This is why I buy mostly what I need online and these stores are going by the wayside. I went in to buy a simple cable. I go to the area where the cable is supposed to be. The person on the TV section tells me I need to go by the computers. So they have the exact same type of cables over by the computers. when I finally get someone to help me by the computers he has an absolute attitude with me and tells me the cable that I need us in the front by the phone kiosk. So that is the third place that they have the exact same type of cables because of that particular brand that I wanted which I found online and they said they had three available in the store.I get to the area he sent me to and I can't find it anywhere of course then I realized there is a reason I can't find it. The entire rack that is supposed to have the cables on it does not have cables hanging from their proper places but instead they are all over the floor and all over the bottom of the shelf. 90% of them are returned and they are mislabeled as to what the contents are inside. So naturally now I can't find the item that I need and instead of buying the cheaper one that they supposedly have three of in stock. I have to go back over by the televisions and spend four times the amount for one that will do the exact same job as a $12 one. Can someone please explain to me why three of the exact same type of cables are in three completely different parts of the store 300 yards apart in each direction? And with the prices you are charging for your stuff you can't afford to have people hang things on the shelves where they belong or hooks that is? I only came to this store because it was convenient and location to what I was trying to get done. This was your shot to maybe try to bring someone back into the fold and have them shop in your store again. Major fail, all you did was reaffirm that I will virtually never use your establishment and others shouldn't either. Because the last thing it was was convenient nor did it let me get the item that I wanted which supposedly three were in stock but of course they couldn't be found because of the rat's nest you call a sales display. I had the worst customer service experience ever at this Best Buy location. Another incident, where people judge you, is the way you dress. When I walked into the store, there were two staff standing at the front of the TV section talking. As I was looking at different open box models, one of the men I saw earlier passed by, and I asked how could I get some assistance. He stated, "Go to the front of the store and ask to call for assistance." I did as I was told; within a few moments, someone came. The guy approached; he didn't even greet me. He asked, "What do you need?" I told him what type of TV I was looking for. Before he could answer me, another customer approached. The other customer asked the man if someone could help her with a TV, the bestbuy man said yes and continued to talk to the woman about her husband. I said, "Excuse me, is there a new model of the TV in this box I could see?" The man pointed down the wall where the numerous TVs, the he started back conversation with the woman. I at this point asked him which TV was the right TV on the wall since the TV in the box had no identifying information. He asked me, "Did I want him to go put his hand on the TV?" I asked how could I get someone to help me with a TV since I was there first. He said to go back to the front of the store and ask for help. The other customer said that since she was here first, you could finish with her. The Bestbuy man stated, "No, she can wait or go get someone else. " As I walked away to go get help, I could hear the other customer state, "I think she is upset. " The Bestbuy man said, "I don't care. She probably wasn't going to buy anything." I couldn't believe he was so rude, and he continued to talk about me even after I walked away.

Husband went in to purchase a PS5 and was told by 2 store associates that he was unable to purchase unless he joined a membership which was around $200 (Two hundred) to become a member. So he said okay and left. I told him that didn't sound right so I called corporate just to get a better understanding. Corporate was very kind and confirmed that that was not true and any customer can purchase the PS5 without a membership. Matter of fact she stated that they had just sold one that same day or the day before to a non member customer. She stated that the associates should be very aware that that was not true. She asked if my husband could go back in the store while she and I were on the phone and tell them we are allowed to purchase, but my husband had already left and gotten too far. She apologized and offered a discount. My husband had just come from planting sod, so it makes me wonder if they judged the way he looked and denied him the purchase. Or were they holding it for themselves, or were they too lazy to go and get the PS5 out of stock. I would hate to believe any of those would be why but what was their reasoning behind lying? Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyway, we just ended up not returning and purchasing from a different chain a couple of days later.

