Shaw Park is a baseball stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is located adjacent to The Forks, near the city's downtown, and is home to the Winnipeg Goldeyes of the American Association. Park is located on Treaty One land— the original territories of Anishinaabe,Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. Shaw Park is located at One Portage Ave East in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba If you are one of the more-than four million baseball fans to have visited Shaw Park, then you already know what a gem this facility is. Opened in June of 1999, the home of the Winnipeg Goldeyes has received rave reviews as not only a great place to watch some American Association action, but also as the site of numerous functions, concerts and other sporting events, including the baseball competition at the XIII Pan Am Games. From the great food at the concessions to the great seats that overlook the field, this state-of-the-art ballpark provides all the amenities of a first-class facility. Located north of The Forks and Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and just a fly ball from the renowned intersection of Portage and Main, Shaw Park is equally accessible to vehicles and pedestrians alike. Its central location means fans will be able to arrive for the opening pitch and get home after the final pitch with little or no difficulty. That is, of course, if they choose to go home. With both the historic Exchange District and St. Boniface within easy walking distance, a trip downtown to see the Goldeyes doesn’t have to end when the game does. Numerous restaurants and night clubs on both sides of the Red River, which flows by just beyond the outfield wall, await fans who aren’t quite ready to call it a night.

Good experience overall, with good food and good staff. Only complaint is that the announcements/loudspeakers are ridiculously loud. If you have any kind of sensory issues involving sound, it is NOT a place to go without serious hearing protection. My teenager brought his hearing protection (ear muffs used for construction sites) and was still overwhelmed. This was our first trip there, so I don't know if they have a quieter section available (we'd won the tickets, so didn't get to pick our seats). So TL/DR : great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and if you don't have sensory issues, you'll likely have a great experience there! If you have sound sensory issues, though, bring hearing protection, ask for quieter seats, and be prepared for frequent trips to the food service area to calm down or to help your kid calm themself.

I haven't been to the stadium in a while but when I used to go it was amazing. If you want some good local baseball, go to a goldeyes game. It's exciting! It's awesome and the fan base is great. Going to a goldeyes game has always been a great uplifting experience. Couple hours before the game starts, there's usually some music at the front of the stadium. Lots of people hanging around there and joining the music. Tailgating socializing and just having a good times, It can make your day a heck of a lot better, especially if you're visiting from the states and you watch a lot of baseball. It might not be the MLB but this little league and this team has a hell of a lot of fight and some great experienced players.

We had a good experience attending our first ballgame at the park. The kids enjoyed the fireworks! For days there are giveaways, plan to come early since it is only while supplies last. We didn't get any :( coz we came 10 minutes before the game. It would be nice if they give away during the game as well for those who did not get at the entrance. The camera seems to focus on a certain side of the stadium and some too much of the same people, some kids are looking to be featured but did not get the opportunity, perhaps because of the one person camera limitations. We know what to expect next time. It's our first Goldeyes game as a family and we enjoyed it. Oh yeah parking is good, I did not have any issues.

August 13 the Goldeye’s baseball at Shaw Park held “Bark at the Park” such a cool event ⚾️ fans brought their furball ⚾️ it was a woofing great time ⚾️‍ the dogs were well behaved, you could see the smiles on their faces. The dog owners were able to watch the Goldeye’s win & the dogs met so many four legged friends ♥️ 50/50 was over $10,000 half went to one very lucky winner & the other half was presented to Humane Society Cannot wait until next year. ♥️‍

A great small stadium perfect for an evening out. Tickets are inexpensive and it feels like you get what you pay for. Great atmosphere and if you sit on the visitor side you’ll be in the shade for an evening game. Sat in the front row right behind the visitor dugout and it was definitely worth it, it felt like we were part of the team. Lots of food options, although it seemed like there were more in years past.

Attended Shaw Park for their 1st annual brew fest. The park put on a really good beer festival all with local Manitoba craft breweries. Everything seem to run smoothly and while there were a lot of people in attendance, the lines were short at each of the booths. They also had a few bands play throughout the day which were all very good. Looking for to another event in the future.

Went to a ball game here. Enjoyed it. Seating was comfortable and leg room was a little tight. Lots of snack options. Food prices were a little high and was drink prices. Costs to get in were no worse than a movie theater. Entertainment from ball game was fun. Ball players were kind exspecially to children in stands. Overall a pleasant experience.

Went here for a goldeyes game, was a great time. Very fun for all ages. There is a game pack for $75 that has five tix and five beers, great deal. They came with seats in Section C which is near the beer garden. More of a 20s and 30s crowd there. Tons of fun. Plenty of food options, was really impressed. Great Time will be back for sure

  • Guy Wilde

Great facility, friendly staff. Food and drink prices are not too outrageous, unless you opt for the double Ceasar that comes with a ball park weiner instead of the traditional stalk of celery. . Name and signage has recently changed from Shaw Park to Blue Cross Park, who purchased the naming rights to the stadium. …

Spacious, clean, hospitable staff, fun staff but chair are narrow and seats lack railings to hold onto while walking down narrow stair. Very scary for a over weight person. Everything else, food vendors etc were fine as were the bathroom facilities but my stats are low because if seating and lack of safety measures

Been here a few times to watch Goldeyes games, and I've always had a wonderful time. Recently, we had our Sons Challenger baseball event here. So well organized, and it was great to have some of the Goldeyes players come by and serve hot dogs to the kids. It is very classy, and the facilities are amazing.

