I went into best buy to ask about cameras because I was interested, and also look around. When I get to the camera area there was nobody there at all. They were all too busy huddled around the desks talking to each other and messing around. When I finally asked the girl with really poorly dyed blonde hair named Ana if she could help me with the cameras. She straight up said no and that she could go get someone. I thought that was good customer service until she just went to another help desk where her other employee friends were then started just talking with them instead of helping me. I stood there for thirty minutes with no help and with that Ana girl walking around trying to avoid eye contact with me. Then FINALLY I get help from a girl with also poorly dyed red / orange hair with a black bald spot. Her name tag said "mini" camera expert. So I ask her all my questions then she helped but throughout the conversation she would just go on her phone and I thought she was looking up something for me but she was texting her friend. I'm assuming it was that other ana girl because later she came up to mini to discuss their text conversation in person. It was very unprofessional, so I asked for the manager who took twenty minutes to get to me. This manager was named ari, she just kept pretending to care about why I was upset and ALSO just went to her phone after a bit. WOW WHY BE A MANAGER IF YOU CAN'T EVEN MANAGE NOT GOING ON YOUR PHONE FOR A FEW MINUTES?!?! So on my way out I saw another manager named Keaton and he seemed like he was the big boss since he was just standing there doing nothing but telling his employees to do his dirty work. I also had an unpleasant conversation with that clown of a manager who again brushed my situation to the side because clearly customer loyalty doesn't matter. Best buy is a decent company but they have to hire better managers and better employees because if they keep this up, they're going to end up losing more customers! NEVER COMING BACK TO SUCH A CARELESS ENVIRONMENT THAT ONLY CARES ABOUT RUNNING AROUND THE STORE TO SOCIALIZE AND STAND AT THE DOOR LOOKING AT PEOPLE COME IN.

We pretty much despise Best Buy as a company, I wish there were more options here. Between the two? Best Buys in Albuquerque, we've just never experienced any decent customer service. My husband bought an Asus MB there and when it turned out defective within warranty, Asus told him to return to Best Buy to initiate warranty repair. Best Buy turned him back to Asus because he didn't have a protection plan. Asus turned him back to Best Buy again because they don't support products purchased at Best Buy. Absolutely insane. Anyways, he finally escalated enough with Asus to get them to do the repair and they ended up getting him a new board. The Best Buy rep he spoke with for that issue was the same one he spoke with to return a smart watch I purchased recently (allergic to the material or something, I am on a never-ending hunt for a smartwatch I don't react to) she was super weird about the whole exchange, told us the restocking fee was $45 when we were told it'd be $30 at the time of purchase, and just generally seemed like she had something better to do. At the other Best Buy, we placed a pickup order for an AC and after waiting an hour after the pickup window provided for our purchase, we went inside and curiously, we went to see if we could find our order and yep! It was sitting in the back of the store with my hubby's name and order summary on it. We went to the front and asked them for it and they went and got it but acted like we inconvenienced them by doing the thing they were scheduled to do. Just, do better?

While I have never been to this store in person, I did end up calling here as this was the location my Xbox controller was being picked up by someone (they worked for Roadie which is an awful company by the way) and shipped to my house. Well, the controller was stolen from me by this person bringing it to me. I called this store to tell them that my controller was stolen by the person working for Roadie. A wonderful lady answered (I sadly didn't catch her name) and helped me as much as possible. She tracked down my package to see if it was still being shipped or if it was actually ready. It did apparently arrive at my house but the person never rang the doorbell or knocked. Well, she told me that she could either ship a new controller to my house right that second WITH someone trustworthy or I could pick it up from a closer store. I did end up picking it up from a closer store to my house but she did say that the company will file a report, tell Roadie what happened, and give me a new controller without having to pay again. Even if I chose to ship it to my house, the company would have paid all fees to ship it to me. Wonderful experience all around!

I recently had a very positive experience at Best Buy. I was looking for a new Gadget, and I was overwhelmed by the selection. I didn't know what features were important, and I didn't want to spend more than I needed to. I asked one of the sales associates for help, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He asked me about my needs and budget, and he showed me a few different laptops that would be a good fit. He also explained the different features and benefits of the huge selection of items, so I could make an informed decision. I ended up picking up a GoPro that Im very happy with. The sales associate was very patient and helpful, and he made the whole experience very easy. I would definitely recommend Best Buy to anyone looking for a new electronics purchase. When places like this hire people that are knowledgeable about the stuff they're selling it sure does make it easier for us as consumers to buy things there rather than just some online retail place. You can never see exactly what it is what you're going to buy when it's online. Anyway it was good experience for me.

My experience at this Best Buy location was interesting. This location is the only Best Buy in the Albuquerque area that is an authorized Samsung repair shop. I needed them to replace the cracked screen on my Samsung phone. I had an appointment, but I was there for several hours before they told me they could replace my screen because they had trouble running some diagnostic software. I did not ask them or need them to run diagnostic tests, but they insisted that Samsung makes them go through this process. I have had many screens replaced over the years, and I have never heard of this. They warned me that they might not have the screen in stock and informed me that they could not check on the part until after I had paid for the entire process. Luckily I paid and they did have the part in stock. Finally, I returned the next day, and they had satisfactorily replaced the cracked screen, but it seemed that process did not need to be so complicated.

