My parents just got their roof replaced. Almost 2 months ago, another company started to work on the roof, which my father gave money up front for materials. They did remove the old shingles, but after that, they never came back. A friend referred me to Better Roofing. As soon as the guy came to measure and give a estimate, I felt very at ease with the way the employees carried themselves. With the great affordable price, offer to finance if need be, and just genuine interest from them, my father and I knew that it would be a great decision to go with them. This was of course getting other companies to also give us quotes. The work got done in one day. Everything looked great. The following day we went to the office to go pay the bill and and expressed our gratitude along with some questions. The office manager Ashley, did show interest in fulfilling all that was asked. One concern that we had was that the rain gutter in front had a small gap that wasn't there before. Ashley decided to hold off on the payment until one of the associates would go out to adjust that, which did get resolved within an hour. The whole staff was attentive and mindful of all of our request. Definitely would recommend them to others. My brother will be getting them to come give him an estimate this coming week. He is very interested in getting work done as well.

My wife and I have lived in our home going on 5 years. We had severe hail and wind damage all over our roof. We tried several times in the past to get roofers to provide a quote etc. but we never trusted them or the process. That all changed once we met Javier and Juan of Better Roofing USA. Top notch and impeccable customer service! They replaced my hail damage roof last year and did a fantastic job. Orlando Salazar was awesome and a true professional. Last night was the true test of my roof with the big storm. I noticed a leak in my upstairs laundry room and I determined it was coming from one of the vent pipes. I called Orlando Salazar today and told him that I had a leak. He told me that he will come out tomorrow and call me in the am to give a specific time. Low and behold a couple of hours later after speaking to Orlando, I was away from home during the evening, I receive a phone call from Better Roofing telling me that one of their guys is there to check the leak. Wow, I was expecting to see them on tomorrow. I told the lady on the phone where I thought the leak was. The guy found the leak and fixed the problem. One of the roof boots caved in and was collecting water. They fixed the problem pronto! I have never experienced this fast turn around service in my entire life! I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. They stand by their work. I'm extremely pleased!!!! Also, I'm an Active Duty Military Officer just in case other veterans are looking for a good roofing company that have taken care of veterans.

These are pics of Better Roofing rolling out and applying synthetic underlayment over the old tar paper before removing said tar paper to inspect the wood underneath. I don't know what the purpose of this is because I do not know much about roofing but it would seem that if you cannot inspect the OSB plywood decking underneath the old tar paper, you can't really guarantee that that synthetic is being applied to durable, supportive wood, right? I checked on Google and sure enough, nearly every manufacturer voids any warranty for any shingle if the system with which it was applied did not include inspection of decking and adhering ice and water barrier to the wood itself and then nailing the synthetic on it as well. I guess I could be wrong, but they sure didn't like us taking pictures of them doing this shady thing. They moved very quickly and they had it all covered up in moments. The house next to me and the one across the street both required wood replacement because here in Cibolo, most houses were not built with metal drip edge. But their contractors removed all layers to deck. Seems more thorough that way. Somebody please let me know if I'm wrong. I will gladly change the review

So after the storm about 2 months ago I called this place for a quote on replacing a portion of my roof. The guy that help me came to my house the following morning and the experience was awful. This guy got out of his truck and before me saying anything and without him looking at anything he said. "I recommend you replace the whole roof". The house is less than 5 years old. I told him that it was just a small portion that needed fixing or replacing. I told him the hail didn't even hit my home. I made up a story and told him I had other roof companies come out and they told me that the roof was good. That the only part that needed replacing was the part I told him about. Once I said that he changed his whole story. I do have some experience with roofing so he was not going to take advantage of me. I would never do business with a company with this type of representation. I followed up with him just to see what they would charge me and he said on multiple occasions that he just need to finish the quote. I never got it! I did find someone else to do it.

Not an honest or reputable outfit in my humble opinion. Once they get paid forget about any other fix up work! I tried to give a zero or negative rating, but you cannot go that low??? They replaced the roof the first week of December 2021. It did not leak the last rain we had. One problem was the debris that ended up all over my attic. Orlando Salazar said he would have a man come and clean up. They never did show up. The second problem was the missing "750 Vents" that were not put in, even though they were on the first "contract." They were not listed on the second "contract." I notified J. Carlos Arevalo and sent him a picture of the first contract with the 2 new vents. He came by in January 2022 and went up in the attic. Left a card with my wife and said he would get back. He never did. I tried a text to Carlos weeks ago, and my number is blocked. Find someone else to fix your roof.

