A tranquil, well situated and well maintained guesthouse in the mountainside of Gordon's Bay. Most rooms boasr spectacular views of the mountains, sea or both. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the one we stayed in even had a small kitchenette and a lounge. The very friendly reception was offered even late after normal check-in time. Our very specific dietary requirements were catered to precisely and by very friendly staff. They even provided a room for us to use to dress in after check-out time. We will definitely return to this exceptionally well, owner run, guest house for future visits.

My stay at Horizon Guesthouse was exceptional. The are a number of rooms that caters for everyone. Karen my hostess was great she made me feel at home. Location provides an overview for most of Gordons Bay. I will definitely return.

GREAT STAY. The Good: Great views; friendly and professional owner and staff - goes the extra mile for guests; great rooms; well-stocked mini-bar fridges; modern and neat; while not on the beach, only short drive to amenities and restaurants. The Bad: Err... not close to the beach? The Ugly: If the wind blows, it blows you off the mountain (a fault of the Cape, not this venue).

Karen was incredibly helpful in assisting us with a late check in and an early check out. The amenities were fantastic, clean and fulfilled any needs you may have including a kitchenette. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate accommodation establishments which offer king sized beds.

We had a lovely stay, the room was excellent and the view spectacular. The hostess Karen was kind and friendly she even packed us a take a way breakfast when we had to leave early the Sunday morning. You will not be disappointed, i recommend the guest house to all.
