"It was a good Corned beef Reuben and fries, I've never seen so much pepper on fries , it was a nice balance with the sea salt, but seriously ,one may have thought the pepper container opened up, or they were perturbed that I was ordering before the kit hen closed or it's just a Seattle thing,I like pepper as it's a natural antibacterial, and I am a Chef, so it's all good"

Blarney Pub, located in Seattle, is a delightful Irish pub that left me thoroughly impressed with their outstanding culinary offerings. From their mouthwatering Reuben sandwiches to their invigorating Irish coffees, and not to mention their captivating Sky Kraken Hazy IPA, this establishment truly knows how to satisfy the cravings of food, drink, and beer enthusiasts alike. Let's start with the culinary masterpiece that is their Reuben sandwich. The moment I took my first bite, I knew I had found sandwich heaven. The combination of tender, flavorful corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, melted Swiss cheese, and the perfect amount of dressing, all nestled between two slices of toasted rye bread, was pure bliss. Each ingredient played its part harmoniously, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. The Reuben at Blarney Pub is a must-try for anyone seeking a sandwich experience that is nothing short of exceptional. Pairing perfectly with their delectable Reuben sandwiches are the strong and invigorating Irish coffees served at Blarney Pub. The expertly crafted blend of rich, robust coffee and a generous pour of Irish whiskey is a delightful treat for both coffee lovers and those seeking a little pick-me-up. Topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa, each sip offers a delightful balance of warmth and indulgence. The Irish coffees at Blarney Pub are the ideal accompaniment to a hearty meal or a cozy evening with friends. But the culinary delights don't end there. Blarney Pub also boasts an impressive selection of craft beers, and one standout among them is the mesmerizing Sky Kraken Hazy IPA. This brew is a true work of art, exuding a captivating golden hue and a gentle haze that hints at the burst of flavors to come. The Sky Kraken Hazy IPA offers a delightful balance of hoppy bitterness and tropical fruit notes. With every sip, you'll experience the tantalizing combination of juicy pineapple, succulent mango, and a touch of citrus. This IPA is a testament to Blarney Pub's commitment to providing a diverse and exceptional beer selection. Beyond the exceptional food and drink, Blarney Pub creates an inviting and friendly atmosphere. The staff members are welcoming, knowledgeable, and always willing to offer recommendations or answer any questions. The pub's cozy ambiance, complete with traditional Irish decor, makes it the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the flavors on offer. In conclusion, Blarney Pub is a culinary gem that will leave you craving more. Their Reuben sandwiches are a taste sensation, the Irish coffees offer a delightful kick, and the Sky Kraken Hazy IPA is a mesmerizing brew that should not be missed. Whether you're a fan of comfort food, robust beverages, or unique craft beers, Blarney Pub is an absolute must-visit. Prepare to be captivated by the flavors and ambiance that await you in this cozy Irish pub. Disclaimer: Please note that this review is based on my personal experience and reflects my own opinion. I have mixed feelings about this place. Best part was the staff, very nice, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Not only to us but it was easy to see they treat all customers like that. It was more divey than I expected and did not really feel like an Irish bar. Other than having a flag on the wall and some cheap st Patty's day decorations, nothing else was giving me the feeling it is an Irish Pub. The music was very strange going from new age pop music to old classics via their jukebox that no one was paying to play any songs. We were here a week before St Patty's, I would have expected more Irish music. Food was decent. Good place for groups as they have space and pool tables. A large group of younger folks came in and the bar handled the inflow very well and funneled them all to one side of the bar to order while still taking orders from other individuals elsewhere at the bar.
Whether you're up for a game of pool with friends (or strangers), want a drink and/or some good food, or want to watch a game or two of the World Series like I did, this is a great place for any of those. The bartenders are solid, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the clientele is a great mix of young and old, and locals and visitors. Prices are fair and the staff makes sure patrons are safe (and can make it home safely too). The Blarney Stone is close to just about everything downtown has to offer: close to the shoreline, close to other restaurants, close to Pike Place Market(s), close to Pioneer Square, close to the Stadium. All in all it's a great place and I recommend it to anyone visiting the area. (For the Halloween weekend it was one of the pubs on the local pub crawl, and lots of dressed up revelers came by to visit.) Vaccination cards are checked for all patrons.
It was a good Corned beef Reuben and fries, I've never seen so much pepper on fries , it was a nice balance with the sea salt, but seriously ,one may have thought the pepper container opened up, or they were perturbed that I was ordering before the kit hen closed or it's just a Seattle thing,I like pepper as it's a natural antibacterial, and I am a Chef, so it's all good. Also 4.50for a ginger beer with nothing I it is. Little steep and let's not forget 2$ in tax 10. Something percent sheesh !

