I stumbled upon this bookstore by accident while waiting for my bike to be fixed downstairs at Hardcore Bikes. The owner was actually closing the bookstore at 5 pm when I showed up but graciously allowed me to come into her store and browse for a book. The bookstore has an incredible selection of new and used mystery books, suspense books and spy books. The shop is very well organized and pleasantly appointed. The owner was very well read and had lots of suggestions of books that I may enjoy reading. If you love bookshops and enjoy mystery/spy books make your way to the Blue Lamp and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Blue lamp books is a hidden jem, tucked away as if begging to be stumbled upon by an intrepid booklover. It's cosy, well stocked, and inviting. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is great, ranging from exclusive first editions to popular old and new mystery. Suport local and check out Blue Lamp books. Truly a great find!

Great bookstore for any mystery lover, very nicely curated, lots of nice decor peices to keep with theme, reasonable prices, and good quality used books.

Excellent selection of mystery and detective books and a small but good selection of regular fiction. Only nicer used books and new. Cozy atmosphere.

Amazing place. Peaceful and exhilarating at the same time. A treasure trove of goodies.
