4/5/23, Thursday, 1030H: 2nd time datang sini.. water park.. last time in Feb 2023 (refer write up below this posting - saya tersalah posting last time kat Bertam Water Park Resort).. This time, saya agak terkilan sebab more rides closed.. lazy rizer tutup, the challenge park tutup plus yang previously 3 rides.. still tutup! All the main bridges in the water park pun barricaded and x boleh digunakan jadi moving about in the park pun terbatas and perlu jalan more than before. So i think ini suatu perkembangan yang tak berapa bagus. At least, please state in the facebook ka.. official site ka.. instagram ka.. tampal kat kaunter ticket ka.. so people know what they are open and what are closed and is it worth the prize. Also kalau dah tahu few rides tutup, bagi la diskaun on the ticket price. Edited 1657H: Lazy river, challenge park, bridges are open in the afternoon, after 2pm.. maybe kekurangan kakitangan. Should have open since the morning though. Cat / paint peel off in the ponds, hand rail cat kaler hitam dan bila tgh hari.. panas and bahaya to org yang datang pegang. Kalau nak makan, makan lah kat souq di luar sebelum kaunter ticket as price of food in the water park.. agak mahal. Previous posting: 27/2/23: Pukul 10 am dah ada few yg beratur kt depan pintu masuk. Alhamdulillah, urusan masuk cepat. Nak ke kaunter ticket, akan lalu di beberapa kedai mkn berkonsepkan souq market. Byk kaunter ticket buka. Cuma kalau boleh, ada dedicated kaunter untuk yg beli ticket secara online lebih baik, express kaunter gitew. Untuk galakkan org beli ticket online. Nk sewa baju mandi burkini pun ada beb. Nk pakai locker, rm20 kena beli kad. Kad boleh top up dan guna untuk urusan jual beli kat situ. Tapi jgn risau, boleh juga beli pakai debit or kredit kad. Bagusla. Kalau x habis pakai, nak keluar boleh minta refund balik balance. Semua dpt balik. Tempat mandi and tandas besar dan cantik. Selesa untuk pengunjung. Tempat lepak dalam tu atas konsep sapa cepat dia dpt. Saya mai awai, dpt la amik satu pondok dekat dengan entrance lazy river.. ada tirai boleh tutup. Boleh solat dlm tu sekali. Ok la nak salin baju etc senang. Ada 3 ride yang x buka.. (sebab ni la x dpt 5 bintang) x sure kenapa.. katanya ada mtce. Pelampung dalam tu free of charge.. nice.. boleh ja amik dari mana2. Rides dan attractions dalam tu ada untuk semua golongan umur. Ada kolam air panas jugak.. bila anak2 dan ketaq2 sejuk.. bawak p situ.. fuuh.. lega. Kedai roti dlm tu sedap.. esp choc twist and croissant and lemon tea. Overall.. berbaloi lah.. dengan harga tiket dan apa yg ada kt situ.

I went because they were having a student promotion for IPTS and IPTA student just for RM 30. Which is an amazing thing because one student card allows up to 4 additional people. The place allows you to rent swimwear and even have a shop to purchase things to elevate your waterpark experience. The locker rental cost about RM 50 and you will be refunded RM 20+ before you leave. You can fit about 2 backpacks in one locker. The female toilet is very spacious and clean which is a plus plus, although they only have one hook behind the toilet door and only 2 benches for you to place your items. Love the vibes of the place and the water slides especially. They even have a section where it is safe for kids to swim and ride down the slides. The wave doesn't happen continuously and depends on the DJ on when to start. The metre goes up to 1.7m The reason why I'm giving it a 3 star is because; 1. The park doesn't reinforce guests to rinse before and after entering the pool, hence this can lead up to less then ideal waters. 2. The ground crew staff does not really communicate with the up crew staff in some rides. The ground staff won't alert the up staff that a guest has safely made their way down, in which the up staff kept sending guest down without waiting. This eventually led up to an incident where 2 different guest clash with each other on the ride down. Thankfully nothing happened to both of them but a serious injury could've happen. 3. Maybe some of the rides is under renovation, but the lazy river doesnt feel lazy at all. Underneath the hot sun, you are just stuck floating at one place for 10+ mins while the crew just sit and stare at you. At one point, one friend have to sacrifice themselves and pull their friend so that they started moving down the lazy river. Lazy river more like kerja river. 4. The stairs You have to carry the pelampung up the stairs (Thank god they are lightweight). The stairs are made out of metal and when the sun hits it, you're no longer playing in a waterpark but the floor is lava. It's even sandy at some parts. So you have wet feet + hot surface + sand = u might need a foot spa after this. It's ok once you got up to the surface but imagining climbing 4+ flights of stairs just for a less than 2 min slide is kinda meh. Overall had fun. Won't really comment on the food cause its ok too. Delicious when hungry. Maybe it's a new waterpark thats why there's still many room for improvement. You also have to pay for parking. RM 6 for me. There's surau too

