The restaurant was understandably quite empty between 9 and 10.30pm on a Sunday. The ambiance is warm and friendly, no frills. The staff is very professional and helpful. Service is prompt and very satisfying. Although their restrooms are up a flight of stairs, they are refreshingly clean and customers have a choice of having their meal down stairs or up stairs. Their seating arrangement appears anticipate large groups of little children. Indeed they have a kids play area properly secured behind sturdy metal grills to avoid children wandering off. They have many motorbike riders collecting orders which testifies to the quality and freshness of their meals.

Generally clean and the staff are very friendly however, take a while to offer service. Food is good and tasty as well. I recommend you go for the pork or beef ribs with 8 pcs you will be satisfied once done plus its also value for money. Local beers are highly priced for no apparent reason and the option for draft beers needs an acquired taste to enjoy. They have a designated area for the little ones to expense energy. Bill payment via MPESA is confused as the number reflects PizzaMojo as opposed to BigSquare which was confusing. There limited parking available though.

The time I was visiting in Kenya had a drop-in to have a meal at this restaurant, it is a beautiful environment. I would like to call out a Maureen, one of the personnel, who waited on for orders and served us really well.

Definitely one of my favourite places. The moment you step in, the personnel make you feel right at home. They are super super awesome and I insist super awesome! (mostly because they came together and did a birthday song for me in 2021 and I was really flattered, I'll never forget that btw). Thank you Big Square Bellevue team for such great memories. If you happen to pass by Mombasa road on your way from Nairobi, do pass by Big Square and try their bbq ribs...thank me later. Add a glass of their ginger dawa while you're at it.

The ambience is good. The service however is a pale shadow in comparison. Been here several times and experienced upto 20min before a waiter can serve you and upto 40min before you receive your order. Yesterday however took the crown! Ordered a burger which was delivered exactly 45 min later. I ate my burger halfway then asked my waiter to wrap the rest as I had to run. Lo and behold when I got home my half burger was missing!! But why would you just wrap the chips and throw away my burger?? Utterly disappointed!! ☹️

This place is truly commendable and very comfortable to stay and hold meetings

Big Square ribs never disappoint. Couple that with their happy hour selection and tasty milkshakes, this place makes for an afternoon full of fun. The kids also have a great selection fr the kiddie menu and the play area.

It has an indoor kids play area and an outdoor one. Great for a warm afternoon as it's sheltered from the afternoon sun.

It is a good place to stop and grab something to eat as you fuel. There is ample parking and a children's play area with outside sitting space which allows you to monitor your child as you eat. The food is affordable, the service however was a bit slow but it was worth it because the food was fresh and their chicken pieces were very juicy. The after-sell service was good and their staff are very friendly. Also, their milkshakes are awesome.. Definitely worth having.

Perfectly located on Mombasa road, it’s so convenient for anyone in the South B, South C, Embakasi and environs beyond who wanna have a great family time as they wind down, listen to great music in the background, watch their kids play in the play area as well as catch up with friends and maybe play a board game or two for FREE! The waiting service are always smiling and very welcoming

Nice clean place to sit and eat. Waitresses are really friendly and patient. Unfortunately that changed when you order and eat at home. The same portion is at home way smaller as it was in the restaurant. That's not fair. You guys charged me extra for extra chili on my pizza, but the chilli was missing when the pizza arrived. That's an absolute no-go!!! So only 2 stars.

Cool chic, friendly and polite waiters I want to mention names, but... thanks Ch**** and Co. This is a super awesome trendy hangout spot. Built with glass windows and beautiful lighting, which adds aura to the already sleek style and design. Big Square gives Shell Mombasa road sort of a face lift with it's urban vibe. A must go soon especially since it's fairly new.

Last I was there it was raining and a little section of the upper deck had not to be used because it was leaking. The waiters stand at the stairway causing obstruction as you go up the stairs. They take this time to get an order or even bring the menus. The chefs make sure the food is at bar and good quality. you just need to be a bit more patient with the waiters

I cannot say enough how much i love the house wine in Big Square. The service in this branch is a little slow. I love their salad. It comes in a big bowl and there are avocados and bacon and chicken...Trust me its really good. It's near a petrol station incase you need to fill up. Used to love their pork ribs....haven't had those in a while though

The place is generally beautifully designed. I like the glass exterior with a nice view of Mombasa road traffic. The seating is nice, wooden and spacious. As with such prime locations, getting parking can be a problem. Play area for kids is decent. Food quality and it's presentation has been deteriorating in my view

The service was very poor. Slow and dirty tables. No one had cleared the table we sat on. Had to walk and look for a waiter to clean. The order has still not arrived an hour later and now waiting for take away option. I have observed 5 waiters crowding at the cashier's .... Offering no service to customers.

