Let me State for the record, that I am only rating the Best buy location at Tatum and cactus. I had purchased a laptop earlier in the day at the Best buy in North Scottsdale and had excellent service. But they were out of a particular piece of equipment that I wanted and found out that they had a couple at the Tatum cactus location. So I went there and after lunch I went to purchase the item. There was only one man in the department and he was busy with another customer I found what I thought to believe was the item I needed. All I needed to do was ask is this the piece I needed yes or no and I could have gone up front and paid for it and been on my way. But I stood there with two other customers for almost 15 minutes patiently waiting our turns. After 15 minutes the man finished with his previous customer and announce Dave, and the gentleman next to me said yes that's me and went over and began his transaction. After looking around the salesman stated to the other gentleman and myself if you want to be helped you have to go to the front of the store put your name on the list and I will take them accordingly we're short-handed today and there's nothing I can do about it. Well Mr salesman there was something you could do about it you could have told us as soon as we walked in the door so we did not have to wait 15 minutes or better yet the man up front who was making the list should have said hey we're a little short-handed let me get your name on the list so we can get you some help but instead the gentleman up front was sitting chatting and laughing with the person behind the store pickup who was sitting there chatting and laughing with no consequence to who was in the store. Between the two locations I will now only shop at the North Scottsdale store the other one may as well close up just like Paradise valley Mall did because it serves no purpose to anyone other than aggravation. So buyers beware PV is not your Best buy.
The quality of these products are not worth the small saving. We bought a kitchen aid French door refrigerator for $2635. We thoroughly checked several models before settling on one which we triple checked for issues. There were none. When the appliance arrived the freezer door handle was loose which my husband was able to fix with an Allen key. Two days later the handle fell off the produce drawer. I called kitchen aid who informed me that the door on a 2 weeks old refrigerator was not covered by the manufactures warranty and I needed to buy a plan. In fact he scolded me for not having a plan he was rude and aggressive. For the money we saved absolutely not worth it. I now have to take it up with Best Buy as kitchen aid will only speak to me if I buy a plan. How on earth is the handle falling off a 2 week old appliance not covered. He suggested that the delivery staff may have broken it but it was now my problem. I literally have a fridge that cost $2635 with a broken door handle. I will never buy from this store again. It is not worth the money saved which was not a lot for all this hassle.
I can't understand how this store is still open with that horrible customer service! I bought a washer, dryer, fridge and freezer they supposed to deliver it.. 4 days after I got a call and they said they're having problems with the system and my order and 35 others order was canceled but they will fix the problem!!.. after that I got a message that everything is going good but they will deliver it on a extra 5 days So I call the store to see if I can pick up my appliances but they never answered the phone in 2 days!! So I come back from Tucson to Phx and they said they can do nothing 100% helplessness and said the phone doesn't work! So I tell the guy that's a really bad customer service and he only says .. Yeah I know!! Don't waste your time and money here ! They should remove the "BestBuy" signs
I purchased a refrigerator in an open-box "satisfactory" condition from Best Buy Outlet in Phoenix AZ. According to Best Buy open-box item classification, "a Satisfactory product does not include dents, chips, cracks or deep scratches". But I found more than 5 dents and 2 obvious scratches when I had it at home. Also, the item appears to be a used one, because I saw some plumber tape still wrapping around the fridge water line fitting. The item should have been classified as "fair" condition at best. I called the store numerous time, never reached any one; I called Best Buy customer support multiple times, requesting the store manager call me back to talk about the issue and possible return, no one called me back. It is not good experience for me. I hope other shoppers won't have to experience the same.
Bad management. Service staff is friendly but not well trained. Management is responsible for a myriad of logistical issues I have faced, and the general aire of incompetence. I call, they hang up on me. I look online, they display NO inventory. I have purchased a top stack washer/dryer, but they neglected to remove a securing rod causing malfunction of the equipment. It turned out that the warning sticker was removed but the rod wasn't. Huge hassle, because I didn’t learn of the issue until after I returned it to them. I purchased a new one from Lowe's and learned what Best Buy didn't tell me. Cost me $500, two transport trips (60 miles) and full install and uninstall of product. I only give two stars because of the good attitudes of the service staff.
Bought a brand new ipad here for 20% off I biught my first ever IPad here when it was still a normal Best Buy and not an outlet. Once the new iPad mini 6 came out I decided to see if Best Buy open box was good. I went to this store because I knew it was an outlet and bought a 64 gig space grey IPad mini6. They are normally $499 but I got mine for only $400 with the box, charger, stickers, manuals, iPad, and the charging brick! It literally behaves like a brand new iPad because the person that had it before must have returned it pretty fast. Battery was at 100% health with no dents on the screen or the back! I would highly recommend going here because sometimes they have very good deals like the one I got on my iPad mini6.
