"I was not impressed by Bellville Station Shopping Centre"
"Gather a leka amount of money go here spend 30mins-1hr max purchase a few items not for yourself but ther are ppl who doesn't knw exactly knw where this diamond mind is "
"If you're looking for a bargain and not very materialistic then Durban Road is the place to be"
"Firstly no police insite"
Very chaotic and unsafe area. Make sure all your valuables are stashed safe. Be vigilant and alert as you walk around because besides normal business, there is too much scrupulous activities in every single corner. If you wish to purchase cheap or fake affordable products this is your place. The only advantage is being able to negotiate the price, but you will barely be allowed to return any purchased product. There's a ShopRite and Pick n Pay both adhere to Covid regulation. The prices are quite affordable and the customer service is not bad, but could be improved. Employees have a tendency of yelling as though they are in some public meeting. An attitude to drag feet while customers are waiting to be assisted. A professional conduct goes a long way. Rather buy food inside Pick n Pay or even ShopRite, but make sure you check the EXPIRY date☝️ If you decide to buy food on the pathway streets vendors do so at your own risk or discretion because some are very clumsy.
I was not impressed by Bellville Station Shopping Centre. The place is constantly overcrowded, with homeless people roaming around, begging for money or food. The parking is unsafe and limited, with no security guards or cameras to monitor the area - only local spurious characters claiming to watch your vehicle. The stores around the shopping centre sell highly questionable merchandise. The security presence in general is low, and I did not feel safe walking around the shopping centre. Bellville Station Shopping Centre is not a place I would recommend for repeat visits, and I will personally consider it to be unsafe. I give it two stars out of five, unfortunately.
Gather a leka amount of money go here spend 30mins-1hr max purchase a few items not for yourself but ther are ppl who doesn't knw exactly knw where this diamond mind is ... If u got brains then make use of this location 2 make double ur money for ur time Just dnt be 2greedy on profits start small every 50-100 for profit per item is profit u didn't have think of it tht way U gona ask 2much on 1item best believe thts a loss ain't nobody gona take it every1 always lookn for the best price so think smartly outa the box ND make the moola
If you're looking for a bargain and not very materialistic then Durban Road is the place to be. Do not go with little kids. Go in a crowd of minimum 3 people. Don't park in the area where you need to pay. Try and park as close to the entrances as possible. Go to a few shops before settling on something as all the shops have more or less the same but different prices.be sure to check the stitching, discolouration and thoroughly check the products out before purchasing.
Firstly no police insite. You have to walk without a handbag or it will be taken away from you. The shops are asking high prices on intimes from January. The sock in n pack was r40 now r240. The carpets that were r100 is now r150. Please be safe and at all times look around you if you are being followed. Its seriously not fun of worth going to bellville station shopping anymore. But please be safe. I dont even want to give a star.
It is always an experience going to see the traders I visit everytime I do a market run. There is hardly ever any free parking so, secure your car in the paid parking areas for less parking stress. Dont come out looking a mess as the hair people will be all over you offering to fix that right up. Also, I was robbed here so please be vigilant at all times. Other than that, mask on as it is always packed.
Way too much people and not enough security, there's a lot of dodgy looking people and if they get the opportunity they will strike while the iron is hot. It's always been a problem but nothing gets done about it. The station security do not patrol outside the station and if they see something happening outside the station will they help?
Vehicle Traffic: Dense Business Driver Courtsey: Very bad driving. People Traffic: Quite a lot of movement. Safety: Avoid evenings and mornings alone. Close your windows when you drop of pick up someone at those times. Be vigilant! Be strategic when you park. Taxi Behavior: Quite Bad. Shopping: Varieties
There is a great affordable salon opposite this shopping center - for those who want to look good on a budget. Nails were R200 and pedicure 150. Oh and brow shaping was R30. They also do people's hair but I didn't get my hair done. Please keep in mind that this area isn't fancy. So, be vigilant.
