for an afternoon move the following day bellhop then let me know, that the truck would not be available for an afternoon move i asked them to clarify why, since if my stuff was picked up at 8 am, the truck would be moving my stuff in the afternoon anyways, so how is it possible that i can't postpone my move to the afternoon i asked the customer support staff to put me in touch of the "truck manager," who never got in touch with me i then called customer support again, and left another message to have someone reach out to me so i could understand why they couldn't offer me an afternoon pick up, but again did not receive a call back i even left the same message with the sales team, as this was the second time i was using bellhop (and definitely the last time) and i had talked to the same person both times, to please have someone reach out to me, and never received a call back ultimately i missed work the next day, and movers - who were of course not informed of the delay in my move - had to work around a garbage truck that comes to the loading dock in the early morning using a regular elevator, as the freight elevator was not available before 10 am by building management overall, all i can say about bellhop was that the move happened - but i wish i hadn't paid the exorbitant bill they charge, particularly given their lack of professionalism and my level of stress during the move, i should have just moved my stuff myself for a third of the price.

My wife and I are retired and we have a small furniture business giving new life to old or unwanted furniture called Painted White Elephant. I recently had shoulder surgery and can't lift with my left arm. I really don't remember where I first heard about Bellhops, but I remember I downloaded the app. It has sat patiently waiting until this week when we needed several pieces of furniture moved from our working area, storage and garage to the second floor of our home. I called Bellhops and got a great Customer Service person who set everything up within a few minutes for the following day. I got email verification and within an hour I got an introduction email with the two team members assigned to help me. The following day, right on time the lead team member arrived and walked through everything I needed done. The two Bellhops had everything done in the arranged time and exactly as we asked. They bent over backwards to assure it was done correctly. Shortly after they left, I got an email asking me to evaluate each Bellhop and the overall service I truly am impressed with the Bellhops and the concept. I know we will use them again. The cost was minimal and the service outstanding. Thank you Colton and William.

I booked with Bellhop for a very easy move - unloading a pod in my driveway and bringing it 20 feet inside my house. I paid the standard two hour rate, the movers took about an hour, and everything seemingly went smoothly. Two days later I receive an additional charge for $120. When I called customer service they said the additional charge was for an extra hour of work aka they’re saying they spent THREE hours moving my belongings. I disputed this, called back, and the moving team lead (Esteban Mendoza) doubled down and insisted they were there for more than 3 hours and made up a completely fabricated scenario that “it took me 45 minutes to find the keys”. The keys? To what? Everything was literally al ready opened when they arrived. My advice to anyone using bellhop is to take a picture of your movers arriving and when they leave. Esteban is sticking to his lie that his 1 hour of labor took 3 and I had to pull teeth to get a refund for the extra charge (I will say the customer service rep was very nice and helpful). Seriously - what the hell? Be careful booking with Bellhop but ESPECIALLY abandon ship if Esteban Mendoza is listed as your mover, he is extremely dishonest.

We loved the service Bellhops provided! Ross and Cody were a great team and I am completely amazed with their service. Everyone I dealt with in person, through email, and on live chat (which was spectacular, as there are barely ever real people on the other side of those "live" chats) were so helpful, personable, and kind. I love the idea of Bellhops and their service definitely did not disappoint. We met the Bellhops at the storage unit to have a huge fridge and a washer and dryer loaded (which they did in 6 minutes), then they met us at the apartment to load a 3 piece sectional, a love seat, a king bed, and tons of boxes that contained books. When we reached our final destination, these young men unloaded these large items with a good attitude and a smile, asked where we wanted each piece place. They definitely worked hard and wasted no time as they Tetrised everything into the huge truck. I appreciated the upfront rates without hidden charges or travel fees (we were inside the area) and the rates for the Bellhops' work are totally reasonable. I will be singing their praises to anyone that will listen!

