Bill Miller is like BBQ's version of McDonald's; tasty food, good service, good price, if average. For lunch, shared 2 chopped BBQ beef sandwiches & had potato salad & tea. For breakfast, friend had Cowboy Breakfast with biscuits, cream gravy & bacon, tea to drink. I tried the new Breakfast Sandwich with sausage, fresh folded egg & cheese on a biscuit, drank coffee. Will NOT order sandwich again; wrapped in foil, top of biscuit stuck to it. Cheese melted everywhere, egg made fresh, but tasted bland. Sausage patty good, if average.

I went to drive thru and my visit soured from there. I have had a CVA and two TIAs, so my speech mechanisms sometimes do not work. While placing order I could not speak and the delay in response meant we were talking over each other . A question was asked and I replied that I was lost - never got a response so I went inside. Inside I had to wait 10 minutes, employees were checking their phones. Customer in front of me asked a young employee a question - his response was to point at the female working the register and then go back to his phone. I ordered and my order was incorrect . I like Bill Miller but I have had problems with 3 out of last 5 orders . Will just have to go to another location next time. Food was good but customer service was non existent. Would be understandable if they were busy but today it was light and one hour before closing. Most companies have rules concerning cell phone use, either Bill Miller's does not or they are not adhered to and management doesn't care.

A familiar and typical TX bbq joint. Order at the counter and get your food cafeteria style. I ordered to go so we could eat later. The Rodeo plate — 2 ribs, chicken breast with wing attached, about 5 ounces of brisket, mac n cheese, cole slaw, potato salad, sauce, and a roll. $20. Ribs were the best of the meats done just right with nice spice and smoke. Brisket tender and moist but not much smoke or bark, the chicken could’ve used more smoke too and was dry but this was 3 hours after plating too; should’ve asked for dark meat. The slaw best of the sides being vinegary and crisp. Potato salad ok. Mac n cheese out of a can but I horked it down fast enough. Haha. There’s too many other places to try so I won’t go back to this one but it was convenient and more than adequate.

Ordered Mac n cheese yesterday, and were told there'd be a wait. Waited for a while in line basically about the time they told us the wait would be for a fresh batch. Got in and paid, got our order and started to take off. This is where your reputation precedes you: pulled up to check our order, and lo and behold no m n c. Not once at the window was there a mention that there was still a wait for it. Then, to make it worse, went inside for another 6 min wait(we're at 15 mins by now) only to be told it still wasn't ready. After another 7 mins passed, went back in to finally get our order. The miscommunication was horrible on your part, and the service was terrible. Mind you, this was peak time on a Sunday, and being ill prepared for the prices you charge is unfair and unacceptable. Please be better!

The bathrooms lacked TP (womens) and were kinda dirty. When we're ordered there was a silly kid mopping right at the end where you exit to go to the tables and he was going to just leave it soaking wet. I made a comment about not wanting to fall and he was rather rude so a manager came over yo see what the fuss was about and made him dry it up but geez he should have known better than to mop there in first place when customers are right there and then not be snotty either. The food was good. However, it did take awhile before they put out bread for customers on the little island so I didn't get any as we had already finished by the yome the bread came out. I would like to caution customers to check your food before you leave or dont eat it if you get a bad order. On 8-16-20, at 8:42 pm. I purchased a chicken sandwich and the breading was dry and brown and flaked off completely the chicken had a white stuff on it , which I thought was old dry cream. Flaked that of too. As I bit into The chicken breast it you could tell it was dry and old. What a disappointment. Got jipped. I cant believe who served it couldn't see what they were serving. What disrespect to customers to serve us old food and think well just let slide because of the pandemic. I won't be too supportive of restraunts during pandemic. Who knows what else were given that we dont know about. I expected it maybe from other small food restraunts but not the Bill Millers.

My favorite restaurant in Texas, my family ate there tonight after my grandmother's memorial service. We arrived at 840 pm, 20 minutes before closing. Staff was EXTREMELY welcoming, no rush to get us out of there, food was still hot and fresh. As we were finishing up, they gifted us some pies and food that would've gone to waste. 10 out of 10 stars. Everytime eating here is an amazing treat. Thank you from our family to yours! God Bless!

Went in today wesdnesday at 11ish wanted fresh chicken the tall lady manager said sure and when she brought it to me and I sat down with family it was hot and fresh when she mentioned don't burn your tongue I thought she was just playing .I love this place clean dining room fresh food tasty and delicious wasn't disappointed manager even had a sense of humor most people don't even speak to there customers. I don't eat in at this location much. I use the drive thru a lot. They are fast and sometimes you NEED to check your order before you leave the lot. This place always forgets something to give you at the window. (Why? . Don't know, but this place does.) The Inside is small. The restroom is a little tight, but It's clean. The parking is good. Can't miss it. (Its on the corner) the staff is nice. They don't smile a lot, but that's ok. The good chicken makes up for that. The tea is the best. Your first refill is free. Next one is probably ¢.50. (bring your own mug ¢.50-.89.) Ok, good luck

Well the cashier was talking too fast didnt give me time to actually order what I wanted. I really felt rushed when she was assuming i wanted the same thing my friend ordered. I understand fast service but there wasnt even a line for her to be rushing to take our order and speaking so fast as well. Like i previously mentioned she was rushing us to order. With all due respect she spoke so fast that it was really difficult for us to understand what she was saying. I didnt get a name but her hair was pink or red under her cap. I was not a happy customer tonight at this location.

Workers were slaking they only serve breakfast untill 9 I believe and I showed up at 7:30 and they hadn't heated up the carne guisada so I had to wait 30 minutes and they where telling people they were out of stuff they should have had ready, and the meat in the carne guisada wasn't cooked all the way neither was the sausage in the sausage and egg, and I love bill millers breakfast but this location wasn't on point, if you only serve breakfast for a few hours they should at least be ready to serve it, I got up early to catch it and they didn't have it.