Pro and cons during my visits. (WATERPARK ONLY) PROS - PR dan CS yg baik bermula dr parking area,entrance area, ticketing area, sampai lah ke tempat locker. 5star. - Luas dr jangkaan. - tandas/bilik salinan yg wow. Hats off lah. - promotion! Sebelum ni nak masuk pikir byk kali sbb harga mcm terlalu overprice. Tp dgn promotion yg ada mmg worth the money during this economy crisis( my economy to be exact). Kids below 5 are free to go! - Coffee! As a coffee addict. I greatly approve the taste! - kawasan kanak2. Byk review i baca, too extreme for kids. But nahhh. It mostly kids friendly. Ada byk slide utk bebudak main. While mak-bapak boleh join sekali. Kalau malas or letih, boleh lepak coffee table dekat area situ. Cons - SAFETY! Kids area need a lookout/Safeguard/lifeguard dekat atas, kawasan yg ada byk shower and water sprout tu. For f sake, tempat tu tinggi utk bebudak. Its kids friendly to be honest but not safety. Yes parents also need to be a lookout, palang besi also bertutup. But as a safety officer off duty. This issue can close down your water park if got incident. Bebudak berebut kot utk naik slide yg tinggi tu. Looker dekat atas is a must, no excuses! - Locker ticketing. Boleh kot tukar dari beli sewaan tiket loker di coffee cafe, tukar ke kaunter tiket ke so waktu beli ticket masuk boleh roger utk locker sekali, or buat je 1 small counter depan locker area. (If dekat ticket counter mmg ada locker card rental but i yg tak tahu. I minta maaf okay) - Maintainance. Ada beberapa area yg perlukan regular maintainance. A hazard detected for mold caused slippery. - ada beberapa area yg tutup. So tak puas juga main dgn anak2. So kena repeat balik nnt. Overall - Fun place, kids friendly, family friendly. - takmau touch psl food price sbb i think its a fair price inside waterpark or themepark. If visitor rasa mahal, boleh makan kt kiosk@bertam, waktu balik. - will i come back? Yes! Definitely!(if got promo lagi ) - Giving out 3star rating for safety issue. But as tempat tarikan yg baru, masih byk penambahbaikan yg boleh dilakukan dan safety yg paling utama. Will change rating if there is improvement on my next visits. P/S :- thanks to mr.Zam at parking area, for giving me a great pr and great first impression.

We finally made it to @bertamsoukandwaterpark! These are the pro and cons for you to consider: Pros: 1. Despite it being a public holiday and being so crowded, it is still easy to find your space to put your stuff. 2. You can see the line for each ride from below so it is easy for you to choose the ride with a shorter line. And despite the long line, the wait is not too long. 3. There are "extreme" rides for kids too, which is much smaller and slower than the original. So kids don't have to settle with just water slides. 4. The wave beach session is more frequent and the wave is quite big. There is plenty of floats for everyone and its free too. 5. There are plenty of lockers, changing rooms & toilets within one area. Cons: 1. The food has many varieties but the service is a bit slow. The price is a bit high at RM10 to RM22 and the taste is so-so. There is a cafe too but we didn't go there so can't really comment. 2. The water is a bit dirty and maybe high in chlorine. I felt like there is something coating my skin after a while spending time in the water. Some tips for those planning to come: 1. Don't bring any food as it will be confiscated at the entrance. 2. All of the payment for tickets and food use cashless transactions so there is no need to bring any cash. This is much safer as you can bring your phone and cards with you using the waterproof phone pouch. 3. If you come during a public holiday when there's a huge crowd, go get your lunch early as the food may be sold out fast especially the ones cheaper than the other.