EASY business to deal with Better Roofing. Joe and Ashley; Safe, Reliable and Responsible work. Single Family home done with upgrade shingles within 1 day. I appreciate the style and the education provided by Joe when selecting a change for my home. After all, "Home is where the heart is.." These guys were great! After sustaining damage from Hurricane Laura we were in desperate need of a new roof. We saw Joe giving our neighbor an estimate so we called him over. He gave us a great price and they were ready asap to get started. After a rain delay due to Beta the crew came out tore off the old one and had new roof on the same day. They'll be doing several more in my neighborhood. Very happy! Thanks guys! Now when it comes to the referral gift...I wouldn't get excited. We referred a few people, received 2 referral checks of $200, first check was good, second check did not clear. ....UPDATE...So a few weeks after Hurricane Laura, a second Hurricane Delta came through and added fuel to the fire. We were fortunate that our roof had already been repaired and we did not receive any more damage. Thank you again!

Very unprofessional salesman gave me a quote and a date to install. This same salesman called me the weekend prior to the install date and asked if I would allow them to move it up to Monday. I agreed and took off work and waited and they never showed up and didn't bother to call. I called the Midland office which is a joke. The San Antonio office finally got him to return my call. The salesman proceeded to tell me he had forgot that he moved me up to Monday. I had already drilled holes in my roof to mark vents. Shame on me. Anyway, I was not very pleased and let him know it. Not sure if the companies work is any good or not. However, this type of treatment is not what you would expect from a business. A business is only as good as the promises it keeps. If you don't want a job, save your customers time and say so.

My parents house is a old house and we got serval quotes on different roofing companies for our roof that was leaking really bad and we had came across better roofing USA inc , asked questions to customer service about my parents roof and gladly they approved us very fast well Maintained with there service provided , always following up with their Procedures on the roofing installs and inspection very professional and orderly manner definitely had no problems with the company at all , on time , they also cleaned up after themselves picking up every nail off the floor . And did a wonderful job on my parents roofing , came out very professionally and looking like a brand new house because of the roof how they installed it . They were very Excellent on their job would definitely recommend them again .

Mr. Orlando was very easy to deal with , after review of bids I decided to go with Better Roofing, they were able to start in next to days form contact with them. He explained due to Hurricane Laura my options on shingles and he was able to provide the 110 to 130mph shingle we desired in Lake Charles , La. , the crew were very professional and installation was completed in two days as we have a larger home. The yard before and after installation was cleaned and no nails to contend with. I called Mr. Orlando for a roof inspection after Hurricane Delta came thru and he was here to inspect our roof in two days. There was not one shingle missing and that in itself says how good of installation was done on our roof. I would recommend these folks for anyone needing their service. John Edwards

Review from Del Rio Texas let me start off by saying Mike and Armond excellent guys answered all my questions and concern and treated me like family helping me get a roof as quick as they could . I called on a Saturday and addressed my concerns of a baby being born soon and didn't want roofers on the house with a new born baby. The guys made me worry free and said well have a crew there by Tuesday and by Wednesday the roof was done. I can say the quality is excellent because on Friday a 60 mph storm rolled in with about an hour of rain and no leaks or missing shingles. I will be using this company they next time a storm rolls in and damages my roof again. Again thanks to Mike and Armond for treating me like family and taking care of my roof and guaranteeing the roof for 5 years.

Some of their employees were driving a white newer BMW suv. Very erratically and speeding like crazy. I don't know if they were going to a job, home, etc. But really? You couldn't do it in a personal vehicle, you had to do it in a brand new suv with paper plates and ur logos magnetically on the front driver and passenger doors? When I tried to call in about this, whoever answered the phone is about as smart and useful as a box of rocks. I explained to her what was happening and what was going on and told me the owners weren't in but could take a message, and then asked for a description of the vehicle after I just gave it to her.. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the owners speeding around in what they think is their "nice" soccer mom BMW suv; they "think" is fast..