Came in with a group of 4 people. One couple ahead of us and another couple already sitting down waiting for their food. Total of 3 orders, with one car at the drive through. We waited 20 to actually order our food, with the other two people in my group waiting an additional 10 minutes. Order two sweet teas, and after waiting 10 minutes eating with no drinks, we had to go up to the front and ask for them. Poorly managed and run restaurant. Sure, maybe they're short staffed, but 20 minutes of standing around before we can even order is ridiculous.

Good food and exceptionally quick service. I highly recommend Bill's for lunch if you want good food and don't have the time to just wait around.

Ordered a family order of fried chicken, it was great. My only issue or complaint is in their single servings, if you get a single serving of beans or potato salad the bowl is full almost too the point of not closing. Yet twice now I have gotten a serving of rice and the serving looks like it is barely covering the bottom. I just want to know what size spoon are they using for portions and why are the rice portions not full like everything else. #stillfullneedingmorerice

The employees were very rude through the drive through . My chopped buns were all smashed , and my brisket wasn't even covered right . My sauce was all over the foil , and my order seemed thrown into the bag . I asked for P.O bags , but only received one for a big order . An employee said she gave me 3 , but I stayed and checked the bag and there was only one . She said I'd have to pay alot extra for one more . Won't be returning to this Bill Miller's location .

Come on in - if you haven't been here lately- please stop by. There is new store manager, Mr. Jimenez. He is attentive to your personal experience. People here are friendly. Food is great! Their Sweet tea is amazing!! And I like that this place can sit large parties ...they can accommodate us on Sunday after church and we have one wheelchair one walker,for our 2 elderly grandparents 4 children one in a high chair and a total of 6 adults. 10 total there's never a wait and they always get the food orders correct! Prices are not too bad considering how great the food is!

My family and I ordered chicken and tenders…the whole order was cold even the fries then the bread was cold and hard. We let manager know and they replaced our order this time the chicken was not cooked all the way still pink inside and we never got our tenders was told to wait 7mins…20 mins went by and nothing we just ended up getting our refund.

Good experience with the actual food. I typically just order take out as I work nearby. But what’s interesting here is that if you order to go, the waiting area is hot. Why? Would this be allowed to stand. at a Northside Bill Millers? Seems odd that other locations are in better shape than restaurants on the Southside even though Bill Millers started on Southeast side. What a shame!

I went to jet some breakfast tacos. Ordered an it took almost 30 minutes to get a few tacos. It seem like the drive through was more important. And Taylor and her coworker were all over the place. Didn’t even know which tocos go were. I love coming to this bill millers. But it’s breakfast service is starting to really suck.

The service is slow for food that's already prepared. The prices have gone up, which I understand but you've cut back on the portions. B&B Smokehouse and Dee Willie's on the Southside, their prices have gone up, but they haven't cut back on their portions. I will go to this places instead.

I've known this location literally all my life, and in all these years, very little has virtually changed... except for the menu. Bill Miller's food has gotten better with age. The menu has expanded to include breakfast, tacos, (and breakfast tacos!) and the meat is smokier overall.

Got charged yesterday twice for the chicken meal on curbside. Went today to get brisket with mac and cheese through drive thru and they gave me just mac and cheese. Would have gave them 5 stars if they didn't make mistakes twice on the orders.

I love coming here in the morning. I feel so bad for the employees on drive thru because the school is so loud but they manage to get everything correct still. I love me some potatoe and egg tacos!

The food is consistently good. The sweet tea is the best. I usually swing by for a swig. The need to bring back the rye!

Me and my husband went there today. We ordered poorboys meal. On curbside. We didn't have to wait Too long. And they gave us all the condiments we ordered. And the food was very hot. And good too

Went right at lunch time and ordered the family chicken meal. Food was super cold and the fries were old and hard.

Went tru drive tru ,when got my order went home my food was all over bag like if they just threw in there my barbeque sauce not cover all over bag .very rude service ..poor quality.

Really Good food. Staff is friendly and fast. Dining in Available. Walk up and Curb service and Drive thru available. This place is spaced out and a comfortable environment to eat.

Love eating the biscuits and gravy and the sausage with beans tacos. Also, love getting the poor boys whether it's beef chicken or sausage I like munching under food. More

This place sold me a family fry and a tae for $8. Wow now you tell me if this is worth:$8.

It has changed since the 2021. Prices are higher, with that said, more meat or fried chicken on poor boys or plates. For instance, 3 chicken strips & 1 side for $9.00

This is the worst place to order food, waited more than 5 minutes for tea, I guess they don't have enough people working bit don't recommend this location at all.

I had the bbq chicken plate . The chicken portion was too small. The sides were ok. Place was clean. The employees were nice n helpful because I'm disabled.

Picked up a doordash order and the employees sent me back and forth to each register MULTIPLE TIMES, due to their confusion. I only like eating there lol

The web is good the Mac is good the tea is great the Green Piece everything is all great and I love it keep doing what y'all keep on doing thank you

Food was dry I understand it was 8 and they close at 9 and they want to go home still food was not good will not go back to that location More

I got a breakfast platter and these people didn’t give me my tortillas they want full price but can’t give you full price items

Portions for the tender combo got smaller. 10 fries and 3 very small tenders. The service is slow even when it's not busy.

Service is always slow and employees always have an attitude. Chicken is good though.

Do not eat at this location chicken was so dry and over fried couldn’t eat it

Best bbq on southside off military dr besides my bbq and tea is the bomb
