What an absolute gem in the heart of the beachfront. We got to stay in a beautiful clean room, and the host is an absolute gentleman. We even had a lekker potjie and swim. Fantastic view of Table Mountain and Robben Island can also be seen. It looks surprisingly nearby, like a good swimmer should be able to reach it! don't try it though! Ocean currents and sharks and cold water could prove to be too much The water was aslo surpisingly warm! Thought it was always extremely cold there. One can definitely go into it and enjoy it, although I didn't see anyone in the ocean though. Had my feet in some pools and glad I did. Just be careful not to step on sea uchins! The water in the pools are extremely clear so you can see everything in it.

Was fantastic! Tony, the owner, is an awesome host who made my family feel special and taken care of while they were staying there as well as when we had a birthday braai at the premises.

I visited this restaurant recently for a business lunch. I thought their Nacho starter was very nice. The main course was also very tasty. My only complaint is that the servings are a bit small for the money they charge for them. Would be 5 stars if they either increased portion sizes or reduced current portion prices to be more in line with other restaurants of similar offerings. Otherwise the food quality was good. Lots of Hallal dishes to choose from too.

The Blouberg Beach is one the best beaches on the western seaboard. It's quite a fantastic environment, the view of the table mountain and a little of Robin Island makes it magnificent. It's always fairly busy though the water is extremely cold, the faint hearted. One always finds a way to enjoy this beach and the stand is not aggressive on the feet. Should you wish to do a sunset watch, this is the best spot to be at.

Lovely beach. Kids and dogs enjoy it! Only downside is that the water is always cold, but that's blouberg. The beach is always clean and tidy. Its very pleasant and fun for a walk. Beautiful views of cape Town and sometimes robben Island (weather permitted). There is a lady that sells ice cream from her ice cream van, we nearly always support her. What is a trip to the beach without a ice cream?

Blouberg Beach is the best: It offers something for everyone. Take a walk, walk the dog, ride your bike, ride the waves or chill on one of the benches dotted along the walkway. Ons se Huisie is the best for coffee, or a meal. There are many family friendly rock pools for the little ones, or for moms and dads to wet their feet. Not to mention the fur kids, they love the beach and rock pools.

Always a pleasure to ride by this large expanse of sea and beach . When the wind is right you will be sure to see many, many kite surfers performing amazing displays as well as sufers. You will usually find food carts and coffee venders. It's just a treat to sit in your car watching the surf activities with the iconic Table Mountain in the background and Robben Island to the side

The Atlantic ocean is an all round tourists attraction. Breathtaking full panoramic views of table mountain, Robben Island, white sands on the shore & surfers waves. A variety of restaurants a shopping centre and lots of accommodations in cottages, b&b, self catering & hotels. Lots of benches to relax n watch the rough beauty of blouberg. Watch the sunset take long forever walks.

My Happy Place. Whenever the world becomes too hard to handle. I get in my car and drive to the beach to watch the sun go down. Suddenly I get a new perspective on life and realize that the beautiful creation is what is real and what matters and that the "fake world" with all it's problems which man created is not real and won't last. Try it. Nature is the ultimate chill pill.

Beach really clean and there is parking spaces for vehicles. Lots of restaurants to go to and grab a bite to eat and enjoy the beach view. Going when the sun is setting is so beautiful and romantic. What I can tell you is that the water is cold, so take a wet suit with if you planning on swimming and I'm being serious. If you into jogging this is also a good place to do this.

One of the most popular beaches in the Western Cape, with arguably the best views of Table Mountain & the Cape Town City Bowl area, as well as a fantastic beach to watch the sunset from. It is a very long beach which stretches far. This beach is very popular with kite surfers and on a summers afternoon the skyline is filled with numerous outlines of kites and ropes.

Magical at sunset. Always worth a visit. It is a clean beach, popular with families with good restaurants nearby. Situated in a up-market built-up area with small and large apartments popular with all ages. There are rocky spots for kids to play and find interesting sealife in rockpools. Sections of the beach is also popular with surfers and for kitesurfing.

What a lovely beach where you can walk for miles on end... The beach is clean and we felt completely save from criminal elements. The sight back to Table mountain and the bay was so beautiful and worth a visit. Take the time and experience the natural beauty on and from this beach, it is pure joy and I guarantee that you will go back time after time again...

Chilly with one of my favourite books, taking photos of whatever catches my fancy, taking long walks, riding my bike and of cause enjoying some ice-cream! When the season is in watching the Swarms of Kite-Surfers is very cool! But the best of all is taking a Nice swim in the icy cold Atlantic Ocean. .....

A great place for kite surfing and a view of table mountain. Also has Beach front restaurants (some with a view of the mountain) and clubs. It is for the most part clean, I do beach cleanups there and there is a lot of litter and the vegetation needs to be replanted on the dunes to avoid sand blowing in the road on windy days. But this beach is home.

Aaah.... Table Mountain, the majestic Mother who watches over us. My time out is enjoying a soft serve smothered in chocolate dip... gazing at Table Mountain and watching the kite surfers challenging the wind and the waves. Blouberg is quite windy so always travel ready to put a jacket on and the beaches are great for kids to play. Weekends and holidays are quite busy.

Ok.. Hands down.. My fav walk on the beach bcos unlike SeaPoint and the dirt around the side of the walls.. Blouberg is a breath of Fresh Air.. Every sunset has onlookers.. Couples.. Kids.. Its just beautiful.. Some beach goers actually take a bag with to collect papers as they walk.. So it's always clean❤

All that you need and more. I love coming to this gorgeous place when I am visiting the City of Cape Town. I am wheelchair bound and this place is a blessing for me. It is wheelchair accessible with all the trimmings i can only hope for when visiting other beaches. Blouberg Beach has it all and more.