I am editing my review 8 months after using Bellhops. I realized after the initial move that many of my furnishings were damaged during the move. I am just now realizing the extent as we are in the process of moving to a house we just purchased. As we moved pieces of furniture, artwork and accessories from our short term rental we are finding extensive damage...Thousands of dollars! I can not stress how nice and polite this company is, their movers were very friendly, and punctual...But “friendly” doesn’t equate to experienced movers. Below is my original review. Very polite, they were on time and seemed professional. However, many of my furniture and accessories got damaged. None of the workers let me know. There is a five day window to file a claim...but Bellhops didn’t email me the claim form until the third time I called, by then it was too late. After the five day window, when unpacking and putting beds together I realized many additional items were damaged. It was not worth the money I paid. It will cost me a lot to replace and repair the items damaged. I would not recommend Bellhops

My friends and I were enlisted to help move my mother out of state. When we arrived on Saturday, she hadn't packed a single thing or even cleaned! The entire day was wasted cleaning/packing and generally hating life. By the end of the day, I knew we needed help but there were so few companies still open, much less would also be open and have an availability on a Sunday. I placed a last minute reservation online with Bellhops Saturday night. When two movers were confirmed for Sunday, we received an email with their information and pictures so we would know who to expect. Though we had moved a good portion of the boxes into the moving truck by Sunday afternoon, the movers repacked the entire truck to properly fit the last of the bulkier things that we couldn't move (heavy furniture like tv stands, desks, bed + frame, etc). They also made sure that none of the boxes would move around during transport. Absolutely lovely movers, it was easy to make changes/updates via telephone, website was extremely streamlined. No complaints.

Run. Run as fast as you can to another moving company. 3 years ago we used this company and had a great experience. We hired them in October 2023 for another move. The morning of moving day, they called us to tell us that one of our movers was injured and they wouldn’t be able to do our move until the following afternoon. The employee on the phone assured me that he had booked us with another team for the next day. The next morning, I tried to confirm that we were indeed on their schedule, since it wasn’t showing up in our dashboard. I received a text message telling me that, again, they didn’t have a team for us, and I could choose another date…2 or 3 days down the road. And, oh, they would also offer us a 10% discount for our inconvenience. I reached out to an independent, local mover (I called him at 5 AM and he answered his phone!) They got us moved that day. I will never use Bellhop Movers again.

needed some heavy furniture moved to our new home. Bellhop was referred to us. The truck showed up with 6 guys, 2 who did not work for Bellhop. Food trash was left in the street by the movers when they left. Most of the furniture was moved in good shape however our couch was moved out the front door without being wrapped or protected. I explained prior to the move that the couch was large and required extra handling to avoid damage as it was moved in to the house with great care due to tight clearances. i watched 2 guys pick it up and jam it thru, tearing the upholstery and damaging the wood. 2 end tables were also moved unprotected and received dents and scratches. i flied a claim with Bellhop Quality dept and they offered to reduce the move by $73 and recently offered a final settlement of $140. I will not be using them again or referring Bellhop movers to anyone else.

Outstanding service! I was lucky to have Jeffery, Ishmial, Kyle and Anthony move my belongings from one property to the other. They were on time, Professional, respectful, courteous and very careful with my furniture. They make sure they were all wrapped and protected. When we got to our destination, they placed my furniture in the exact spot I wanted them, therefore I didn’t have to move one piece. After they packed out everything, we did a final walk through just to make sure everything was in the right spot. These guys were awesome and I wish could give them more than 5 stars! I will definitely be recommending these guys every chance I get. Thank you Jeffery, Ishmial, Kyle and Anthony again.

So disappointed!! I scheduled a move for today. I noticed on the dashboard that the starting address was wrong so I contacted Bellhop to change it. They said they fixed it, but then the movers showed up at a trailer park, not our storage, thirty minutes away! Then when they finally arrive they do so WITHOUT A TRUCK. The movers themselves were very nice and this wasn't their fault. So after two hours of just waiting around with the movers it turns out they didn't have a truck available after we called several times, even the movers said never go through Bellhop and that they're a terrible company. Bellhop said they couldn't even guarantee a truck will be available tomorrow. NEVER AGAIN.

Bellhops Moving canceled our movers 1 HOUR before our appointment despite my call to confirm that morning, which they did confirm. They said they could "likely" get movers out the following day or the day after, which was not an option because the next day was our close of escrow. I ended up scrambling to find a uhaul and then myself and husband stayed up all night to move everything. I understand that things happen that cannot always be predicted but their lack of planning put us in a horrible position and their attitude/reponse was "oh well." I never leave reviews...positive or negative but this company made our move a nightmare and I wouldn't wish it on anyone!!