My partner and I were here for 20 minutes hoping to be served. We were told to sit wherever after we were checked for ID and Vaccination. We sat at a table, someone said we'll be right there and that same person avoided eye contact with us and ignored us for the remainder of the time we were there. We moved seating three times to try and get some service. We sat at the bar and they talked to the people next to us, just not us. We called out several times, only to continue being ignored. This bar was NOT busy. We're both locals and have been at this location before, for me it had been at least 5 years since Ive been to this bar. Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced.
Blarneys is a neighborhood bar I frequently visit when I have friends in town. They have karaoke, pool tables and indoor/outdoor seating. It's like and an Irish sports bar and gets routy towards the nights end. The bartenders scramble as all walks of life enjoy there evening or just chace the ladies till trouble or true love has been found lol. If you are visiting market place or are passing by just drop in and see how welcoming and diverse this little bar has and how much fun you can have with total strangers. I go alone from time to time and always leave with new friends.
Don't write reviews usually, but this bar deserves one. Very unwelcoming bartenders from the start. We are all trying to adhere to the guidelines, but shouting in people's face over them is not the way to deal with it. As soon as you get off your seat, they are shouting at you to put on the mask. Judging by all the reviews I've read, this seems to be a daily occurrence from the tattooed and long-haired bartender. But clearly, this bar doesn't want to address it. Some people just let their egos get the better of them, I suppose. Will not return and advise against visiting.
Our go to spot for after work beers. Food is really good and the menu has lots of options. Delicious burgers and specials every day. The fries are amazing. Incredibly quick and friendly bartenders in an all around good bar atmosphere. They give our dog the best attention, yummy treats and water. Live music sometimes by some really good local talent. Pool table, lots of space, good seating. Nice little outdoor seats right on 1st are the best to people watch. Next door to the Showbox which always filters in a diverse crowd when there is a show.
Stopped in with no idea of what to expect. Place was busy so we grabbed a table and I ran to the bar to submit our drink orders, tactically snagging a couple menus at the same time. I forgot to photograph the menu, so i dont remember what we ate, but it was really good. We would totally hang out there if we were local. The only negative, and it wasn't us, but the folks at the table next to us took forever to get served. We felt kind of bad for them, but sitting and waiting on service in a busy bar is not how one plays the game.
We were drawn in by the guitar riff from a very talented duo. Sadly, it was all downhill from there. After being abandoned for 20-30 minutes with no soul interested in taking our order, we walked up to the bar to order spirits on the rocks, which were served neat. The coup-de-grace was being rudely asked to step aside when we were closing our tab -- purportedly to serve another customer even though it was sparse at the bar and there was plenty of room. 2 stars for random bad service in an empty bar amid great live music.
Great location but weird spot. Bar seemed to have flooding issues; was ignored for the full 15 minutes I was in here. Had to piece those issues together myself. Was never greeted or approached. Seemed like a decent enough bar but would never know Edit: lovely passive aggressive response to this too. Hope the flooding got taken care of, and you continue the practice of checking ID at the door and serving other patrons at the bar while dealing with issues like this during business hours.
Had a terrible experience. Sat at bar with only three others and couldn't get bartender away from talking to his friends. Finally ordered a beer then he wouldn't come back to give me a menu, had to interrupt him, he acted like he was being put out. Never paid attention to get my food order so I just paid for the beer and left. To bad because the menu was interesting and reasonably priced. Need to teach bartender some people skills or he'll cost you some business.
Best local bar in downtown Seattle. Great bartenders who set an awesome tone and atmosphere in the bar. The kitchen makes great food also. The service, the food, and atmosphere make is Irish Pub an excellent place to become a regular patron or just stop by for awesome conversations and food. SIMPLY AWESOME PLACE! If you're in downtown you should add this on you bucket list of things to visit.... if you live in Seattle, where have you been?
Didn't try any food. Had a great time sipping a beer and listening to the couple singing for karaoke? The bartender that served me was tolerable but will look for another one next time. He was dismissive and had a snoody vibe. However he did answer my request well enough and I didn't feel he was trying to avoid attending to customers. I'll be back

