I was recommended to use Bendigo by business owners using the 'profit first' system because they're fine with business having multiple accounts, link "barefoot investor" but for businesses. Fast forward 18 months.... Bendigo Bank closes almost all the accounts without notice and completely ignores my secure message inside online banking asking what is going on. Wait a week and call this branch, my branch. They can't help and if I want to leave... I do, then they can't look into what went wrong. I suggest that given all the marketing effort Bendigo Bank invest in they might want to find out why this sort of thing repels customers - whether or not I decide to stay. Silence from the other end of the phone. What a waste of time and effort. Back to looking for a really good business bank because Bendigo Bank is not it.

Don't refund scams. Poor communication. I've been with this bank for decades, and they couldn't refund a scam because it occurred through the wallet on my phone. They were slack with communicating this to me. I spoke to so many different people, and they all said conflicting things. They were not proactive about solving the issue and had no empathy, just a hard no. Also, having a savings account or term-deposit with Bendigo has been a nuisance... they are really not willing to give decent interest rates without a fuss. All in all, a hugely disappointing experience and very inconvenient outcomes.