A beautiful resort hotel. The whole resort unique decoration will amaze you especially at night. Breakfast menu has a lot of local and western veriety inclusive small sushi section and I love the brand new coffee machine!!! Limited local and western à la carte menu available for lunch and dinner. We came back to hotel around 21:45, but restaurant staff still entertain 12 of us for our late dinner. Small things that can make better customer experience at the resort; 1. TV guides - which channel is available 2. Phone guides - totally feel disconnected with this luxurious hotel when you can't even call the operator or front office via room phone. 4. No in-room dine menu nor all other hotel facilities highlights info available. 3. Swinming pool guides - don't let your staff going around the pool chasing people with not proper attire when hotel failed to put up any proper guides. Anyway, we feel welcome. Staff here are helpful and we did extend our stay!

This month of July 2023, they make promotion for government staffs and badly this month also they changed to closed on Friday which too many people on Saturday (weekend for all north states)...We came at 9am and the car queue so long..Only at 11am we can just entered...We need to line up til the parking area before entrance. From bag checking to ticket counter we spent almost 1 hour sweating like a river. After getting inside the waterpark, u can imagine that we even didn't have place to seat for relaxing..we can ride only 2 extreme games which very long queue. Some food in restaurants also sold out. The changing room so dirty. I hope management reschedule back operating on Friday so people from Kedah can come on their's weekend. The place is beautiful i can say but the management really needs to improve their services. Indeed.

The water park is just the right size, not too big, not too small. They got good rides, and kids of heights 1.2m above allowed to hop on. The thrill rides on spot, similar to vuvuzela in sunway lagoons, and new ones too. As for younger kids below 1.2m, they surely will have fun at kiddies waterpark rides. They got day slots and we tried the evening slot, from 6 to 10pm. Super fun with no scorching sun...despite its night rides, the place is brightly lit and we enjoyed the human made waves which play on scheduled time. Really fun there.. Next they have eatery zone where they serve scrumptious meals and snacks... such as grilled chicken, chicken rice, western meals, goreng² meals like mee goreng mamak, nasi goreng. Bakery with their pastries and buns available too... waffles and croffles prep in spot available.

No waiting or queue when buying entrance ticket. visitor please remind not to bring and snack or food as they not allow for outsider food. Please bring the sun block at least 50 power as the weather here is extremely shine. juice around rm10, food around rm10. mostly western food available but not much people having food there as people just want to enjoy the water activity without throwout. water clean, lifeguard available, please bring proper swimsuit and burble ring. need take around 15 minutes for the excited game. it's hot... I visited around 11pm...maybe u can try come around 3pm. car park is open space, soon will be charged by hour. park with your own risk now. annual pass is only rm200

Not recommended -not so much variety of food sold inside the waterpark area -food price so expensive, one big bottle of mineral water costs RM9 ! -can't bring food from outside, they checked each of our bags and forcefully took away chocolate@snacks and they didn't even give it back to us when we left the place, my dad was so annoyed -ticket price so expensive, -before we left, the staff there would cut our wristband, when its my mom's turn, he mistakenly tried to cut my mom's bracelet and realized it soon like wth?! what a terrible experience -water depth not too deep (for all water slides) , for adults like my dad, he was disappointed Not worth it . Save your money

Hi, i was there on the 3rd Dec 2023 and I want to share my feedback that the park could be more flexible. I brought a pack of bread for my daughter, who is a picky eater. I understand that outside food is not allowed, but the humanity is very low here. We took the food and ate at the first nearest bar table at the entrance, also making sure not to bring the food into the theme park. It's not that we didn't buy food from the stalls; we did. It's just a pack of bread for my little girl. Sadly, even Sunway Lagoon is more flexible than this. I wanted to share my experience because it left me with a bad and negative impression of this place. Will I go again? Yes, if this never happened in the first place.

