"I’ve given this place a few chances but it’s very disappointing"
"The food was not the best what I got some jerk pork, but the pork was not done"
"Great hole in the wall place with delish food! We have tried the oxtail, the jerk chicken and the chicken stew"
"Just started going here about a month now after my Barber told me about them and he is so right, their food is 100% tasty and flavorful"
"Food taste good but they're stingy with the amount of meat they give with a huge amount of rice"
I’ve given this place a few chances but it’s very disappointing. The cook was clearly Jamaican so I expected authenticity but it was just dry meat and sub par sides. Maybe he saves the real stuff for ppl he thinks would know better? No way the food I’ve been served is what these other folks with 5 star reviews got…
The food was not the best what I got some jerk pork, but the pork was not done. It was still chewy. Need it to stay on the grill a little bit longer an extra 20 minutes would’ve been fine. First time I thought it was a mistake but this time I realize that’s just how they make it don’t order the jerk pork.
Great hole in the wall place with delish food! We have tried the oxtail, the jerk chicken and the chicken stew....all very good! More of a take-out since, besides one table outside, there is really no place to sit and eat but we sat outside and it was fine. Very friendly owner's. A must try!
Just started going here about a month now after my Barber told me about them and he is so right, their food is 100% tasty and flavorful. Now I can't stop going there for food. Price is decent and service is good. I do recommend them to someone, somebody, anybody and everybody! More
Food taste good but they're stingy with the amount of meat they give with a huge amount of rice. The meats taste like charcoal from the grill. They need to clean the grill more often because last time I got an upset stomach while eating the jerk chicken. More
Food was awesome; well-cooked; served fast and hot. Loved the rice and peas, chicken was tender and juicy, just how I like my Jamacian cuisine. Barter for the price, though. Some people pay 10$ for same plate you'd pay 5$. Don't get hustled …
I enjoyed eating Brown Stewed Chicken, cabbage with Carrots so tender. Also ordered soup(goat) it was so tasty.. I wished I had ordered two! All this was ordered to go. This place reminded me of shops in Jamaica! Love it! I will Be Back! More
The place looks a little shabby, and there isn't much in the way of an eating area, but wow the food was amazing! The staff seemed really nice if not a bit shy, but on my 2 week trip through Florida, this was my favorite meal I had! (I had
I ordered jerk chicken and rice and peas And cabbage I ordered some beef patty too. The rice was bland the chicken tasted old. It was very dry and they just sprinkle a lil bbq sauce on it. I wouldn't recommend it or buy that again only
I was craving some Jamaican food around 10pm on a Friday and I noticed that they closed at 11 so I went to pick up some food. I got some oxtail and some fried plantains and let me tell you it was to die for. Oxtail was paired with the
Worst Jamaican food ever. Chicken dry as hell. The pork was nothing but fat. Just terrible, stay away from this place trust me there’s way better jerk food in Tampa. The food was also overpriced. The place was also very dirty. More
It’s an intriguing place if you’re a Caribbean person, but I am and it’s not good at all. I had the curry chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. The only good tasting thing was the cabbage.
Today was my first time trying their food and I can say it was really good. I had the Oxtails with white rice and cabbage.. Oh the cabbage was busting too. I will be going back fa sho.
We ordered curry chicken. The curry chicken was seasoned well my only complaint is that they didn't have any veggies. But that's just my preference but will definitely eat there again.
Very friendly owner. Everyone seems very easy going. The food taste just like how you get on the road in jamaica. I loved my jerk chicken.
It's a shack but food was good. Set up for carry out. Been in biz for 13 years. Ox tails and fish dinners were delicious. More