9-7-2023; I stop shopping here for serval reasons. Lack of staff, customer service, and in-stock conditions. I thought today would have been a repeat of serval bad experiences. To be fair, customer service is one of the hardest jobs that people don't get credit for. If I walk into this best buy, I already know what I want, the in-stock based on online, and the price. The young lady upfront couldn't find the item in the system. She didn't like it when I mentioned that they keep this particular item upfront in which I gave her the sku(best buy internal inventory system) for the item to move things along. To make the story short, she did later tried to help me, but my first impression of her was already negative. Kudos goes out to the rest of the staff, who not only pulled together to make things right, but the manager at the time who insisted on resolving the issue. Not only did I leave with a super hard to find item she also addressed the issue accordingly. Like I say, customer service is very hard and unforgiving. Most importantly it's a team thing. Anyone can make a mistake.

I stopped in today to return an item and the wait was short and the staff was friendly. The shopping center itself can be a challenge on foot, there is a fair amount of traffic and people yell and become aggressive, the store is well stocked and easy to navigate and the staff is professional and friendly. I have a long history with Best buy as a customer and I am happy to see them hiring and training professionally. They have great open box deals at this location - with the only drawback being their attentiveness to insurance and replacement products. The store may be involved in testing electronic recovery through law enforcement or with other retailers in the area, I have purchased multiple phones here, something I no longer participate in, and all have been stolen. PS the chipmunk may be dead from lydar or some other form of query in the area - see trafficking models, sad truth for the state!

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S20 from Best Buy But only a week later solid they had a really good deal on the S20+ that was only a $100 difference. I went into store and asked them to help me switch the phones while also maintaining my upgrade. Sabrina put ALL of her time and efforts into helping me through this process! She was kind, diligent and very open & comninicative!! After multiple calls, numerous frustrating dead ends, asking for guidance from her coworkers while trying different methods and 2 hours... Sabrina was able to make this customer extremely happy because I got the phone I wanted!! Thank you so much to her I wish I could've tipped her cause this review doesn't match the energy she put into helping me

Truly unbelievably horrible service. I am a total tech member. Bought a refrigerator and they brought it to deliver it, and said it wouldn't fit, even though I had measured out the space. They then sent someone to come take measurements and agreed with me that it would fit. Set up delivery number 2. Today (3 weeks later, 3 weeks without a refrigerator!) they delivered it again and the entire compressor in the back was dented in. They said they'd offer me a 10% discount if I'd keep it.. yeah right! No guarantee it would even work. Sent it back again, and called, and they refuse to offer me any sort of discount to make this right, so I am cancelling my entire order along with my membership. Will never shop best buy again.

I’m a regular customer at this particular location that holds a Bestbuy credit card.I go in today too return a(iPhone)charging port that almost burned my desk up,literally.The lady that assisted me clearly was having a bad day,not a people person & very unprofessional….moving forward I decided to purchase a washer & dryer set for my wife and had what I wanted picked out,couldn’t find any help,so I walked around the store to perhaps purchase more Christmas gifts,as I was walking around I noticed the police following me whispering on her radio…..OMG really…she was so embarrassed because it was as obvious she was following & watching me…I will never patronize this location ever again

I went to this location today and was immediately greeted by Michael. The energy within this Best Buy is awesome totally different than the one in Stockbridge/McDonough area. This place felt opened and welcoming which provides a better experience for the employees that resonates to the customer. Michael was able to immediately help provide what I needed and checked me out instead of having me go to another counter for check out like the Stockbridge/McDonough location. Even though this is a long drive from my home I'll come back to this location because of the positive energy and great customer. Thank you Michael for such a great experience.

It’s sad to see a once respected business hit bottom. Store is understaffed. I only saw 3 people on the floor. I had to wait for someone to unlock the cabinet to grab a couple SD cards. Then he wouldn’t give them to me. I had to follow him to the register and he handed them to the cashier. One cashier on duty and I had to wait for her to finish a personal conversation before she had time to take my money. There were other things I was going to get, but decided not to waste my time. A 5 minute stop turned into 20+ minutes.

