Where do I start? We have had ‘delivery’ today and it’s been a complete mess following on from the previous invoice. wrong bed ordered and delivery mistakes. At no point in the sales process did anyone asked us anything about ability to deliver to a particular room or asked us for any pictures or measurements. The delivery guys turned up today to find that not only could they not get the headboard for the Super King in the room but nor could they get the mattress. We now have a mattress in our lounge and a headboard in the hallway (and a base in the bedroom). Furthermore we paid for disposal of two mattresses a king and a single but we were not given the required green bags that they needed to take them so they are also still in our house cluttering other rooms. The delivery guys said that this was common with Bensons who they said usually don’t bother to check if the beds can be delivered to the required rooms etc which given they are a bed company is quite shocking that they don’t check or ask for anything. Got to be honest the whole process has been a shambles from start to finish and we are now left with a part bed and large furniture cluttering our living space and two unwanted mattresses. When I complained they refused to help with anything regarding the bed they couldn't deliver to the room. Couldn't recommend them less to be honest.

Everything was spot on, from the initial purchase in store (which was not cheap) to the delivery with the 2 delivery guys (Dave and his co-pilot) who were extremely helpful and did an excellent job. After waiting weeks for delivery my wife and myself (79/76 respectively) had to get assistance from our daughters to strip the bed and all the covers/sheets in preparation for the new mattress to arrive, imaging the disappointment to find after removing the plastic cover to find the mattress had marks on it, which must have been done before the protective cover was put on. We thought Benson for Beda was a reputable company but after ringing Customer Services to point out the problem to be told all the lines were busy (highly unlikely) we were 100 in the queue and someone would ring us back on the number we were ringing on. 'Never happened', now going to cancel the order and return the goods ASAP.

Bought iGel Advanced 2500 Pillow Top Kingsize mattress after lots of time and information provided to me in store by David. I had only called in to browse but liked what I saw and tried out. Went back next day to check again and retest my shortlist of 2-3 mattresses, cos all the info can be overwhelming in one go. David was knowledgeable and patient both times. I spent more than I intended to but having been disappointed by another manufacturer's bed, which I bought in December (and it's going back), I thought it is a great investment: we spend so much time in bed that over time I know I'll get my money's worth. Delivery was quick and efficient, delivered on time and with no fuss to my bedroom. Already the difference is amazing... so snuggly (I'm 11st and got the medium). It is a thick mattress though so check your fitted sheets, and it also feels great just to sit on.

Ordered our dream bed after recently moving house, we realised later we had been charged for pillows which they said were free. Still awaiting refund! After waiting 1 long month for the bed, my wife took the day off to wait for the delivery people. The delivery people went to our old address some how as they had put the wrong address now as it was on finance, they put the old address instead of the new address. Delivery man wouldn't bring the bed a mile away when i gave him the new address. Just had phone call from the shop who except full blame, now we have to wait another 6 days until they deliver. Not very happy as we just got rid of the old bed as we were expecting the new one. Looks like a week of sleeping on the sofa and on the floor. Not really impressed. No customer service what so ever.

I ordered a super king size bed from Bensons for Beds Guiseley. This was my third purchase from this store. From start to finish the customer service was excellent. I received great advice and the delivery was on time and efficient. Although it took several weeks from the order to delivery, I was kept informed through the entire journey and given options to change the delivery date and time. The installation team was great and took great care as the staircase was a little tight for the new mattress but they did it with no damage. They noticed that the headboard was damaged in transit and immediately ordered a new one for me so that I wasn't inconvenienced at all. I had confirmation the same day of the replacement delivery. Excellent experience and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

EDIT. They decided to waive the restocking fee, but only after considerable distress to myself.Horrific experience. Do not use this SCAM company. I spent £2800 on a bed set and igel mattress that they could not get up my stairs. Fair enough. I went back to the store and picked another, actually £200 more, and was told they will not re deliver until I pay £165 re stocking fee!. I said cancel the whole thing then, and they said that would cost me 20%! What a horror show. I thought paying in full was the right thing to do, I am a fool and now completely stuck. Customer Service refused to waive the £165 re stocking fee. Please don’t fall victim to them, go elswehere.

My bed isn't coming for about 3 months they didn't ring up up to tell us this poor overall customer service . Didn't even get an email with my e recient On months down the line having to chase information up myself. Now told i can't cancel my order as its too long a wait because they now keep 20% of the money i paid . They also didn't tell me about the grace period were i can get my money back. When i rang up to chase it up they told me the grace period is over! Poor customer service terrible in fact. Asked for email for my order to be resent to me didn't receive that its now a month after Really terrible service. My view id look somewhere else

I enjoyed my visit here . The access doors are all glass and slide apart to give you access to the store. It’s all flat and level and there is space to get right around the shop easily. A little tight in one or two places tho . A great selection of beds . There are stairs leading up to the first floor where there is another showroom , and for those with wheelchair/pushchair there is a lift in the corner. It will take 400 kg so no problem there.It was very quiet in store when I visited and in fact I never even saw a member of staff!! No wc facilities or restroom

Don't believe anything the salesperson tells you. Told me all I had to do was attach headboard and footboard to bed frame which is why i agreed to the purchase. This was a downright lie. Also said the bed had fixed slats - also a lie. You need to fit slats yourself into those plastic holders that I specifically told the salesperson, Ian, I did not want. Went into the store. Staff couldn't have cared less and obviously didn't believe a word I said. Offered to arrange for someone to put bed together but I would have to pay.

I love the girls in store they are so friendly and helpful however Benson's as a whole and their internet service I have not been happy with whatsoever. It's taken just over a month to sort everything out and my delivery dates have been changed due to internet sales cancelling the order but the store reordered for me. Just a bit all over the place with who knows what and passing blames onto other sections of the business! Not the best place to go if you're wanting a quick sale

Placed an order for one of the most expensive beds in the store. Got a call the day before it was due to be delivered saying they had forgotten to order the headboard - two weeks later and after chasing for updates we get told it will be another 2 weeks. Over a month of pillows falling down the back of the bed - great. The only reason I bought this bed was because of the oversized headboard....they couldn’t care less.

If I could give 0 I would. I have never known such terrible service from any shop anywhere. Do not use this company!!! I ordered a mattress in December, they delivered the wrong one and I am still waiting for a refund despite the fact after several calls to the store to rectify the situation I returned the incorrect mattress to the store on January 9th.

When I purchased my mattress I paid extra for my old one to be taken away, first of all the driver said it was not on his paperwork to collect and then said the store should have given us a bag to cover the mattress (which they didn’t). We had to arrange ourselves at short notice to get the old mattress picked up and disposed of.
