Great for toddlers, and bigger kids too. Beautiful when jacarandas are flowering. Mostly shaded. Sandpit, 3x slide areas, swayfun, swings, good paved area for scooting or cycling. It’s really popular for kids parties on the weekends so make sure you get there early if you want one of the three shaded areas (two with tables, one with BBQ). More benches have been installed recently, and the potted herb gardens are fun for smelling. Clean toilets, street parking.

Nice open park with good playground, good shade, BBQ & party amenities & plenty of parking. There is a Fig Tree Pocket bus stop right next to the park which is great. Nice pond with a deck for viewing water birds & water dragons. Public toilets available which is very convenient. Great for families! Recommended

A beautiful park overlooking the Brisbane river, plenty of separate areas to set up for a picnic with barbecues as well. A path for children to ride their bikes and swings for them to play on. Beautiful trees and plenty of grass. Parking is a bit limited and you will have to carry your things!

Great shady park for the kids to play in with lots of different play options. Toilets and drink bubblers available. Can stroll down to the dam to feed the ducks. Also some undercover areas. Kids can scooter or ride their bikes along the paths too. Roads nearby aren't too busy either.

Whilst it's not fenced, the park itself is well off the road and surrounded by grass, a pond and a bush section! Lots of room to play. A couple of nice spots to have a group together for a BBQ, and a great playground for both little ones and older kids!

Great park with everything, very clean as well. Has shaded areas, toilets, drinking water, wheelchair friendly play equipment and lots of parking surrounding the park. The pond is a little bit empty, but there still are a few ducks/ wild birds.

Great park for kids. Different aged level playground and large sandpit. There's BBq facilities and some seating. Loads of grassy areas for football etc. A lake with ducks and a large dog area too. Our kids loved it.

Nice playgrounds for different ages/interests (climbing, swings, sandpit, slides, etc), room to kick a ball around. Helpful having close access to toilets, bins and shaded seats, plenty of easy street parking too.

A lovely park focused on families with young children. A number of play areas, shady trees, sheltered areas for picnics or hosting birthday parties and lots of lovely green grass! Fun!

I love this park, it is well maintained and has a great playground. it is a favourite for kids birthday parties. Well done BCC for keeping this and many other parks looking great.

Play ground is child friendly and easily accessible. It has toilets and a water fountain. The only down side is it isn't fenced. Kids love going to see the ducks and the turtles.

Lots of shade and a great playground with lots of activities, equipment and imagination play opportunities. One of our kids favourites in Brisbane and never too busy

Good place to hangout and there's morning workouts on Thursday starting at 9:30am. Bring a towel, water and a yoga mat. Need to watch out for fire ants though.

Excellent family picnic area, great for spending the day with the family with open spaces for the kids to play and great pathways for short walks to the river.

Had a quick BBQ and walk around the dam. The water smells a bit but overall was definitely worth it and has play facilities for kids. Nice neighborhood too.

It was better before the flood, but now it is a neat little park in which there are big shady trees and plenty of physical entertainment for little kids.

Quiet spot, great for group catch-up with kids. There are a couple of under cover sitting areas. BBQ was out of order when we were there last time.

Green Quite perfect for families with kids, birthday parties and Barbecue Parties. Good place to take a photos and walk around.