Really rude workers. Walked out of the bar and the manager tried to start a fight with me for no reason. Bear in mind the manager of an Irish bar isn’t even Irish. I would recommend that any Irish person in Seattle does not go to this pub. It is nothing like the pubs in Ireland. There is much more authentic Irish pubs in Seattle than Blarney Stone. Really disappointed with the bar staff/workers.
Went in here with friends for a few drinks after walking around Seattle! Good atmosphere, good service and plenty of screens if you want to catch up on the sport! I just ordered the bangers and mash for lunch via doordash. It was, quite honestly, the best bangers and mash I have ever had and probably the best meal I have had at least all week, maybe longer...I wanted to lick the to-go container!
Fairly busy at 5pm on a Saturday but we found two seats at the end of the bar. The bartender, Rich, knew his shiz and had the bar running smoothly. His Paloma was on point and perfectly shaken. He also provided an excellent recommendation to eat dinner at Il Bistro. We will return to the Blarney!

All I can speak on is the atmosphere and the drink I had but I can say both were amazing. I had a titan strawberry hazy cider and it is hands down the best hard cider I have ever had. If you come here you have to try it. It would be better if the bartenders weren't talking bad about tourist with the locals. Tourist bring in money and in my experience tip better than locals.
Update: Changed from a 4 ☆ to a 5☆ after the ownder replied within 2 hours of my review. Cool Irish style pub near Pike's Place Market. Good beer selection. Menu is a bit limited but the food was very good. Would definitely come back if in the area and feeling thirsty for a drink. Service was a little slow but very attentive when they were serving our table.
My party was pretty happy with their food, and overall we were THRILLED with the service, but my food (fries) didn’t even seem to be salted. They were so, so bland. And the plating for my friends’ dishes was a mess. It was better than you might expect for a kinda dive-y Irish Pub, but the execution on the food was lacking. Again, GREAT service.
Enjoyed are time here. Crowd was a mix . Mostly above 35. It was very packed. The staff is amazing. Bartenders worked very well together. Really surprised how quick drinks were being served and tables cleared. Considering how busy the bar was. Karaoke host is entertaining and kept the crowd engaged. Overall a good place to stop in.
I am so happy I found a place right next to Pike's Place without a snobby interior and high prices to match. Servers were awesome, prices are insanely low for this area, the food was very, very solid. Happy hour food specials are 6 or 7 bucks. I love this spot. Look for Ben, he has long hair. He is a fantastic bartender and server.
Place is awesome! Pool tables, musicians, really cool looking staff, i ordered a coke and they seemed to give it to me for free though? Odd, maybe they thought I was a driver for a group, but really I just don't drink alcohol LOL but I figured I'd at least return the favor with a 5 star review. Great place! Happy new year! :)
Poor customer service. They were very curt when explaining rules like how I couldn't drink from my reusable water bottle. They had a ton of TVs, but refused to change just 1 when my 2 friends were rooting for different teams. I'd understand if the bar was full, but there were several TVs with no one looking at them.
An Irish pub right near pikes place and other great venues?? Yes please!!! Awesome service and the food is amazing!!! The corned beef and cabbage is also pretty awesome along with every appetizer on the menu. Great selection of beers and whiskey. Great atmosphere and place to meet up before or after a show or event.
This place is one of the only cool bars in downtown Seattle. There also just aren't that many bars downtown. This is one of my favorite dive bars. Staff is friendly and crowd is eclectic. Right next to Showbox at the market so a good place to grab a drink before hand. New menu has some good options on it as well.
We went in at noon on St Patrick's day, and it wasn't very busy. My party was immediately served and our drink order was taken. Unfortunately, the food and beer was surprisingly expensive ($40 for two Guinnesses and corned beef), but the experience and the staff overall deserved 4 stars. Great little place.
Super impressed by the staff. Floors aren't sticky (yaaaas). We were never in want for more. Which becomes a problem later in the evening. Pool tables are fun and the patrons all feel free to talk to anybody. I recommend they automatically send water out by the time someone reaches their third drink.
They're trying here to make a fun upscale hangout for the after work crowd. I'm not buying it. You think Irish pub by the name but the interior has no discernible theme whatsoever. The drinks are mediocre at best but well priced and the service is pretty good. They have karaoke on Saturday nights.
Wow what a dive it was pretty sweet. The music kept ending and all you could hear for minutes was the violent hum of the aux cord waiting to be removed. Hilarious. $1 games of pool which is dope. The bartenders were super nice and served well and the selection of beers was a nice surprise.
Supposed Irish bar wouldn’t even acknowledge an Irish drivers license as a form of identification. Got told that we are in America. Bar staff would only accept passports and were very unwelcoming. I’m a 30 year old bearded man with a receding hair line

