If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is horrible, DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my favourite bracelet here for a quick fix and was scammed. My gold bracelet CHAIN broke. It was my grandmother's bracelet, and I had been wearing it for over 10 years. The chain is very fragile so it breaks often; when this happens I go to the jewelry store in Laval close to my house and the jeweller fixes it in 5 minutes at no charge. My usual store was closed for a month so in the meantime, I decided to try this new place Larente -- BIG MISTAKE! I messaged the jeweller on Facebook with a picture of my bracelet, and he said it would cost only 15$ to fix. The next day, I drove over there and showed him my bracelet, he said he would need to keep it for a bit over the weekend to work on it. I had doubts since my usual jeweller fixes it on the spot, but I trusted him and left it there. ONE WEEK passes by and still no call. When I called him to ask about my bracelet, he says "Ohh yeah the one with the gems, it'll be ready soon..." Finally, nearly 2 weeks after I dropped it off, I go to pick up my bracelet and it looks completely different. The gems were different shapes and shades of blue. I thought I was crazy so I didn't say anything. He charged me 20$. After a week of wearing it, A GEM FALLS OUT! Keep in mind, I wore this bracelet for 10 years and never ONCE has a gem fallen out. The chain has broken a couple of times but never the gems. I knew for sure that he had stolen my gems and replaced them with glass or something. This was my grandmother's bracelet and it meant so much to me. I cried so much I hate him and this place. I repeat: DO NOT GO HERE!

Best experience ever Bijouterie Larente made my 20 year anniversary diamond ring and what a ring! The quality of diamonds and the setting is so beautiful. Best price on the market. When I got evaluated it was double of what I paid. If you are worried about trusting jewellers, this is the place. Best service and top quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My children also had engagement and wedding rings done here and you cannot compare quality & price with anybody else.

I no longer trust them for appraisals. Brought an engagement ring to check stone settings, gold quality. It was weighed and appraised. I find out after the ring is magnetic... Embarrassing experience when my fiancé's ring started flaking days after proposing. Edit: It turns out the rock is glass as well, somehow missed that.

It was my first time going there after reading positive Google reviews. I had 2 gold chains repaired, and was super impressed! He charged such a fair price, had it ready to pick up within a week (no rush on my end) and somehow my chain looks and sparkles even more than before! Will be my go-to place from now on!

Very disappointed. I brought an old family ring in to be evaluated before passing it to my son, to use as an engagement ring. She said yes, but two days later, the gold plate started flaking off. My son did a quick check with a magnet, which proved it was not solid gold, how humiliating for us all.