Dirty place it has changed over the years it's very crowded and smelly. Somali run that place now and it's a mess. Drugs and crime is very high and they drive and just park on the road. Shame a place that used to be good and clean now it looks like those top African countries
The shopping experience was dimmed as the area is not safe. Lots of people get pick-pocketed and robbed at this centre. They do have paid parking space, so your vehicle may be safe, but the security of centre is little to non-existant.
Not a big fan as its always congested. If u go with little ones, best to hold their hand at ALL times. Ur kid can be gone in a second! Be vigilant for scoundrels. Best to go in a group. I wouldn't advise women to go alone at all.
You will find talkies ,t-shirts,jeans,socks,usbs,charges etc at a low price but value for money. Its just always full at the streets to walk . Very hard to find parking. But there is a paid parking area opposite the mall
The place is good you find almost everything you think of, most of the time there will be bargains However security outside is becoming a big issue now as the has been a lot of reported pick pocketing
Some Somalians make the road very risky to drive on; their cars parks and stops anyhow on the road with no warning. I always have to activate my 4 eyes, otherwise I'll be leaving with a bashed car.
Can get various things from clothing house materials train, taxi, bus, food and many more ,street vendors also available. The area is not as safe as used to be always be alert in and around this area
Very busy and don't feel safe at all when in and around there. Keep your bag close to you and be vigilant. Great prices at the stalls outside and a variety of shops to choose from inside the mall.
I didn't know that they close shop from 13:00-14:00. Actually disappointing when you specially went there for something specific and had to turn around. Overall shopping experience is great.
convenient for bulk shoppers who do small businesses, but it's not a safe place to shop alone if you're not using private transportation. Be vigilant when walking around these parts
We do: FIBREGLASS and MARBLE LITE NEW and OLD POOLS. Tree felling;stump removal; Bush clearing and Trimming. For more information CALL or WHATSAPP.
I went only to crusaders for what i was looking for, i don't actually like to go to bellville anyway, bellville is dirty and is too much crowded.
Great place for getting your essentials. Crime rate is walking on needless so be careful when you hold your personal items. Good place to shop
Great place to find bargains. It is the only area in Cape Town where one can truly haggle for best price. Shops are all Somali-owned.
Great layout. Very nice place close to transportation as well, so it's convenient just wish it were wheelchair accessible
Value for money. You pay much less here than at any other trading outlets. The only secure parking costs R11 per hour
Good shopping malls for clothing, bedding and many more every cheap.. This place is always crowded but very nice
This is has become one of the terrible places to be it's nolonger safe, there too much pick pocketing there
Environment around is dirty and people drinking in the street. Hi crime rate for robbery and pick picketing
Very dangerous especially for people who are alone or with children. Would not recommend for a day out.
If you wanna go for business or cheap clothes then go here and please clean up it really stinks
Getting a parking is the problem When you do pay the parking metered attendant to avoid s fine
The mall can definitely improve and well we could found what we looking for just a bit crowded
Its dangerous there with minimum police petroling around. Always smelling bad and dirty water.
It's just too busy and crowded for my liking .but you will get everything you can think of
This is the most disgusting place ive ever been. And the taxis control the whole area.
very nice and local transportation is easy to get it. and now they try to get clean
Its very nice also they are doing rinovations and also new shops. I like the place.
Not the cleanest place to be at. Parking is an issue with vagrants roaming around.
Would not recommend a new person to do shopping as the pick pocketers are too much
Driving here is a nightmare. Somali Backies and trucks occupy every corner.
To little police & many crooks...be safe walking or shopping there.
Never feel 100 safe shopping here. Security needs to be jacked up.
Environment is so crowded and not easy to find safe parking
Once again, hold onto your everything. Safety is important
Area dirty and too much thuglike people due to taxirank.
Foreigners are taking over no lwa and order there
Big queue , and slow service the time I was there
You can buy clothes for your kids on a good price
More visible security needed please. Thank you.
It's good but I wish trains transport systems.
Not bad but always stay alerted.... …
Even though it's full, the service is quick
Crime on highest level criminal heaven
Busy shopping center but looks unsafe
Very safe and so nice friendly people
Goods are cheap but parking is bad
Safe shopping but over crowded.
It's always busy