The Manager Running this place should not be in the position he is in. The Store phone doesn’t work. & when I showed up to the store the first employee I was asking about my issue, refused to help me find a solution. And was rude with an attitude the next employee that went up to me said he couldn’t help me because he was new and then went and helped a Male Customer and the Manager acted like if I didn’t exist even though I was standing next to him. Never acknowledged me until I said “is there anyone that can help me” and then proceeded to point to another employee. I felt discriminated against for being a female, it seemed like only the male customers where getting helped.
I am a huge fan of Best Buy. I love their stores and I love shopping and being able to see and feel what I am looking for and talk to the associates who all know more than I do. BUT THIS OUTLET store was disappointing. Electronics is pretty much all packaged up. And it is very limited in what they carry. Appliances are all lined up in rows. So you are not going to necessarily be able to shop for what you want to look for. And if you go to the Best Buy web site and look at an item you may be able to click on "if on clearance and it might tell you if there is one in the Outlet store". If business conditions improve maybe they will turn this back into a regular store.
This is an OUTLET store where open-box and floor models from the regular Best Buy stores are sent from around Phoenix. Great for discount and open-box TVs, laptops, and Sonos speakers. This store does not have the selection or layout of a typical Best Buy. The majority of the floor space is for laundry machines and kitchen appliances. Computers and peripherals are on the right when you walk in; home theater and TVs are on the left. Inventory seems to be accurate on the Best Buy app and website, and they do provide in-store pickup. You’re allowed to open boxes and look at anything before buying. An employee confirmed everything has a 15 day return policy.
Purchased a receiver and a couple of speakers. The sales guy was really nice and knowledgeable. We opted to have geek squad come out and deliver and install the speakers for us. After waiting all day (and taking an early day from work), no geek squad, no phone call, nothing. Called the store and they said there was no delivery date scheduled. It CLEARLY says on our receipt delivery date 9/2/21. Tried to ask how that could happen and we got hung up on. Really poor customer service. We are left really frustrated, no answers, no speakers, and now we have to go back to the store and try to get our money back. Such a disappointment.
The customer service staff is great particularly Gage who saw me solid eventually. Three stars, not five because I got the television home missing a power cable which was not indicated on the box. Going back-and-forth to Best Buy and my place took over 2 1/2 hours of driving and I’m packing and packing a TV box. When I asked for a discount from the manager considering the amount of time I wasted. The manager just said no. I buy all my electronics from Best Buy, this is really tarnished my experience and I will be going back to Amazon. If it wasn’t for Gage the store would only be one star. The manager needs a reality check!
Not worth the trip. Everything small: LOCKED IN CAGES and most WITHOUT VISIBLE PRICES sooo annoying. Prices: only SLIGHTLY discounted. Couldn’t find anything worth buying. Most items were like $30 off yippeeee. You’re not gonna find a super-saving gem here I’m sad to say. Items: Inventory is mostly large appliances, and lots of tvs. Decent selection of medium electronics but again, you’re not saving much. PRO NOTE: the 5 ⭐️ rating on this store is cause they kept the original Best Buy page & just converted it to the Outlet page, so nearly all photos and reviews are not for the current OUTLET store *****
I'm not sure if this is meant to be more of a warehouse than a sales floor, but it is next to impossible to shop here because most of the products do not have prices and some you can't even sort through because they are behind locked cages (such as laptops). Essentially, the Best Buy Outlet would be a great place to eyeball a number of appliances (makes up 75% of the store) OR to simply pick up something you bought online in the clearance or used section AND that says is located here rather than a regular Best Buy retail store. For the casual bargain hunter, this is not an easy place to shop and I would skip.
The Outlet store is mostly appliances. I went in for a dishwasher, found the one I wanted and bought it. The clerk told me I could save $100 by delivering myself. Then I asked about install, I had to pay for delivery to get the install... So then I had to return it to buy it again... You can't re-buy it unless you wait 24 hours for them to "inspect" it even though I didn't take it out of the store. Luckily for them, they had another model in the back that I could buy. Not a great experience and costed me about an hour extra in time for dealing with the first clerk's mistake.
