Bicycle Depot provided me with incredible service and they've earned a customer for life. They had my vintage 10-speed bike ready-to-ride in the same day I dropped it off. Read further for the whole story and all the details. Years ago I purchased a bunch of bike parts from various sources with the intent of fixing up my old bike. I gave up on that project shortly after I discovered the parts were not fitting correctly. This morning I phoned Bicycle Depot and explained my problem. Rick was very understanding of the situation and assured me that he could get the bike up and running. I brought the bike along with a bucket of parts to the shop for an estimate. Rick gave me a quote and said the bike would be ready by the end of the day. My phone rang not even 5 hours later and Rick enthusiatically said "my beauty" was ready for pickup. He wasn't lying. This 50 year old bike looked brand new when I picked it up and I couldn't be happier. There are many bike shops in this city that would have pressured me to purchase a new bike, fortunately that was not the case with Bicycle Depot. Rick was very respectful of my needs and of the old bike I had brought to the shop. He did a great job in keeping the 'vintage look' of the bike like I had requested. Whether you show up with a cheap bike, or a $10k bike, you will not be judged or pressured by the staff at Bicycle Depot.

Bought a bike from Rick and Rob about 5 years ago from a recommendation from a friend, and have not gone to another bike shop since! They've always found a solution for my budget. A few years ago my bike tires were punctured, they fixed it asap. Couple years later, when I wanted to try using a bike trainer for the winter, I had asked about getting an indoor trainer wheel vs changing to a training tire - they never oversold me and took the time to explain the process and taught me how to secure the trainer I had purchased on kijiji! Most recently, I moved out of town, and my wheels were stolen while locked in my condo :( see pic. I researched bike shops near me but decided to bring my bike back to Rick and Rob because they always listen and do a great job! They looked for used options to fit my budget, and in the end came up a functional and cost effective solution! Both are super knowledgeable and friendly to recreational bike newbies like me. Highly recommend - I've told many friends to come here since!

I brought my vintage Italian racing bike in last week, it had been in an accident and needed substantial work, the shop was getting very busy with the good weather we had been having but the owners Rob and Rick were very helpful and took the time to go over the bike with me. Rick promised it would be restored in about a week but called one day early and told me the bike was ready. When I went to pick up the bike I was very pleased as he had not only done the work as promised but also given me a free seat as there were some complications with the crank and he tried to be fair with me for which I was very much appreciative. Bottom line these guys are easy and fun to deal with, they are honest and their prices are fair. I will let them service my bike from here on in and will purchase all my accessories from them. The Bicycle Depot on Albion rd is totally amazing. What I am impressed about is the crew. Especially Rob and Rick the 2 brothers and their crew. They are extremely knowledgeable about bicycles, and they do a fantastic job in making sure bicycles are safe and well maintained. I always went for brakes tightening, wheel check, and more. However, yesterday August 23, 2021, I had an issue with my brakes and a gash in my front tire. They took my bicycle in and fixed the braking system making my bicycle completely safe and they replaced the tire. I was back on the road in 15 minutes. Therefore, no more worries while riding. I tested the new braking system and its amazing. I recommend people to visit the bicycle depot on Albion rd for bicycle inspection and repairs. Thank you for everything you all have done for me!!

A1+ sales and service. I caught the cycling bug a decade or so ago and this shop was the only one that asked the right questions, they were honest, and made prices competitive for me. I had my eyes set on a hybrid and this store had the best price in the city. Rick and Rob asked the right questions…what are you going to use the bike for? What kind of riding do you do? Most shops rarely ask this question and on top of that the brothers recommended another hybrid that was cheaper. Long story short I ended up going for the one I wanted but as months went by, I immediately ended up upgrading months. I would visit the store for knowledge and these guys answered all my questions and even showed me a thing or two about bike builds. This store is a hidden gem in Toronto and I wish Rick and Rob all the best!

Theres a reason why this shop is busy all year round. This shop has always been my family's go-to bike shop. A family ran business, the two brothers are amazing. I recently brought my girlfriends bike in for a complete tune-up and repair, and they suggested some work that needed to be done so it can be ridden safely. They got it done in 3 days and it turned out exactly how she wanted it, or even better than anticipated. After I got her bike back, I needed my own road bike tuned up and properly inspected, They did it on the spot. I recommend anyone who needs their bikes repaired. 100% Honest people that care for their customers. I will forever go to them for any bike related repairs/tips. Real Gem! After shopping around the GTA for my first high end road bike, I went to 10+ stores and my friend strongly recommended Bicycle Depot. Without any sales pressure I got a superior Bike for the same or less money than all those other stores! This family owned business has been in business for over 20 years because they have the best price, best service and spend the time to explain differences in product quality. Best of all, they stand behind their sales as they provide complimentary services after purchases such as one annual tune up. Shop around then come back to them before you buy anything anywhere else. They will try to give you a better bike for the same price!

THE BYCYCLE DEPOT IS AN EXAMPLE OF AN ETHICAL BUSINESS. The owners care so much about Customer satisfaction which is hard to find in businesses now-a-days. My son’s bike was going flat on rear tire after being repaired twice last year which was frustrating . I took the bike almost after a year to the Bike depot today and they not only fixed the rear tire & tube but also changed the front tire and tube WITHOUT ANY COST. On top of it, he apologised for any inconvenience due to the flat tire. I was totally awed with their demeanor and want to thank ROB AND RICK from bottom of my heart. It is hard to find such good human beings now-a-days.