Property had water damage and was not properly wrapped by the "professionals" that loaded our truck. Then the "professionals" unloading our truck damaged multiple items, even let a couple items fall off the back of the truck/liftgate. The claims team is unresponsvie for days and then will give you a low ball offer. DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST OFFER THEY GIVE YOU. Fight them and provide them links to the property that is damaged, they will low ball you. Calling into them won't work because they'll just tell you they have no way of transfering you to any one who can acutally help. Maybe someone will reply back to this review before the claims team gets back to me.

I hired them and 3 guys were supposed to move my things on Sunday May 15th. Only 2 showed up and 1 of the 2 left early! They did not finish my move and had to get the rest of my things on that Tuesday. I was furious because they didn’t get the crib for my baby and we had to sleep on the couch. They were not supposed to charge me again and more money just came out of my account. They broke my daughters personalized chair from her 1st birthday and my $120 lamp. Someone was supposed to call me back last week and have yet to hear from anyone. Was holding today for 15 minutes and got hung up on. I am furious! I would never recommend these guys to anyone!

First let me say that Arturo was on time, polite and a very good mover. The guy who came with him (arrived 15 minutes late) was not at the same level. The Bellhop team never sent me a confirmation. I was charged $448 for a $293 quote for (2) unloaders for two hours. They left after two hours and one wasn’t even there the full two hours. PLUS my credit card was charged an additional $263.70. Support is terrible and was no help in correcting these errors. Arturo needs a raise and I need $149 back for fees never explained to me in advance plus the $263.70 charge for absolutely nothing. I will hire a professional for my next move.

Had an amazingly positive and smooth moving experience with them with two separate moves within one month, helping with a labor only move to help my friend get all her stuff loaded into a truck, and then helping me as well a few weeks later with a full service move all my belongings from point A to point B into my new home !! On BOTH occasions the entire team they sent out were super friendly and really high quality professional moving service !! Couldn't recommend it enough !! Hope to hire their services to belo my family members move in the future !! Great service and thanks again !!!:)

Arturo & Stephen were extremely professional, efficient, and honestly the hardest workers I have yet to see. They preformed the move in a timely manner and made sure everything was completely protected. Hands down would recommend Stephen & Arturo to anyone. Extremely disappointed after my service about one thing after googling bellhop and exploring their workers incentive: their pay isn’t what I expected at all, definitely thought they would get at least half of the move cost- which they should . These two definitely deserve more! Thank you for all your hard work, it’s much appreciated!

First off, I was super impressed by the level of communication---going through my inventory list my customer service rep was engaging and empathetic. Especially since I had to book this short distance move on short notice because of another company's failed promise. However, Jeff W. and Max W. were super helpful and empathetic as well. They took care of my things and overall Bellhops showed me how a moving company should be running! I'm currently working with another moving company long distance and it's nowhere to par with Bellhops. I wish I would've found out about you all earlier!

RUN AWAY. Do NOT use this joke of a company. We reserved a 2hr slot with 2 movers. One of those movers cancelled at the last minute, leaving us with 1 guy to unload a U-Haul filled with furniture and boxes, including items that REQUIRED 2 people. The company never sent another person to help. Instead, 3 of us helped the 1 mover get the job done (so we did the bulk of the work ourselves). When we called to rectify the situation, the company took $30 off the bill (a whopping ~10%!!). What if we had been elderly or disabled and couldn’t help? Unacceptable.

Two movers ruined my $1700 fridge and bellhop is offering a 1/4 of what it’s worth! They tried offering me $200! They have a HORRIBLE policy for if your personal item being damaged. They will give you 60 cents per pound of your item. Completely ridiculous. The “manager” of the clam in department was dismissive and sad excuse for a manager. Being a manager of Lowe’s I would/could NEVER let a customer be this unhappy or not take care of them. I’m appalled and disgusted with this company. DO NOT DO YOUR BUSINESS WITH BELLHOP!!!!

I had 2 guys booked for 2 hours, and 3 actually showed up because one was in training (you are not charged extra for them). They were so efficient and asked where to put everything before placing it down. They were so efficient and my crew was flexible. My complex had to push me moving in an hour and a half and my movers were very understanding and waited to clock-in until everything was ready to be moved from the POD to the apartment. Would definitely use them again with the price and quality!!

I had originally booked two movers to help unload a moving truck. The morning of the move, I got an email informing me that one of the movers called off, but that they would be able to find a replacement. Long story short, they never found a replacement, but they assured me the other mover would sill come. The first mover never came, so we ended up with no help at all. I guess this service would be okay if you didn't have a time constraint and had flexible dates. Unfortunately, we did not.