When the gentleman in the computer department wasn't on his phone, he was halfway attentive, but it seemed he struggled to come up with the answers about the product being sold there. Best Buy isn't quite what I remembered growing up. It use to be the place to be. Now it feels like a shell of what it once was. Tons of TV's and product to display which was a nice sight after being to a few other locations in the valley. It doesn't bode well when your employees aren't paying attention, are on their phones, and aren't able to answer questions accurately.
I went not knowing it had changed to an outlet store. I was looking for a phone, I decided I'd go in anyway and try my luck. I was instantly greeted and assisted by Allison. She walked me through every phone, popped my SIM card in to make sure it worked and just gave me above average exceptional customer service. I walked out with an awesome phone at a great price. Allison made this entire process enjoyable and seamless and I will go back to the store again based on this experience and the awesome service I received.
The discounts are minimal for scratched and damaged goods that are missing parts and probably not under the manufacturer's warranty. The staff totally ignores you despite you standing around and looking around obviously needing help. Many of the items don't have the proper price or no price at all. By the time you replace the missing parts, you practically pay the full price, wasted your time, and probably are without a warranty. You are much better off just looking for a retail location with a sale price.
We went to buy a monitor to attach to a laptop docking station. We had very specific requirements and had found the one we needed online. Unfortunately, we missed that the low price was for a limited time and we were past the deadline. However, we were so lucky to work with Collin, who said, "Would you like me to find you something comparable?" We said yes and he found us an even better deal. $77 for a monitor that normally sells for $300! We are thrilled! A big shout-out and thanks to Collin!
This place has been the worst experience in buying appliances. They were supposed to be delivered on Monday between 7 and 11 AM. At 3 o'clock, I had to make 3 calls and spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to find out if they were being delivered or not. The next day, I had to call back again. And were told that there was a little damage and they were pulled off the delivery truck. Without my knowledge, and nobody called me. And I still don't know when they're going to be delivered.
A representative answered the phone, trying to make an outbound call got my inbound call. She said "oh, we get phone calls here? Oh well how can I help?" I asked for a quick physical description of a fridge, to which she said "our fridges are kind of spread out and not in a specific place." I asked, again, if she could find the one I want and give me a description. "Honestly, no we're short staffed and don't do that." Easy decision. I ordered a fridge from a better company.
For the most part there are good deals. Is just a matter of going and check out if what you looking for is available, or to check the condition of an item you spot on their website. We were looking for an electric double oven and a ducted hood vent but there weren't any at the time. Still good place to upgrade appliances without breaking the bank. I'd just suggest to do your homework and compare the outlet price with potencial current discount at stores on new items.
Great prices and even better service. Keenan was so helpful with finding a fridge with the options and finish that I was looking for. Matt was really helpful with loading the product and they repackaged it so it would make the trip safely home. The management team was really great and it showed because the employees were also really great. No "going through the motions" vibe here. Paid half of retail for an almost perfect product.
They are only open one day a week. I am guessing they either have zero staff or they are about to get shut down for forever. The are also out of stuff too. I know they are facing supply chain issues, but not sure if there is also a correlation with them being open one day a week. Ok, update! The last review was when it was a BEST BUY. Now it is Best Buy Outlet. Old review doesn’t apply to new store
Very helpful employees. You find what you at a discou t as the boxes are good fair and excellent to help determine what to expect when buying open box items. Large selection of tvs and other items but different then the main store as no accessories are there or if so not too meat to choose from. Overall check here first before online and get a great bargain. Also plenty of parking.
I have purchased a laptop from this location a few months ago and have been very happy with the item and the savings. That being said I was looking for kitchen appliances and thought I would look since I had a great experience with the laptop purchase. I didn't find any appliances that would work but if you are looking to save money then I would give the Best Buy Outlet a try.
Pertains to the new Outlet store. It's just a home for all their returned fridges, washers, and dryers. There's a few electronics but no screaming deals. Discounts aren't great. Only $30 off for a fixed Nintendo switch that was broken is crazy. I'll just buy it new thanks. Didn't notice any huge discounts of broken stuff that was fixed. Already miss the original Best Buy.
Total waste of time managers Collin and Amanda are the worst! No customer service! Just take it or leave it attitude. We drove over 2 hours to get to the store. the dishwasher we purchased ended up being from this Outlet was supposed to be in Fair condition. It looked like a horse kicked the front in. Total waste of time everything is overpriced garbage in this store
It's a large warehouse full of appliances. Best to take your time to really look at what you're buying. Great deals & lots of free easily accessible parking. I got a new fridge (very small scratches) for a great price. Mine stopped working & needed immediately. Many other retailers have everything on backorder. Good place to get what you need right away.