Not too far from George Town, to the north on Balik Pulau, just half hour away, but far enough from Design Outlet to save me from my wife's shopping. The park is smallish for teenagers, but perfect for my 6 and 4 year old to run around and disappear from view and momentarily cause me and my wife to panic. Overall, you get what you pay for. The park is not too big, but clean and new. The payment system using a e-wallet card, that doubles as your locker key works well. Just don't lose it Food and drinks are not allowed, except mineral water. But my idea of smuggling lime juice in my used mineral water bottle got busted by seeds and pulp...

Used to be one of the best water park in nothern. But it was not well maintained. Water is cloudy, flooring with epoxy paint peeling off and some part was slimy, debrises in water and drainage next to play area, rusty metal parts. One of the bigest slides was closed. Crew at the entrance and counter; 1. should inform guest if they wants to rent locker. Most of us, 1st timer, did not realise that we need to ask for locker card with deposit rm50. Then que again after u have entered the park. 2. Be polite to your guest (some lf them). Should be trained how to handle excited kids when they come to water park.

The big kids needed a break. We agreed because the place is quite new. A little overpriced even though it's quite okay for the elderly. Nothing beats Escape's free entry for senior citizens. Hehehe. Parking is near to the entrance. Should provide extra door hangers in the shower rooms. Plenty choices of food at the eating area, but only two that sold drinks. Price wise - understandably theme park price. Although the nasi minyak was very nice. Lots of places for you to sit and have your meal. Place is relatively clean. One section was apparently closed for maintenance. Staffs were friendly.

营业时间10am-5pm 可是还没到10点营业就开始有点人潮在排队等park开门售票了 买票的速度还好 大约20-30分钟买到票 有两个地方可以买票（大门前一个售票处 ，另外一个在进乐园前面的counter） 里面的设备蛮可以的 小孩子区域也蛮多东西玩的 （水上滑梯有4-5个可以滑）大人区也蛮多样玩的 （大约有5-8个站可以玩）有小型的吊绳娱乐可以玩 （只是排队会比较耗时间） park里面卖的食物价钱不会算很贵 介于RM13-25 （有鸡饭、pizza、briyani饭、炒粿条、spaghetti 这些） 只是水会有点小贵（coke之类的） RM5-7 1.5L mineral water要RM9.55（这就很贵了）✅只可以ewallet/ card ❌不收cash 租locker是RM21.20 （全天） 可是需要给RM50 买locker card “deposit ”（退卡后会有refund钱 不需要担心❗️） “只收cash”‼️ 温馨提示‼️ 一定 一定 一定要穿长袖衣！不然天气太热了 很容易sunburn

10/12/23 ...Tempat dah menarik,,tandas yang selesa bersih dan lawa .tetapi STAF 2 ORG PEREMPUAN di bahagian NAK MASUK dkt TEMPAT SCAN TIKET TAK RAMAH langsung,,tanya sikit pon nak xnak layan.agak sombong utk bagitau sesuatu yang ditanyakan.waterpark lain ok ja staf ramah.waterpark ni ja bahagian nk masuk tempat scan tu mmg tak ramah,,senyum apa pon dak,,tanya pon mau xmau layan....... bahagian PINTU MASUK STAF OK perempuan dan lelaki ok tanya soalan mereka jawab dgn baik dan ramah....

Overall okay la but it’s considered quite pricey for me since it has only 6 adult rides. The kids pool was closed sebab diorang baru nak cuci. The water in kid’s section was so cloudy man.. Idk maybe I went there on Monday so diorang baru nak cuci pagi tu (considering the place was crowded on weekends). Strict jugak dressing code. Kalau dapat staff yang lenient, dia tak check sangat but just to be safe, pakai attire material jersey okay! Kalau takde boleh sewa je. Rm12 for tshirt and rm7 for leggings. Plus point for the interior design. Love the concept. It does give off Moroccon vibes.

Very nice water park. The place is not very crowded. If you want to visit with a very low price for the entrance fee, please visit one hour before opening. Very suitable for kids. The place is quite a nice design for family fun. The food price is a bit expensive, the location for rest and dining is very limited. This needs to be improved. I hope there is an air cond place for the people for rest.

Enjoyable experience I had with my kids, nieces and nephews.. we enjoyed every ride.. they even have the ride for kids, so you can do all the rides with your child without leaving them behind. The kids love it!!! For improvement, maybe can send the life guards to customer service course as they need to have that skills also.. Other than that, it was great and definitely will return.