The geek squad service from this location is terrible. I have been without a fridge for 2 weeks. I tried to reach out to this store multiple times and can't get a hold of anyone. I have a PAID warranty on my fridge and can not get the service I paid for. The tech came out for one problem and after the visit we had more problems. I called and was told the part was ordered. They even told me they contacted the tech and they confirmed the correct part was ordered. The tech called me to reschedule the appointment due to part delays and explained the new problem. They told me the part was not going to fix it. So much more to the story and canceled appointments but ultimately I realize that if you buy from Best Buy, be prepared for extreme disappointment. If your product is outside of factory warranty, then be prepared. We have been living out of an ice chest for 2 weeks. As a family of 6, my 2k would have been better spent at an ice house.

Managers and security are super helpful. I wanted to exchange my CO2 bottles and the security guard said I can grab the ones I want to replace with and head to customer service. I went to customer service and she wasn’t sure about the process. Asked another employee and he also said they don’t do exchanges. I didn’t give an issues as, well I don’t know their processes. The security guard asked me to wait while he grabbed a manager as he for sure knew Best Buy did CO2 exchanges. He grabbed the manager for me and he helped me with the process. The managers were also learning the new process so it took a while, but I’m just glad they’re helping me so I didn’t mind the wait. In the end I got my CO2 canisters exchanged and now I can enjoy my sparkling water. I would love for the other employees to learn the process so I don’t get turned away again!

I have purchased at this Best Buy on multiple occasions. Today I bought a replacement washer machine. The price happened to be on sale, but better than that...the staff was both helpful and welcoming... I believe it was the manager of the appliance section who stopped to answer questions and helped me clarify some points...she was excellent of demeanor and helpfulness. I truly appreciated her taking the extra time to answer all my questions with a genuine smile on her face! Next was the young man that checked me out (Dale maybe??). He was also kind and helpful, though he really tried to push me on the $199 geek squad protection lol. However, the experience was quite good and sets a high bar... ...I wish I had bought my dryer from them as well; especially with a 5 yr warranty where I can not worry about it at all...

TotalTech with Geek Squad is a total fraud! i purchased a set of computer head phones for my son this Christmas. The battery stopped charging so i brought it back to the store (in expensive item). I was told that because they couldn't find it on my profile there's nothing they could do. When asked why it wasn't on my profile I explained it was the incompetent untrained Christmas employee that didnt ask for my phone number. I was told well you will have to do a return at customer service and get a refund then repurchase the item, the line that day at customer service was crazy long so i just left. Spend almost $12,000 with them in the last year. They will never get another dime. Left the broken head phones with the manager and left. Horrible customer service. So much for purchasing "TotalTech".

Great service...had DOA LG oled b7a they replaced with much better tv. Sony 900e...sure glad I bought the extended warranty. (Hint: allways get the extended warranty) was great...DO not let them install above stove microwaves..or any items that require them to be around your cabinets they scratched my kitchen cabinet and the handed me to and third party insurance as they can't fix anything. The insurance company is one that makes you get bids to fix the damage then then must approve..I miss the old best buy...the new one make me want to buy elsewhere. I went to Lowes got better price with extended warranty $200.00 less...buy best buy still kept parts and charged me $60.00 for take away of old microwave...60 dollars for taking to truck. New microwave installed today....lol

Terrible customer service. I bought a phone and the woman refused to help me set it up. Went back the next day and explained I was having problems activating the phone. I attempted the help line but couldn't understand the person due to heavy accent. The Best Buy clerk was absolutely no help again, (same person as day before). I told her if I couldn't get her assistance I would just return the phone, which I did. Her attitude needs an adjustment. I left very disappointed and upset. I thought BB was a quality customer service based business. Went to Walmart and purchased the same phone and clerk set up the phone for me. She was extremely helpful. Said she used to work at BB and left due to management. Never thought I'd recommend Walmart over Best Buy but I do, I will!

Making this review out of the store, the employees were not helpful, seemed like they were trying to avoid me as much as possible, when me and my girlfriend went to the customer service line for item pick up, a guy Skip in front of us but that didn't bother the employee behind the counter. She scan his barcode on his phone and let him pick up his item, when it came to us, she scan our barcode and asked for an identification card but did not ask the guy who skipped the line for one, when we got our item the box was damaged, we asked if it was okay like that, in with an attitude she rolled her eyes in very condescendingly said "it's just the box" so we left, but felt like this store fell on its face on everything.