Great place to get discounted items, the only thing with major appliances is you can't plug them in and turn it on to see how good it works. The only issue we had was when we bought a dryer and when we got home to turn it on it was making a loud sound when it was in use. Besides that we had no other issues with any other appliances
Purchased an open box TV sold in “excellent” condition. It came with no cords so I had to come back in and purchase the cord despite the listing stating the unit came with it. Once I got the cord, the TV clearly had to large cracks in the screen. This site doesn’t answer the phone making the experience worse. Avoid this location
This was my first visit to this Best Buy Outlet location. I was in awe! It is not setup like a typical Best Buy location. It has nothing but tons of Open Box goods. They have everything from Appliances, TVs, Laptops, etc. I highly recommend this location to anyone who loves a bargain and doesn't mind Open Box/returned goods.
Stay Away!!!! Very scary guy that worked there came running up behind my husband yelling "sir u can't be there" he was literally beside the cash registers that no one was attending because I was trying to pay for a phone case. Store should be closed, it's sad anyway. Won't be back 0 for customer service. Stay away!!
Dion is the very best manager to handle the far from perfect delivery, all issues and communication between the store-location and the Best Buy Distribution Center in Goodyear. Thank you for the great service, Dion! Thank you for preparing and training nice, patient and professional staff at the Best Buy Outlet!
Tons of appliance options, especially refrigerators and laundry washers/dryers. Prices were great compared to MSRP and maybe because of the Holiday weekend got we got even a deeper discount and lots of help from the friendly staff. I definitely will look there for new appliances first next time I need some.
The customer service at this place in top tier and unmatched. Front the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was treated with top priority by Aubrey ,also the woman with pink hair and others . This place is great and although it is a drive I don't mind coming back when you get service like this !!!!
Very helpful. The employee stayed with us throughout the entire time helping us. Very knowledgeable on the item. The store carries from tv,computers, washer and dryer, ovens any lots of stuff open box or scratches and dents. Save my self $120 plus 0% for 18 months Happy camper
Devin and Collin helped my wife and I find a washer and dryer. They were knowledgeable and helpful. We saved alot of money and the appliances seem to be working very well. If you stop in be sure to talk with Devin or Collin they will get you taken care of!
They never answer the phone and their communication skills are horrible. All I’m trying to do is figure out when my package will be here but the don’t have any idea, they are rude and don’t care to even try to help me. Don’t recommend what so ever.
This place is okay. They don’t include anything like delivery, haul away, installation and additional warranty. Those are all separate with each averaging about $100. Once those items are added, when compare to Sam’s Club or Costco that may
All I can say is GO Team Allison -Aubrey and Dante and I believe their is two more associates who’s names names I forget ! But nevertheless all of them deserve recognition and huge Praise they go out of their way for everyone and including
I received fantastic service, got several great deals from this location over the last year. If you're patient and check out this location over a few months, you could probably replace all of your appliances for half price or less. Many of
A good place to go if you're looking for used and open box appliances and tech. However, with all places like that, you may not get something perfect. The sound bar I bought wouldn't sync, but they got it switched for one that works great.
Bought a $2700 ELECTRIC Samsung washer dryer set. They delivered an electric washer and gas drier. Left me wondering what's going on for two days. Then said if they accidentally sold the electric dryer I would have to pick something else
Lol whoever is running your sales phone around 11:45 on Sunday needs to be fired. No talking, i was just put on hold. Then proceeds to pick up, hang up the next 4 times I call. Lmao whoever that is just lost a sale for your business boss!
I am the kind of guy that researches like crazy when I purchase anything. I did my homework and found the best value at Best Buy. I have bought most of my electronics at Best Buy because I think their buying power enables them to pass on
Well Aubrey saved the review that was going to be a 1 star. I went in first time and no greeting and walked around stoves for 15 minutes and nobody came and then a younger blonde lady and teenage daughter came in and the man too busy to
the whole experience was terrible. I thought supervisor Aubrey was helpful but then she didnt follow through on her promises. she told me to email her and she would help me with something. ive emailed several times and she didnt respond
The people that worked here didn't seem to be super friendly or helpful. The selection is kind of a mess. I'm sure it's great if you're a bargain hunter, but we were looking for a specific microwave and no one there could help.
Really nice and helpful staff, were very patient and accommodating while I faced a glitch on Best Buy’s website. The store has a good selection of products as well! Definitely worth checking out the open box products here.