The Better Roofing representative that I dealt with was named Orlando. He was honest, sincere, and friendly in his demeanor and personality. I had a new roof completed on 7 Sept 2023, and I am satisfied with everything from start to completion. They arrived at 0645 hrs, and they completed the roof job by 1600hrs the same day. The crew was professional, efficient, and my roof looks great. An inspection by myself and representative revealed only one small issue. A couple of nails left behind that the crew immediately picked up. The gutters and my yard were cleaned of all debris. Overall I am very satisfied with Better Roofing, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Keep up the good work. Professional from beginning to end.

This company had replaced a roof on our home before we bought it last year. A scammer ce.to the house and said that he was working on a neighbor's roof and saw squirrels going in and.out of the vent and that there would be damage. Unknown to me, he had lifted the side of the vent actually damage it. After they ran away when they found.out that I wouldn't.give them cash to fix the roof, we figured that it.was a Scam. We contacted Better roofing and they came out the next day to check out what was damaged by the scammers, fixed the roof, and did not charge us! What great service! If anyone needs roofing work, this is the company! Sorry this review is so.late, but this is well deserved and not forgotten.

These guys are great. Tony Santos was my point of contact and any time I called, he answered. He came out and inspected my roof and gave an excellent estimate for the damage that occurred from a recent hail storm. I ended up replacing the whole roof. He was very accommodating and knew immediately what needed to be done. Tony kept me post on when his crew was coming. Once the work was complete, he came out and inspected the roof and made sure the site was clean of any nails and debris that the crew missed. I had hail damage to my roof in May 2021. I even had a few holes went through the wood decking. I called Better Roofing and they came out right away to cover the holes while waiting for the insurance company. Mike Z was awesome. He was highly responsive and walk me through the process. My insurance company was playing games and was trying to not pay out what I was owed. Mike was there for the inspections and re-inspections and sent multiple emails and did everything he could until I got what I was owed. He was always available for my questions. The crew showed up on time and did a great job. I highly recommend them and even recommended them to my parents. Thanks you Mike.

Had Javier Sanchez work with me when I had concerns about my roof. He and his co-worker came over for a free walk through and pointed out both hail and wind damage. We worked quickly with insurance and upon approval, scheduled the work right away. The team was there bright and early and finished the job in just one day, even a great cleanup and nail sweep! This was nice so I could move on to other things the next day. A shout out to Javier when we found out one of the nails punctured the A/C freon line as he had some A/C techs come out and fix right away. Outstanding service and did an awesome job. Highly recommend if looking for good inspections and roof replacement.

Juan Carlos gave me great customer service, explained everything to me, and gave me the lowest bid out of the 5 others. He answered my questions, even through text when I was working. The roofing crew was very fast and finished in one day. I understand it had been dreadfully hot so when Juan Carlos inspected the roof I saw some little things not to my liking, so he called the crew back over to do what I asked. One crew member wasn’t happy, I understand it was hot, but I’m the customer and Juan Carlos made sure I was happy! Even my neighbor was with me and also got an estimate for her roof! After damage from a recent hail storm, I filed a claim with my insurance. This was my first roof replacement so I was a little nervous to go through the process. After some wind and hail damage in our neighborhood, I noticed that many of my neighbors were using this company for their repairs so I gave them a call. They were professional, friendly and quick to get me on the schedule for a free inspection. The process could not have been any easier. They met with my insurance adjustor and dealt with everything on that end for me. My roof was started at 8 am the next week and they were finished and cleaned up by the time I got home from work. I am very satisfied to have my roof replaced by Better Roofing with good quality at reasonable price. Tony Santos was my contact and he showed his professionalism to guide me through the whole process from inspection to insurance claim to completion of work. The task was well planned and timely scheduled. The crew came promptly at 7:30am and finished the job at around 4:30pm and then cleared away all the debris. Next day an inspector came to check the work to ensure everything well done. A certificate of 5 years labor warranty was also issued to me. I strongly recommend Better Roofing.

