Bluestone American bbq has been around a while in the Coburg area! The lovely owners Amanda and her husband invited us in to try their menu! I have been before for their a Tuesday special which is only $20pp and I love it as a choice for American bbq! It is such a fam style restaurant! We had their feast 3 menu which is only $59.8 pp and I swear we were so stuffed we had enough leftover for dinner the next night! Win win!! The feast 3 menu includes crispy pork belly (which was an absolute highlight), pork spare ribs, southern fried chicken, double smoked brisket, Cuban pork, smoked chicken chops, pork and cheddar sausage, BBQ chicken wings, tangy creole salad, fire roasted red peppers, stone ground grits, Mac and cheese, a salad and French fries! I know a huge amount!! Our highlights for the meal were the pork belly which was so crispy and juicy, full of so much flavour, the pork and cheddar sausage (which is already a fave of mine here ), the Mac and cheese croquettes and the smoked brisket! Honestly the fries were legit my favourite fries I think I’ve had in 2+ years insane! We came soooo hungry! So if you’re craving a huge American bbq feast, you absolutely have to check this spot out! We where up at Pentridge Jail and called seeing if they could fit us in for lunch. They where very accomodating even when I forgot about our baby haha. They bought out colouring in for the kids straight away which kept them happy. Service was quick and drinks came out quickly. Caramel salted old fashioned was on point. Pity they didnt have beer on tap and the glasses where very different out of the 90s haha. They had a nice selection of beers however. Food was delicious, kids meals where a bit expensive at $15 but the chicken was delish and they all finished their large meals. We got a selection of entrees and mains to share. Stand outs where the chilli fries, mac and cheese, brisket and pork belly. Southern fried chicken could of been crisper but it had great taste. Chilli Jam on every table is also delish Toilets are clean and very spacious. Highly recommended and will be back if back in that area. Feasts and all you can eat looks the go for a boys night.

If slow cooked, melt in your mouth bbq is your jam, look no further. They have an extensive menu to choose from. This was my second time visiting them, and we decided to go for their bottomless lunch option, which is a well curated set menu with some amazing drinks to choose from. I loved how there was a little bit of everything and the quantity was just insane (remember to wear your loose pants ) I personally loved the ginger paloma n the cherry bomb cocktails the best. Also if you happen to visit them any other day other than weekends-lunchtime I highly recommend checking out their pitmasters feast. TIP - the place gets packed super quick on weekends for lunch time, so I highly recommend booking early.

Don't ge me wrong, it is a nice place to go, but I was a bit disappointed with the feast 2 sets, specially they way that they serve it, i wish it was coming all portions together, between first dish and second we almost waited like 10 minutes. And by the time the secobd portion arrived I was already felt full. My main dissapointment was the brisket. It was 2 thick cut from the lean part and had no smoke ring or any smoke crust. It was more like a boiled beef than a smoked brisket. Also the thickness of the cut wasn't really ideal which was effecting the tenderness. The lamb was the best and quite delicious very juicy and flavorful. The sauce on the table was also great.

This is going to be my favourite place for smoked America BBQ meat fare, highly recommend their bottomless lunch and drinks package, quality of meats and drinks are second to none. Al the owner is really hospitable and takes pride in dishing great quality BBQ smoked meats and delicious cocktails. He takes time to get to know his customers and he really treats his staff well. American BBQ all the way! Really nice looking place inside, feels like a wooden house. There are lots of tables but they are very close to each other, you literally feel like you are eating with the one next to you. We went on a week day, so not very busy luckily. The food is nice, flavours are on point and some of the sides are really delicious. So if you want American BBQ I would recommend you try this place! I would definitely go again to try other dishes.

Perfect Setting and Flavours for an American Barbecue flavours, with true blue American Menu with grand American style portion sizes. Options available for different style of barbecue feasts with your fav meat cuts as well as cocktails. Ordered Feast 2 and mains. The food tasted good but thr chicken chops and wings were salty. Food was delivered to the table within 5 mins after I ordered. I was surprised that it arrived so quickly.
