Came here initially thinking I needed an alignment job. In explaining to the mechanic what I felt from the car, he said it was more just a wheel balancing issue. He could have easily took me for the extra $50 difference in task. I also decided on an oil change since it was due. Cosmetically, a shop who worked my car not too long ago left a piece hanging from the under carriage. They fixed that for me too at no charge when they could have easily done so as it was not their obligation. The staff was very nice. I sat in their office for about an hour while they worked. I have a great mechanic but he's a little far. This shop is about 3 avenues away. I'll definitely be returning if need be. And since my car is 10 years old, with 150k miles, they'll be needs... just wanted to add, they open at 830. If you don't schedule an appt (not sure if they even make appts) show up early! I arrived at 8am and there was someone waiting at the gate already. By the time gates rolled up, about 5-6 people came out of the woodworks. The gentleman whose name I did not catch came out and spoke to everyone very nice and politely. People of all kinds... I read a review insinuating there was an issue with this. Not what I experienced today. I'd definitely recommend

I found this place via Google search, I had a track car project that I wanted to test out and wanted to outsource labor to. Unfortunately, early BMW 335i models overheat too easily for 20 minute racing sessions, so I sold the car. Once I have time for another project car, this place will work on my next project. Loon is a nice guy, transparent, and seems well known locally in Bensonhurst area. He accidentally dinked my car a bit and told me right away, offered to replace whatever was needed, but I intended the car to get abused so didn’t mind. He did the following for my car: 1.5 way differential Engine and turbo Maintenance Coilovers Alignment Poly bushings Wheels and tires Fender rolling (slightly but not crazy as I’ve seen at other places) Bigger radiator Additional oil coolers Front/rear sway bars

This place is the best. I was on my way to a stressful day at work when, naturally, one of my tires popped. I limped over to the shop where it was very busy, but an older well dressed slender gentleman jumped in to repair it quickly and professionally. And for way less than I thought it would be! I don’t think it was necessarily his job, he looked like a manager, but he saw my distress! We’ve had a number of items on the car taken care of here and we have always received an honest, straight up diagnosis. We had a problem with our Subaru’s AC and they suggested we take it to the dealer as they don’t stock the part and it would be more money! Who does that! As a woman, going to these shops can occasionally feel intimidating or like you are being taken advantage of but I have never felt that here.

These mechanics and very good and will take care of your car. Super professional and caring and they really know their stuff. They only downside is that they are on the pricey side. I fixed some stuff at their shop, and they did a pretty good job, but after comparing the prices to other mechanics, their prices are 30-40% higher. Like they would charge you $400 for a certain job (and they do a good job) other mechanics would charge $250-300. Overall, if you can afford it and want your money’s worth (or for nice cars I guess), they will take good care of your car, no joke. But I highly recommend shopping around if you are short on money or your car is old. Personally I will be going to them for critical fixes because I trust them, but for general fixes I’ll shop around first.

The in-person communication is not the best, but they are really really good at what they do. We left our car with them after there was a persistent tire pressure warning symbol even though we already pumped the tires at another auto shop. Best NY Auto Repair Shop discovered that it was not actually a sensor problem, but a computer problem! They easily could’ve overcharged us (like Nissan would’ve ), but they only charged us for fixing the computer and using one new sensor to calibrate all 4 tires.

I was a customer of Tom's corner because of their professionalism and expertise. I grew up fixing cars and can make minor repairs myself. I also have friend who either own shops or work in them. Trust me when I tell you that Loon and his team are just as professional and do as thorough of a job as Tom's did for an even lower cost. They even retained Tom's master mechanic Sonny. Please don't bring your car here because they are even too busy to do my work, JK!

This is our go-to mechanic for any issue that comes up! They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and fair. They will walk you through the problem and do an excellent job fixing the issue. After going to several other mechanics through the years who just brush you off or don’t accurately do work properly, Best Auto makes me feel like they really care and want to help because they know how frustrating it can be to have car issues. Anyway, I highly recommend!

When I first came here I was late and they were closing but they decided they'll squeeze me in. They are honest working people and I appreciate their transparency. They'll help you understand the process in which they will take and are pretty quick. Can always count on loon every time my car has any trouble, cant imagine going anywhere else that will have the same care for me and my car.

This place is amazing!! I had problem with my heat/air conditioner and a leak in my radiator. They fixed the problem within one day. They are honest and cost was not too bad. They're Great! I couldn't find them on YELP, but I had to leave a review for them somewhere! I visited May 2020 to get my inspection done. They cleaned out my hood with sprayed air, fillied my washer fluid, and fillied my tires. They absolutely went over and beyond! Amazing people and amazing service!

The people in here know what they are doing. They have alot of cars in here all the time. They do inspections fairly quickly. They seem to be honest people who aren't trying to rip you off. They do have warranty on certain parts. I would recommend this shop to my family and friends