I can’t boast enough of how Gabriel and his crew from Better Roofing came and took care of our roof. They definitely helped us from start to finish. I hired Better Roofing to repair and replace my roof from hail damage. The crew showed up at 7am and were on it! All roofing material was removed and taken away. I was very impressed on how each person had their own section..the demo was fine tuned! It took between 6 or 7 hours to complete the job. Clean up was immaculate! I am extremely satisfied with this company. They took care of all the claim paperwork. The next day Better Roofing sent someone out to check the work, and to make sure I was satisfied! One of the best companies I've seen out there!!!

We had hail and wind damage back in May. Mike Zimmerman came out the same day we called to inspect our roof and to put a patch where tiles were missing. We had to fight out insurance company to get our roof replaced and Mike was a great help with that. We might have given up and just paid it ourselves. The roof was done in one day (single story) and looks great. On the way out of the yard the roofers caught our gate with their trailer. Better Roofing is paying to get it and the post replaced and it will be better than before so no issues there.

Originally made contact with Orlando. Art followed up with some additional information. We made the decision and literally early the next day they team was here and ready to work. They finished the roof on our house in one day. The whole team was very polite, respectful of the property and cleaned as they progressed through the day. By the time they left, the only sign that they were even here was the yard sign they left by the curb. I don't mind doing a little advertising for them since they were great! This house has been in my family since 1968 and when I came back home to live the roof was in bad shape. I called Better Roofing and Tony came out and gave me a bid that was really, really, liveable. I told home my home owners insurance would cancel by 12/6/19, Better Roofing showed up on the 3rd and completed on the 3rd. Victor & Orlando gave me an excellent service. Since the first face to face meeting. They were very professionals and respectful they did the job the day that they told me and his company replaced the whole roof of my house in one day. ( 1 story home 3000 sqft ) They left my house very clean and the next day Victor came to verify that everything was ok. also he personally pass his magnet all around the home to make sure that all ground was clean of nails. We had our roof replaced after a hailstorm. Several neighbors had their roofs done by Better Roofing and were happy with the results, so we did the same. Our point of contact, Mike Zimmerman, did a great job of explaining our options. The job was done in one day including cleanup. Better Roofing was present during the insurance adjuster’s visit, and advocated on our behalf, too. The roof looks great now and it’s much nicer than the old roof.

We are out-of-town owners so we were glad to have this contractor we could trust. Our insurance company referred BETTER ROOFING to us. They were great. We had the whole roof (including underlying sheeting). Good price. Showed up right on time. Got the work done within two days. Cleaned everything up. They even straightened a couple lengths of gutter which was not in their scope of work – added value! Inspector reported excellent completion.

The work on the roof was good. My complaint is with Juan Aguilar. He "gave me his word" he would get a crew to replace rotted fascia on my house. He never fulfilled his promise, once he received his money he ignored my follow up calls and messages. He is untrustworthy and lacks integrity. Why not be honest instead of wasting my time attempting to follow up on work you never intended to complete? Very unsatisfied with Juan's work ethic.

Had a great experience. Used better roofing for an insurance claim / replaced roof. I was referred to them by a friend who recently used them abs I am glad I did. I recently had my roof replaced by Better Roofing USA. I was originally working with another roofing company, but they were not very responsive, and I lost faith in them. I spoke to Diego Fernandez on a Thursday, had a quote the same day and the job was completed in one day the following Monday. The cleanup work was good, the quality and speed of the work was great, and the price was very reasonable.

Insurance estimated quote included replacement of SolaTube that wasn't done. All they say is that they don't do Solatube. Asked for money back and they have been saying since March that they will get someone out. Also had to tell them to replace fascia board in 3 areas and response was that that's not part of the roof. Looks like it to me so they did it after I complained. I will not recommend.

The work that the guys did was good, the process it took was frustrating, for one your drinking on the job and decide to discard beer cans on my yard. Then you go take a piss behind the neighbors building when there is a store across the street. Finally when it's done you leave nails all over my driveway, i don't want to pay for new tires and i don't want my kids to get hurt, by a Damn magnet!

The wind damaged my attic vents during Christmas week and Better Roofing came out to investigate and offered to cover up the holes for me in case of rain and until I figured out what I wanted to do. Once I decided to replace them they came out right away and at the exact time they said they would be there. I thought the price was very reasonable and they did the job very fast and efficiently.