Buyer beware. They don't post 90% of the prices, sales guy has to follow around with a scanner. Everything we looked at was only about a 20% discount and missing cords, remotes, or had some damage. Better to buy new.
Sales were great but the delivery service is horrible. Delivery has been rescheduled 3 times now, they sold the appliance I purchased to another person but don't have any others in stock. Will NEVER ship there again!
Good deals on appliances, however their customer service is highly lacking. I come often to buy appliances for work and every time I am here no one wants to help and it takes a long time to get anyone to come help.
This young man was busy doing something, though he did not mind assisting me. Helped me locate the laptop I was looking for, rang me up and helped me get everything to the car. This was a very pleasant trip
I generally have a good experience shopping at best buy, this particular store is not very good. I stopped by to purchase a LG 77 in TV, as it was indicated as open box excellent. Per the description :
In the market for a new TV and just tried to call twice. Pressed 1 for sales questions and just rang a few times and hung up both times I called. Guess I'll go get a TV somewhere else. Thanks Best Buy
Mom needed a new range. They hooked us up with a beautiful Samsung range. And they even wrapped it up and loaded it in the truck. If you don't mind some minor cosmetic damage.. you can't go wrong
Got a good deal on a laptop, but waited for almost ten minutes to have anyone come help us, and when he did, he was not very enthused or personable. Felt like our business didn't matter much.
I understand there's a shortage of inventory lately but I am not happy with their ability to keep track of inventory or communicate with each other. You would think it be easier these days.
Some good deals. Some are not much less that the actual price. Some of the refrigerators were used and very dirty, food spilled inside. It was gross, and they were bearly marked down.
They have really quick curbside pickup service. I placed my order last minute for a gift and picked up within an hour. I never have bad experience at Best Buy its always a good one.
What a huge selection of just about any appliances or electronics that is scratch and dent or returned and refurbished from Best Buy. Saved hundreds on a Google Pixel phone
Absolutely terrible busy busy weekend and I only have two people on staff. The manager, instead of helping , makes excuses about corporate. Complete waste of our time
Had never been in before, found a lot of appliances available. Definitely a place to check out if in need of washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves or microwaves.
Amanda helped us locate the TV we needed for my mother in law and at the price we wanted!!! She was amazing helpful and friendly. Thank you a million times over!
Had a huge selection of refrigerators, and a great price selection ranging from a few hundred to the fancy models, also had quite a few stoves and dishwashers
Great prices on open box items! Difficult to get assistance, but once you do, they are helpful and friendly; Grace was especially helpful with my PC purchase.
Lots of items, but the prices weren't as low as I expected. I could buy a brand new laptop at best buy for the same price as a used floor model at the outlet.
They have amazing deals here. Bought a brand new washer and dryer for under $800 and an 85" tv for $1,000. I was shocked by the number of deals they have!
Drove 45 minutes to get to the outlet for a pick up but manager said they closed at 2pm even though on best buy site and Google, the close time is 6pm.
It's a cool idea, but it's more like a used /open box store. Some items may surprisingly be unopened. Lucky find. Like a thrift store for electronics
Customer service is great. Prices are good. Go online first to see what they have first. You might have to do a little searching when you get there.
Prices weren't all that exciting, and staff didn't even approach us asking if we needed any help. I'll take my chances at a regular best buy.
Ordered online and had to pick up here I was in and out and everyone was very friendly..plus they got good deals going on in this store..
Got no assistance, couldn't tell what some items were as the boxes were all flipped different ways. Not an outlet I'd go back to.
What is this place? Mostly open boxes, poorly marked, and poorly priced. Don't waste your time trying to go thru all this stuff.
Great selection and prices. Need more staff and a better computer system though. The Geek Squad staff member was very good!
Great selection of home appliances, besides that not too many things that caught my eye, picked up a refurbished iPad
If you need an appliance and don’t mind a less then perfect machine - this is the place to save 100s or even 1000s!!!
Tech radio installer (Lupe) was very competent and professional. Did an excellent job installing JVC radio in my car
Great place to find Dyson products including vacuums and ,purifying fans Ask for Josie,Matt or Snow
No computer and very limited TV choices but very nice deals on large appliances
The entire place is basically a massive clearance blowout, I love this place.
Mathew was very helpful to me, he was able to find the best watch for me .
Great place for refurbished almost like New MacBook Air at a lot cheaper
Interesting selection of returns, open box items and scratch and dent.
Sales person was helpful and gave me a good sale
Getting my daughter her macbook was painless.