Made a trip during weekdays. Highly recommend week days to avoid the crowds. Although park started a bit late around 10am and ended by 430pm during fasting months, we had ample time to enjoy the rides countless times. Park staffs were super friendly and accommodating. Worth making another visit during off peak periods. Facilities are still in great condition.

Bertam souk & water park for me is okay ... Maybe if they can lower bit the price comparing with the rides that available. The locker system quite confusing. The frustrating part is I already paid the ticket via online and to redeem the ticket you must queue along with walk in people’s at counter.

Questionable hygiene as the water was really murky and greenish. Exciting and thrilling slides collection. They even have a wave pool which was really fun. There is an on going promotion which you get free tickets if you stay at the resort. Reasonable priced annual ticket of RM199.

My little adventure. Feeling energized by the beautiful environment of the resort, I recommend everyone to visit and relax here with the good waterpark. Ok, the management is expected to flatten a bit of the bumper in the entryway which is a bit too high and touches the floor of my car.

Pergi bulan 10 tak sama macam mula-mula bukak. Air nampak agak keruh, lantai di pantai banyak dah tak bercat, nampak simen. Wadi (kolam air panas) dah tak jadi kolam air panas (air sejuk). Boleh la kalau nak pergi mandi kolam. Tempat kanak-kanak pun ok. Keseluruhan OK lahh..

Have a decent place but not with management and staff when people ask something they make annoying face tak ramah langsung pandang orang sebelah mata memang tak professional both front desk hotel to valet and waterpark staff…enjoying accommodation but some staff ruin everything not even apologize to us even their mistake soon will be no2 mimaland

During weekday not busy so could get on all the rides. 2 kids 3 and 6 both loved it and spent the entire day here. Food and drink available as well as use of showers and rubber tubes for wave machine and rides. Locked cost around 20 ringgit.

The Hotel environment is very calming. The lobby looks elegant at night with warm lighting. The hotel swimming pool is very spacious. You can swim freely from end to end. Never try the water park since there is insufficient time to spend here due to business matters. Parking lots are easy to get here

locker RM21.20，但是要付deposit。给50令吉，回去的时候会还28.20。locker无限次数。 票要收着，可以随意进出到5点。厕蛮大的，但是淋浴间少。设施都蛮不错玩，也很多适合儿童的。大人小孩都有自己可以玩乐的设施。 食物很多，偏贵，会比外面的食物贵个3-8块。 因为有voucher扣70巴仙的关系，超级多人来游玩，但是等待时间差不多最多30分钟。 扣分的地方是水有点脏。还有游泳池里的漆很多都落了。

Good theme park, everything walking distance. All water rides are supervised and guards are attentive. Check first if park are opened at night as it's cooler

We went day on week days so not so crowded. Toilets are clean and there's ample tables and chairs to put your things while you are playing at the waterpark.

Air kotor, berlumut, cat terapung merata-rata. Yang bagi 5⭐ ni x nampak ka? pelampung free (dah kira skali dengan tiket kot), tapi yang dok conquer pelampung x bagi orang tu yang sakit hati.

Price for entry and parking is affordable. Went on weekday to avoid the crowd but still quite alot of people. Staff are friendly to guide you around.

假期去的，排队没有次序乱七八糟的。让所有人都不知所措的，还要闷到满身都是汗水相比像sauna一般的的排队买票。还等了一个小时多。恐怖的经历！要不是带着27位家人和员工一起去的话，不可能会要跟人家汗搓汗的挤着排队买票！差！ 在里面玩的那些还好。就是如果没有70%offer 根本不值得去。

Sesuai utk budak2 dan dewasa. Dewasa ada 5 playground air yg sangat best, dan kawasan pun dekat. Tak perlu jalan jauh nk ke tempat main. Kerusi dan meja utk duduk pun banyak. Tiket parking rm6.

cust services out. Berapa kali cal tak pernah angkat. Kalau angkat cakap dah tutup. Wasap pun lambat reply. Klau reply jawab sepatah lepastu menghilang. Tolong improve cust services ya. Tq