I bought a TV online and picked it up outside where all the blue-shirts are gathered. They said that it's a complete renovation and that store isn't opening for at least a YEAR . Today I did it- I drove all the way to Rio Rancho to return my radio that didn't work once it was installed, only to find out I have to send it back to the company... However, the trip was not for nothing I bought a 32" Insignia fireTV for 89.00, originally 149.99. This store is smaller than the BEST BUY that's closed due to flooding on Hotel Circle, and no one bothered helping me with my purchase. (I was helped to the fullest when I purchased a LGTV in July @ the Hotel Circle store)

I came to Best Buy to buy my wife an Apple Pencil. One of the reps went to the back and handed me one and told me to go the customer service desk to pay. I paid, went to the house, and when my wife opened the box, it was EMPTY. I also noticed that the package did not have a clear wrapping or seal. I drove all the way back to the store and tried to explain the situation to a manager. They stated that they looked at the cameras and that when the customer service rep sold it to me, it had a seal which is 100% false. When ever you buy from here please make sure you open the package to make sure you have what you paid for.

This is basically my reading for ALL Best Buys. Specifically in regards to the computer and tablets department. Rather than tailoring their customer service and recommendations to the customer's needs, they go based off whatever the corporate company is forcing them to pay regardless of whether or actually suits their needs and pushing for product that may not work for them. This comes from both personal experience and experiences I've heard from others as well. I've had positive experiences with their Geek Squad and front end cashier teams but not good enough to override the experience from the sales team.

We had a radio that went out in our vehicle. Since we bought it and had it installed at Best Buy we took back. The Westside store really helped us out . Their techs were right on it, they help us out and took care of the problem for us. Unfortunately the day before we had gone to the East side Best buy. Their tech there didn't take care of us at all. He was to busy looking forward to going out of town that he had No time to help us. He even told us to go to the Westside store because they have two techs. I will never buy anything from that store again. Thanks to the techs at Westside Best buy.

Worst experience possible dealing with this company. I purchased a $200 gift card and tried to purchase a phone they took the money from the gift card. Later I find out the order was cancelled but the money was never refunded! I reached out to "Customer Support" and have spent over 10 hours on the phone trying to get my money back. I am amazed by how poorly this company treats its customers. I lost $200 and 10 hours of my life trying to fix BEST BUYS MISTAKE. Me and my family will never spend a dime at best buy again. What they did by definition is fraud!

We came in for 2 reasons. Electric items for a sound bar and a video display radio for a vehicle. We couldn't find anyone to help, we located the item for the sound bar ourselves after about half hour looking. Then we went to your audio area. We asked for assistance 3 times. I finally approached a manager who at first was going to call for help until I stated that I have asked for help 3 times. He seem reluctant at first then he did answer some questions for us. Customer service at this store really needs some attention!!

Love Best Buy, sometimes I wish they had more staff as you have to hunt them down, then find always with a person or two waiting before you. Might want to think of having a question only spot for folks to just be able to ask those 1 second questions, like locations of things, If they need more, then call someone over or send them to correct dept. Made purchases online for car audio equipment, and it was missing parts. Went up to the front desk and asked if there was anything that could be done. The young man working said walk back to the installation center and ask them. Asked the young man in car audio if they could do anything. Luckily, he had some extra parts that he saved. Best car audio and electronics technician in Albuquerque is a fellow named Tim who works here. No one else touches my rides. He did my 72 Mustang, a 4 wd I have, and other vehicles I've owned years passed, hes about to re do my 74 corvette audio, it was a poor job at another shop I should never have used. Tim, I think he's the best we have in Albuquerque. Patience of Job, and the wisdom of Moses.

I have an equal love-hate relationship with this place. The deals and discounts are always good and the customer service is also very good. However everytime I go here is a gamble as about a quarter of the stuff I buy here I end up having to get an exchange or replacement for within the same week. Maybe I’m just unlucky and getting faulty products but it happens more than what is normal.

Many people I know, as well as myself, purchase most electronics from this Best Buy location. The staff has always been considerate and accommodating, and I have never had any issues with purchased products. With the hot temperatures we have been experiencing recently, I am glad to say that their air conditioning works great if you are looking for someplace to go to escape the heat.

Me and my wife went in for cases for our new note 20 ultras. Turns out they put a sticker over the actual label, which said galaxy note 20. That case did not fit correctly. Now the screen protector for the ultra they are selling is trash. The phone does not fit in the installation tray. Everyone in the store was helpful and polite im just displeased with the product we were sold.

Saw a Chromebook for about $150. Asked the sales guy if the one on the table was the one in the box because it had a wrong price tag showing some other brand & it was on another table. Went to Geek Squad for Z flip 4 repair. They were unable to repair so because the phone was less than a year old we were given full credit towards the purchase of a new Z Flip 5. They also transfered everything to the new phone. So happy we had purchased the best buy extended plan. Also, the Techs were on time for our appointment, friendly and courteous

Best Buy has changed a lot after the pandemic, it's kind of random to get the help you need. But this store has a few very knowledgeable employees and I have been fortunate to run into them when I needed information on purchases. Overall a clean and friendly atmosphere. Not stocked well. Orders are shipped in a fast reasonable time.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Best Buy used to be a Mecca for the tech oriented. Not any longer. I guess Amazon has nearly beaten them into surrender. The store was severely lacking in the type of pc accessories that used to fill the store. The camera section was even worse, with few models even properly functioning.

The Nintendo Switch has very bad Joy Con Drift and the Pro Controller has input lag and Mario can't stop squatting. The computer is compelling and the products are perfect.