I've recently started coming to these guys to get my bike fixed(obviously) and I can say, without a doubt, that they are amazing at what they do. Every time I come through those doors, they're always able to tell me what's wrong(Evaluations are free). They give out excellent customer service and I respect them a lot for what they do. Came here based on good reviews. And I am happy that I did. I am very pleased with their service. From the minute they checked our bike, to the time we picked up our bike, Rob made sure that what we paid for is worth all the cost. My husband and I didn't want to spend more than our budget, so we decided to not get everything we needed. But Rob felt our needs and fixed our bike without extra charge. Rob is amazing. Really knows his stuff. We brought to him a complicated issue with an air pump, and he patiently walked us through the entire process. Very friendly and nice to deal with as well. I would highly recommend this shop for any maintenance/repair work, and even if they are not the closest shop to us, we will most certainly be using these guys for all our future requirements. Had to get a tube replaced, so I searched online for a shop close to where I was staying . Being on vacation from Illinois I had no idea of a reputable place. But after a few different shop reviews I chose the Bicycle Depot & I'm glad I did Rick gives customers such a friendly professional greeting. In less the the 15 minutes he stated it'd be I was out the door and on my way with a newly mounted tube and 2 extras for the uneventful times in future the need may arise. All for an affordable $50. The best bike shop I have ever seen. What I really liked about them is their honesty and friendliness. Whatever I asked, they took time to explain and they know what they are doing (pretty knowledgeable). Rob and Rick are doing great job with servicing any kind of bikes at a great speed. Prices are also very good and compete most of the time with online plus you get their expert view and after sales services which make it superb. All together it has been several great experiences with them and definitely 5 star.

I recently had a derailleur breakdown while on a ride in the city, it was 5pm and they closed at 7. I called to check parts availability and asked if I could come in for the service right away. Turns out I didn’t count my sprockets properly, and luckily they still had the correct part. I was in and out of the shop within 30 minutes and back on my ride to join the guys. These gentlemen were kind, knowledgeable and informative all while providing a top notch service. Thanks again, I would highly recommend.

Rob & Rick are no doubt the best in the city, if not the country. From the moment you step into the store they treat you with respect and immediately make you feel welcome and that help is exactly what you'll get. I've been going to them for 4 years now and have helped me with all my needs: prepping a bike for my first triathlon, gear, new wheels and tires for my road bike, a good laugh - everything! Go and see them, and if you're a ways away, the trip will be worth it.

Went in to get my tires fixed because they both had dry rot and the back tire was totally blown out. Ended up getting a brand new mountain bike from these guys instead of trying to fix my 20yr old bike I had when I was in high school. Took the bike out for a ride with my daughter on the Humber River trail, and it rode amazing. Will definitely come back. Only draw back is my bike was missing a kick stand, oh well my bad I should have ask for one when I was in the shop.

The rear derailleur on my bike was completely damaged, the chain came off gear wheel. I found Bicycle Depot on Google and decided to try based on positive reviews. They fixed my bike and also make a few minor adjustments and fixes and didn't charge me anything extra. The price was very reasonable. They were very friendly and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I would recommend Bicycle Depot as great place to fix a bike.

I had an okayish experience. I don’t know where they procure their products from but everything is almost double or triple compared to Amazon. The person up front told me a decent helmet would cost $79 but median price on Amazon for a decent helmet is about $30. Same idea for the seat which I did buy from them. I guess there is no end to the profits people want to make in the name of not being able to operate during COVID.

I took my 20 year old seriously in need of help bike I thought it would cost a fortune to fix into the shop. Not only did it not cost much at all but they went above and beyond to make sure that I road away in what now feels like a brand new bike. I strongly recommend this bike shop, it is my favorite in the GTA. The owners are very nice people who always provide excellent customer service. They have helped me diagnose and fix multiple issues with my bike over the years. They carried out the repairs at reasonable prices and returned my bike quickly. I highly recommend this store for your bicycle repairs. Honest pair of brothers who are also very polite and very customer service oriented. The store fixed my wheel with a defective presta valve core. Wanted to give them $20 for their troubles but only charged me $10! Will take my road bike there to get adjusted and hopefully fix my issues with my saddle soreness!

I Come to these guys for all my bike(s) maintenance and upgrades, and they never disappoint! The owners are stand up guys, and have been super helpful with accommodating pick-up dates, and sharing their professional opinion. The owners are knowledgeable and proficient in terms of what they are doing. I got my new bike tuned up for only $25, where I was expecting somewhere between 40 to 50. Staff are confident and friendly, got the bike done in 10 to 15 mins. I am very happy of their service, highly recommended, will definitely be back if I need to.

Been going there since they opened in 1998 and this guys are amazing they have always done a great job at repairing my bikes with no issues. They have fair prices are very knowledgeable and we have purchased 3 bikes from them. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and now my son wife and daughters all go there as well.

Rick & Rob helped me build up a new mountain bike. Gave me the benefit of their years of experience and was able to source me what I needed to get my bike to where I want it. I am now on my first road bike and I've come in for help and advice. I came out with a bike that was adjusted to fit me so much better.