Terrible customer service at this location with the exception of the manager. I went in to purchase a TV and was flat out ignored by associates. When I requested assistance from the many employees standing idly by, they each called over the radio to have someone else assist and they walked away. I finally was helped by the manager and wanted to take a final look before purchasing and again non of the employees that were standing by were available to help. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Bought a store model TV at a reduced price. Once home, the picture only covered 3/4 of the screen. Called the store and they said to bring it back. Brought it back and was given a full refund, no questions asked. Went to the TV section and bought a new Samsung 50”. Everyone I dealt with at that store was extremely nice, courteous and knowledgeable. The whole process of returning the broken TV and buying a new TV was made so much easier with the help of Anthony and Darius. Thanks guys.

Poor customer service! An employee (Donte) and another female worker failed to greet or acknowledge me as I waited in line for assistance. However, they each continued to invite other customers to the register but once they checked out their customers they walked away and tried to look busy ( only standing around talking). My items were paid for I simply needed an employee to hand them to me. What should of taken seconds actually took about 10-20 minutes. Never again.

I absolutely love Best Buy and came here to buy my son the charging dock for his Meta Quest 2, and I also was going to try to upgrade my daughters iPhone but the workers are absolutely awful! They’re rude and just act like they don’t like their job, and they also judge you based on how you look and what you have on, so basically you have to look like money or you’ll be harassed so I told my kid to put the charging port because we’ll go to the Best Buy in Conyers!

I purchased a fit bit watch. The young woman who helped me went above and beyond to assist me. She made certain my new purchase was set and ready for me to wear and start walking. Another sales staff pushed me off to geek squad. The young woman who assisted me with the purchase had to clear a line of customers at the register. Once she was finished, she was gracious to find me and finished what she started. She's a 5 star staffer. Great job, best buy!

This location is lazy and should not be a Best Buy. I asked for a WiFi hot spot that showed available online. When I went in the associate didn’t care to look anywhere and said “yeah we sold out of those” when I asked for a manger he claimed to be one. When I found the actually manager they located the hot spot and claimed they didn’t activate them being that it was 5pm and they closed around 8pm. This location is as lazy as it gets

Who doesn't love best buy, but some of their policies are just stupid. November 2022 I purchased a full car audio system from the Athens store. I made over ten trips from Decatur to that store before they pulled everything out and issued me a refund because they couldn't resolve the issue. I purchased a router from this store, only to find out you can't return it after 14 days. It's not my fault it stopped working. Yikes.

Horrible experience and they cost me money. I placed a pickup order, the order was confirmed, I drove 15 miles to come pickup the order and was then told it wasn’t in stock. I asked if they’d be willing to do anything to compensate me for the gas I just wasted coming out to the store and was basically told to pound sand. Shop literally anywhere but this store.

This place will be out of business soon. Horrible customer service . And u can’t even call the store anymore . The Geek squad will hv your computer tell u to call only to not answer the phone. It goes to an outsource customer service line. They said Best Buy’s don’t answer the phones anymore . You have to chase people down to get them to help you.

I give it a one star because I applied for a best buy credit card. I got approved, but smh this credit card was a hard pull alright. It drastically took my credit score down 100 points. A hard pull is usually a few points no more than about 5 points. So, I advise not applying for a credit card with best buy.

I’m getting frustrated with Geek Squad. We pay the $199 membership and this is twice that they said they cannot help me. Both times were because my PC cannot turn on and now this time is because my laptop will not turn on. Instead, they gave me the HP phone number. What’s the point of the membership?

I came in looking for a replacement remote specific for my TV, which was not sold without a TV. Jamesia then took the time to look through all the disregarded remotes box. When mine wasnt there, she then went into the Geek squad and found the exact remote!!! Best Buy now has a customer for life!!

Two stars only for having an accommodating parking lot. Do not come to this store without buying online for in store pick up. Otherwise you'll get there and they won't be able to find what you want. This is after you stand in place to admire all the staff not assisting you.

Nice service, however Best Buy Corporate needs to hire more staff. You can’t access any big ticket items in the store without waiting in line for assistance, and then you end up waiting in another line to checkout. Great experience if you want to feel like cattle