I ordered takeaway but my meal was not fresh on arrival,the box had dust on it and fries are not well cooked just dripping oil I had to recook it again cz been trying to call the shop but the phone ain't going through. So embarrassing.

Great food place with great food. They have really big burgers and sumptuous pork ribs. The ambience is great overlooking Mombasa road highway. However their service is too slow and it took over 30 minutes to deliver my order even after requesting them to hasten. Don't go when in a hurry

The place is good with great interior and good view of the busy Mombasa road. The parking is very small so at peak hours it would be difficult to get a parking slot. However the ribs are worth parking in the middle of Mombasa road and leaving your car there. Awesome service too.

Rather nice place,great ambience with a playground for children and very tasty milkshakes. I specifically love the mint and oreo shakes. Found the pork ribs rather dry and had little meat on them. Also the tables were dirty and the waiters take forever before attending to you.

It was fun with a group of my friends coming to enjoy pizza, but gone are the days we miss pizza made by Chef John Okoth. His handwork product was loved by Many I would love to see this chef near the oven again , and all my friends will crowd again for tasty delicacy pizza.

Friendly prompt service. The food was great and satisfactory. Great decor and design with plenty of light all over the restaurant. Sufficient parking space available with a drive through for take away. A bit of disruption though with ongoing construction of the expressway.

I like the ambience, the music and the staff. The presentation is more that what I expected or even thought of. Lately, they have been hampered by the Nairobi Expressway construction and so, parking has been a challenge to say the least. However, quite a nice space.

Awesome place to fuel ⛽ and recharge while stuck on mombasa road. A plus is the big square restaurant next to it. Happened to pop in while rushing to JKIA and the service at shell coupled with the breakfast at Big square was one spectacular way to start a long day.

If you really need a cosy place to wind down and enjoy a great meal. This place would be a great place. The Burgers are humongous don't be deceived by how small they look on the menu. I tried the beef double, boy did I sweat, I had recruit my date to assist me!

Good place but so close to the roadside, therefore prone to lots of dust. It needs a better parking space, but the food is good and the services not bad.

This place is well lit, and easily accessible from the main road, lots of parking and even offers a drive through ordering. The food is good such as all other big squares. Order their burgers and don't forget their amazing chip dip

I like the position of the big square, the quaint kid area and the outside view, and the upstairs seating which is quite spacious. Lovely decor. And good food! The ribs are amazing! The grilled chicken is also amazing. Prices fair.

Such a great place to relax and have some good time with family and not crowded that adds another 6th point.Grrat waiting staff especially Patrick I give him 5 stars he knows how to get a customer feel welcomed big up Patrick.

It's an okay place to take your family.There's nothing much to write home about but it's good enough.It was quite well thought of to bring it in Bellevue cause it's easy for those going to Athi River or beyond to access it.

The food is amazing, the service is also amazing. The place is beautiful and quite spacious as well. We recently had a birthday lunch there and they agree to have outside cake brought in and they even store it for you.

Nice ambience at the upstairs sitting area. Ground floor area is too sunny to sit in the afternoon. Parking is a challenge. The food is passable and the ice cream is very very nice. A plus is the children's play cot.

Always have nice menu to choose from, good quality of food, nice ambience to spend time with your mate, family and friends. Proper parking and security. Kids play area to take care of kids. I enjoyed and I recommend.

Great food, great ambiance, the cocktails are lethal (hehe), the staff are so helpful and available, it doesn't take long to order and the food is quite affordable! This is my favourite Big Square branch in Nairobi.

Worst drive through experience!! It was an unpleasant location. SLOW SERVICE.... i mean drive throughs should be quick but I think we spent around half an hour and we were the only ones! The food was great though.

The burgers were completely cold. When we asked for them to be warmed, it took about 15 minutes which really messed our time. Also the waiter serving us had a very strong smell of sweat.

I had a chance to taste their pork chops. They were well spiced and tasty, juicy. I love how it looks and the setup it has . The service was fast despite it being busy.

Nice place with great ambience.. Food is great.. oh and they have happy hour for cocktails from 5pm to 8pm every day. Great value for money.. especially their pizzas.

Burger was slightly bland the meat didn’t have much flavor. The iced coffee was great Frappuccino was good . Service awesome.

It along the Express Way and Mombasa Road. It is also near Nairobi National Park therefore it can act as a tourist stop over.

Decent “fast food,” at least the BBQ is! And there’s free WiFi and the staff is friendly. Busy busy road out front. …

Nice place with good food my issue is that the food is never hot, just warm in spite of being served on a hot plate.