Bradley and Justin in Phoenix, AZ were awesome! I had to book hourly labor the night before arriving in town with a moving truck due to a last minute hiccup. Bellhop made everything very easy. Bradley contacted me in the morning to confirm my appointment and details about my apartment. He even offered to come early if I preferred. He and Justin were on-time, super professional, and friendly. My whole one-bedroom apartment was unloaded in under an hour. I would 100% use Bellhop again!

The team were very nice guys. Efficient. Knowledgable. Professional. They were careful with everything. I would recommend them to anyone needing movers. Bellhop was very easy to work with. There was an a/c issue at the house that the furniture was at so we asked to move our time slot back an hour so the house had time to cool down after the a/c was fixed and they had no problem with it. Their website is very user friendly. I will definitely use them again!

Bellhop Moving Is the moving company from HELL!!! At 5pm the day before my move they tell me it needs to be rescheduled. They rescheduled it for a day later so I spent the day with every thing packed up and ready to go. Then they cancelled the rescheduled time at last minute by email. What kind of company treats customers this way?? I wish I had read other reviews for Bellhop. Seems this is business as usual for this horrible joke of a company. Terrible.

I must say, this is an A+ moving company! Easy, friendly, and swift. Showed up early and had all the right equipment. They did more than I expected in the short hour and a half. It was more than 100 degrees out and the two guys busted @ss. I don't plan on moving for quite some time, but if I do, I'm calling Bellhops. Not to mention how kind they are to seniors, this company really gives back! Thanks, Bellhops, keep up the good reputation!

Justin, Arturo and Reid were great!! I used this service in Vegas and requested a last minute service for my family as their original movers canceled. So overnight in less than 14 hours I contacted Belllhops and set up an appointment for next morning. I knew there was a chance would not work out due to short notice request but was grateful Bellhops and they guys delivered!! Thank you for making a stressful situation so easy to deal with!

Darius M. and Matthew L. helped us move a very heavy piece of furniture from our upstairs bedroom to the driveway. The task was very difficult and complicated but they were both great at problem solving and got the job done in a timely manner. STAY AWAY! This company tried to reschedule our move within a week of the CONTRACTED move date. Stated they didn’t have a truck or staff to complete the move. They could care less that our current house was sold, and new owner was taking possession on the date they wanted to reschedule. Very unprofessional, don’t fall for the flashy web site and tech that they try to sell as a benefit.

They were right on time and were like supermen!!! Jeffrey, Ishmial, Patrick, and Max were careful with everything delicate and able to move the heavier furniture pieces with ease. The lift on the van allowed for even more care of my antiques. I can't say enough about what great movers they were. From beginning to the end they made it the best moving experience I've had.

Horrible. Hired a crew to load contents of our home for a cross country move. The "professional" crew never used the provided furniture pads. Most of our furniture was damaged as a result. I submitted a claim form and now am being ghosted by BellHop. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WARNING: CREWS ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL MOVERS. STAY AWAY. HIRE KNOWN LOCAL MOVERS INSTEAD.

Darius and Christian were very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job moving valuable antiques from one room to another. They both wore masks and practiced social distancing throughout the process. They were highly efficient, finishing our move about 20 minutes early! Luke, Ryan and Jake were phenomenal! They arrived right on time. Loaded my U Haul in an hour and 15 minutes then unloaded the U Haul and my SUV in under 45 minutes— shaving off 45 minutes of my bill. I really appreciated their help, efficiency and politeness during my move, I couldn’t have done it without them! Thanks gentlemen!

On time, professional, friendly, very careful with my furniture, etc and had me moved from a 3rd floor apt to 2nd floor apt, approximately 19 minute drive to the new place within my allotted 3 hour time frame! Everything was great! From the booking process to actual move in day. Our movers, Darius and Steven, were great! Darius communicated well beginning the night before the move to morning of the move. Both had a very positive attitude and made the whole experience easy. I would recommend Bellhops to everyone!

Rescheduled 5 times! None of which was my choice since I didn’t have a choice. By the time the movers came on Sunday I had already moved most of my stuff myself because it was clear that I had to since I only had the weekend to move. The movers that work there are awesome! That was the good part.

They do not care about your belongings at all. We had quite a bit of damage to our belongings. When we filed a claim, it was not even close to the value of the damage. They will only pay so much per pound and do not pay for the repair or replacement. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!