Love this beach but the water very cold for swimming. Beautiful setting for stunning photographs with Table Mountain in the background. Can be windy, but close to perfect on a Summer's day. Well known On the Rocks and Ons Huisie restaurants makes it a must experience visit for our overseas travellers

Stunning beach across the harbor. Simply perfect for watching Table Mountain. Especially perfect too for watching the sunrise or sun set over Table mountain. A perfect setting frankly for any time dau or night to see Table Mountain in all if its grandeur. A wide ecpansive beach there. Clean too.

Blouberg beach always good for a invigoraring walk especially on glorious sunny and windless days. Spectacular views of Table Mountain and the ocean. Ons Huisie Restaurant the perfect spot for a drink at sunset. And other restaurants along the walkway all the way up to Eden on the Bay.

Small bay is the most relaxing place, to just sit and watch the waves break over the rocks is awesome. Watching the tide either coming in or going out takes one into a peaceful mode. If u take your day old bread, break it up, the seagulls and small birds come to feed. Totally awesome.

The beach require an upgrade, and to control the wind domes that are pushing into the parking area and at the traffic circle. The whole walk way is covered by the domes. Planting palm trees will enhance the beach looks. You don't get tired of looking at the whole table mountain range.

What a great place to stay! Great space, super comfy bed, lovely pool and perfect spot. And the host, Tony, excellent customer service and willing to help with anything at any time. Thank you Tony for a fantastic experience!

Blouberg Beach is So Beautiful & its a must for everyone who visits Our Awesome City from the Beach you can see the Majestic Table Mountain it's so Breath Taking. The kids can build sand castles on the beach while their parents just relax. Everyone is Welcome, enjoy yourself.

Best place for sunset cocktail and finishing of the day. Very nice restaurants that you can choose from or else just sit on the beach with your partner and enjoy the sunset. Wise variety cocktails on the menu. Seafood menu is excellent. Pricing is reasonable. Friendly staff.

Beautiful beach for a long run... Maintained well... Stunning view of Table mountain and Ships at sea... Has shops to buy food on the go and cool drinks... Rentable scooters, there are restuarants around too... A petrol station. And a promonade that's animal friendly.

Blouberg Beach is always lovely..I take a drive along the Beachfront and round to Kleinbaai most days ...its a real Pick me Up as the sea is always different and Table Mountain is soo Magnificent... Sunset is different every day. What a pleasure to live in this area

Beautiful beach. The Seagals can be annoying at times but.... I really loved the view, the atmosphere, the water... The beach is just situated at a perfect environment and a lot of shops and restaurants around so it's very convenient. I absolutely loved it.

The beach was very clean and picturesque! Views of Table Mountain was quite a sight... Absolutely stunning!!! When you have clear skies and a sunny day, then try to stay for the most beautiful sunset you'll ever have!!! Another one of my WOW moments!!!

It was a pleasant day out. Cool wind dampened the hot sun. Sea was all shades of blue. Looked like we were on a tropical island at times. Bought an icecream along the road and a coffee. Schwamas were also for sale, but we were not ready for lunch.

I have never seen so many kite surfers in one place. The morning it was quiet but by the afternoon it was a flurry of colour on the water. Beautiful. With the backdrop of Table Mountain, it had got to be one of the most scenic places on earth.

It's a beach great for surfing and other water sports. For those who just want to relax it is too wind- locals say the best time to enjoy without the wind problem is in the mornings. Has lovely views of the table mountain.

The most beautiful beach! People stroll or jog or just relax watching the waves with Table mountain or Robben Island in the background. The two different species of sea gulls offer more photo opportunities. Unforgetable!

We always love to visit Blouberg Beach. I always enjoy taking photos of Table mountain, the waves crashing on rocks, sea birds breaking black mussels on the rocks and the beach. Beautiful scenery, even when it's cloudy.

Beautiful coastal area and view of 2 world heritage sites (only place in the world where you can see 2 at the same time)! Good coffee by various sellers along the walk and comfortable benches to sit on. Lots of parking.

The sea looked lovely today, bright crisp and clear green. There was a slightly misty grey caste to the sky. Very refreshing trip to beach, just to take some time out of from the rush and overcome our lockdown sadness.

Great hotel room, enough place for parking your car. Breakfast was awesome, we will visit you again, when we come back to South Africa!

The best view of table mountain (as seen from across the bay). A perfect sunset viewing spot. A fantastic non crowed beach (non swimming). At least 3 places to eat or drink within 5 minutes walking distance.

Blouberg has friendly locals and an appealing scenes that are a sight 2 remember. I loved the safety and fun free atmosphere with stunning beaches and marine life...looking forward to visiting there again;-)

Just love Blouberg beach , we normally go to where “onse huisie “ is, go early morning to get parking. This little spot I find better for children than the main part of the beach as you enter Blouberg.

Very popular venue, especially over weekends. Venue of the Redbull King of the Air kite surfing so be aware..the wind can blow!! Still a definite venue to visit if only to socialize with sundowners.

My place to go for relaxed walk love the fresh air and peaceful sound of waves. Only sometimes the plastic waste washed up is sad. I have picked up some and I see groups do clean ups which is good.

What beaches are made of, long and open beaches. Dog friendly and great place for a run. Not to mention the greatest view of Table Mountain. This beach is perfect for photographing Table Mountain.