Not sure I recall being here for too long (it was a long night). I do remember a dog on the seat next to me. Beers were cold and there were some cool people to interact with ... though now that I think of it, I only had one, because nobody asked me if I wanted another.
definitely a dive bar but the food was so good. i had the chicken tenders and leprechaun balls and was so much better than expected. only gave 4 stars because the leprechaun balls were a little cold in the middle

The food is below average. Beer is good tbh. The price about 30% above average with no reason. No beer prices in menu, expect to pay around 10usd for a pint(the beer is good but around the corner the same costs 7usd). Live music saves the place(starts after 22:00)
The bouncer in front is family to the bar! He's a good man I'm going to take him salmon fishing this season on the rivers. Hope your ready buddy FYI They run this establishment right keep it up y'all

Fun place with a fun bartender. They have a pool table that you can use. They also have outdoor seating and you can people watch while you enjoy your drink. We did not try the food, but the cocktails were good. Pike place is nearby which is a bonus.

So I’ve been coming to Blarney Stone for 5yrs now!! I just recently went their today because of Covid and I was so happy!! Bartenders great love them super friendly and very generous with drinks!! The atmosphere well people are just united
We briefly lived in the area and chose this as our main spot. It’s always amazing!the vibe is always right, the drinks are always perfect! Now that we have moved back home to Texas, we STILL make sure to visit when it Seattle.
Their clam chowder was amazing. Not sure if I feel in love with it because it was 5 degrees outside or not. Creamy, salted, full of flavor, potatoes, clams and goodness. The rubin was pretty good, tender on fresh bread. Friendly staff.
Just because it has an Irish name above the door doesn’t make it an Irish bar. So disappointed with my visit to Blarney Stone. Staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming. The bar smelled really bad when you walked in and bar staff were rude
We stopped in around 12-1pm on a weekday to relax after walking around Pike’s Market all morning. The bartender, Kenny, was super nice and gave us some wonderful recommendations for the area. The beer was great and the vibe was nice.
Great bartenders, even better patrons. I haven't had so many drinks bought for me from people I don't know anywhere else, and the pool table/cues aren't warped. That's unprecedented! Don't tell Pike brewery I like the blarney more...
Not a bad bar. Litmus test of an irish pub is always the Guinness...not bad at all here. We had some snacks which were pretty good. The pork sliders are the perfect size and delicious. Good location downtown beside pikes place.
One of my highlights of my trip. They got a good variety of beer. The bartender is was attentive and made sure everyone was following covid guidelines. Had a great time and will definitely visit again when going to Seattle.
Great little dive bar. Bartender was super nice and friendly with us, let us try different beers. Not too crowded but not dead. Pool tables in good shape. Great beer selection. If I lived in the area I'd be a regular.
Great vibe with outgoing and diverse people singing and cheering with a good mix of music. It was pretty full but the bartenders got to you fast and were polite. Especially loved the affable bouncer and karaoke mc/dj.
Make this your pregame spot for shows at Showbox, or a reprieve from Pike Place Market.

A decent place to hangout on a Friday, on a karaoke night, it was fun. With good drinks, more than decent food & a very friendly service. Loved the fried, & stuffed mushrooms on a spinach & balsamic reduction.
Refused a US Veteran service. The bartender stated that "Veteran ID cards" from the Dept if VA which are governement issued aren't accepted. Liquor board needs to review their bartenders so they know the law.

Great owner. Great staff. It's more like a safe place for anyone to chill play pool, drink and enjoy good food. While watching the game or jamming out to favorite tunes. While meeting new people.

Lively atmosphere. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and my husband got a roast beef sandwich. Both came with fried that were a bit over cooked. Sandwiches had good flavor and texture.

The shepard's pie and bangers and mash were both excellent but the beer we ordered (smithwicks on draft) tasted off...we ordered bottled beer for the rest of the night! :)
Wooooo had a great time there dude!! Beers and drinks were on the affordable side. Not too full. Super friendly staff. My Irish accent impersonation needs work tho.

Great staff!! Fun environment, with great live shows and awesome karaoke on Wednesdays and Saturdays @ 9pm. They also have a juke box.
Very accommodating of our large rowdy group. Limited mixed drinks but the vibe was nice and they have some cool tee shirts.
The bar is well run, the people behind the bar hold it down. Very tolerant of all personalities and set clear boundaries.
An awesome Irish pub that’s got great atmosphere and good drinks. We will definitely come back when in Seattle.

Excellent food, beer and atmosphere. Perfect stop for an afternoon break. Great bartender!

Stellar service and really chill vibe. Pool tables seem situated well. Recommend highly.