Amazing small little stadium. Perfect for a cheap night out with friends or families. No netting on the sides = four stars as this is a huge danger. They should follow MLB parks and have netting around the whole park. View of Humans right musuem, and downtown is perfect. (Picture is view outside stadium)

  • Colin Lobo

Great baseball park! Spent the evening watching a Goldeyes game while staying in Winnipeg and it so far it’s been one of the highlights during my stay here. There’s a lot of snack/food vendors to choose from, so there is something for everyone. There is also a children’s play park.

  • Rick Harrison

This is an enjoyable day out, taking in a Goldeyes game. The tickets are very reasonably priced. There is a good selection of food concessions at very fair pricing for a sports venue. I don't have the time to take in every game, but try to make it to one or two games every year.

  • Mike Ashe

Great venue right in the downtown. Very easy access either public transport or for parking. Not a bad seat in the stadium really. A large assortment of food vendors. Lots of public washrooms. Local beer served here too. I come here every year. I really should get season tix!

  • Ashley Tarves

TarvesTravels checking out our First Baseball game as we travel across Canada. We had so much fun. Love the atmosphere. The sights, The smells, The energy was Awesome. The firework finale blew us away!!! 1 family, 3 countries, Day 36 of 300 Days!

  • Gavin Doyle

Small stadium with a great atmosphere. The Museum of Human Rights does wreck the view a bit, as the parkland gives it a nice feel. The food offerings are diverse and one can find what suits their taste. Offers up local brews for sale as well.

  • Tyler Thomaschewski

Haven't been here in a long time. But I was able to catch the last game of the season in 2022. A great little stadium that overlooks the museum. And the train that runs by the stadium also helps give it a unique atmosphere. The prices for

  • Dena Roberts

The seats aren't very comfortable and the scoreboard is very difficult to read. The staff is awesome and the field is well kept and beautifully green. The prices are reasonable and it's a great family outing. The players from both teams

  • Rebekah Heinrichs

Seats could be spaced a bit farther apart, not the comfiest (but then again, what sports complex actually has comfy seats). Cheapest food and bevy prices compared to a jets or bombers game. Definitely fun for the whole family.

  • Katarina

Love shaw park and love the Goldeyes! Win or lose, always an amazing experience. Very affordable for a night out even with a group. One of the last sports events that isn’t crazy overpriced. Fun and friendly staff throughout.

  • Bing Dai

Amazing field which has fully great atmosphere of Game. Such an incredible experience with many different food shops. People here can get their fun from game, drinks and friends who maybe known each other for a long time.

  • Brenna Belanger-Sage

Great place for a night out with the family. Maneuvering around the parking lots and finding parking can be tricky. Concessions are good even though they are pricy, but this is expected. Love watching the Goldeyes though!

  • lori

Always a family favourite to head to the ball park for a Goldeyes game. Tickets are reasonable with lots of food options on the concourse. We regularly take friends or family visiting and they too have a great time

  • Cory Rutter

Love the atmosphere here. A great way to start off the game is having your twin boys be the "lets play ball kids". After the 2 anthems they got to be in the spot light. So show up early and you may get your chance.

  • Atlas Titan

Came here to watch a Goldeyes game. Lovely atmosphere and an amazing selection of places to buy food from. Have to mention that almost everything is cash only, but don't fret there are ATMs in the building.

  • Armand Delisle

Beautiful walk along the river with great picture opportunities from the dock. Unfortunately the weeds are overgrown and encroaching onto the paths with nettles. Other than that, we will walk it again!

  • Leon Be

They took me out to the ballgame. I enjoyed it. A great night of baseball. Besides the train and it's screeching brakes you almost forget that this amazing baseball diamond is in the heart of the city.

  • Breanne Reith

Very nice ball park. Good views from every seat. Moderately priced food and drinks. There were a few vendors handing out samples at the last game we went to so we were able to get some freebies!

  • Daniel Legal

Fun for the whole family...great atmosphere. It's worth attending at least one goldeyes game a year with the family. Ticket prices are reasonable. Facility is also great and we'll maintained.

  • Shawn Goode

Great place to catch a ball game! Lots of food and drink options available. Fireworks after the game are very well done. The field level patio area is great for corporate events as well.

  • Bill Spanjer

You cannot beat a warm summer evening at Shaw Park to catch a Winnipeg Goldeyes game. Great seating everywhere and a host of great food choices. Fun entertainment adds to the evening.

  • Tourism Winnipeg

Home to the Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club, a great place to catch a baseball game and enjoy a beautiful Winnipeg afternoon or evening. New for 2018 was a craft beer corner.

  • Steve Freund

Had a blast watching the Goldeyes win!! Great atmosphere. The only complaint I have is the seats NEED replacing. Very uncomfortable sitting on seats that are split in 2.

  • Bing Yue

First time at Shaw Park for a Goldeyes game, I really enjoy it. The park is not big, but at good location near the famous tourist site - the forks.

  • Helix Li

It is a rainy night, first time going to a baseball game and it was fun, such a great place for young families with kids, full night of fun!

  • Alex Nicholls
