Had a great time at Bobby Dodd Stadium! Our Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets pulled out a victory against virginia in overtime. Even though I was sitting almost on the exact opposite side of the field as the band, we could still hear every song played while at the same time still able to hear everything going on with the game. As you come through the gates at Bobby Dodd, the staff as well as the volunteer students make you feel right at home. You can feel the Georgia Tech comradery in the air. The food offered at Grant field was great too with a lot of variety including Sonny's, Chic-Fil-A, Papa John's, and many others. My only complaint is that the seating is so tight around the field level its almost impossible to get from your seat to the concessions during the game.

I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an engineer, A helluva, helluva, helluva, helluva, hell of an engineer, Like all the jolly good fellows, I drink my whiskey clear, I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech and a hell of an engineer. Oh, if I had a daughter, sir, I'd dress her in White and Gold, And put her on the campus, to cheer the brave and bold. But if I had a son, sir, I'll tell you what he'd do. He would yell, "To Hell with Georgia," like his daddy used to do. Oh, I wish I had a barrel of rum and sugar three thousand pounds, A college bell to put it in and a clapper to stir it around. I'd drink to all good fellows who come from far and near. I'm a ramblin', gamblin', hell of an engineer.

Attended my 1st Ga. Tech vs Georgia Football Game. My Best Friend and Backup Dee-Jay brought 2 Tickets for my Birthday. He knows I'm a GA. Tech Fan 4 Life with Baseball ⚾ Team. The Music was Awesome and the Dee-Jay gets an "A-Plus". Sorry the Ga. Tech "Band" has no Soul. Lol. I'd have 2 Drones with Mic's over the Band. Plus an M.C. getting crowd with the Band with a popular Song. Plus more Bass. Lol. Without GA. Tech 2 Turnovers they beat Georgia. Defense must Rotate Fresh players into the Game. Continue to Blitz up the Middle to prevent long Passes. LB's failed to Stop the Run outside when Pulling Guards kept opening Holes for Georgia RB's. Awesome close Game.

Amazing time celebrating Andre White Jrs 'return to action' with a huge win over Nationally ranked and conference foe, UNC!! We made some cool friends (one being Danny Karnik, GA Tech photographer..great man BTW) and was allowed to rush the field for my 1st time ever after a tight victory!!! Andre White's Mom has shown up and out for every game and did not disappoint as we hail from Harrisburg, PA proven that no game is too far away to travel to, to watch her son play whether or not playing time is incurred or not! We route for the team... Georgia Tech is the experience and we're all in!!! #3 #4 #10 are game changers!!!! Go Jackets

The stadium is old and has seen better days. The upper deck is particularly cramped. Once we couldn't all fit in our row of 12 bench seats and one guy had to sit on the steps. When the crowd stands up, which is frequent, you have to turn sideways or someone ends up out on the steps. The concessions are typical of college football stadiums. It is located amongst the campus buildings and there is tailgating in the outdoor parking lots, i.e. not the garages. We typically meet our friends who have an RV and it is a lot of fun. You can also rent catered tailgating areas right by the stadium for events for 40-60 people.

Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field is the football stadium located at the corner of North Avenue at Techwood Drive on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. It has been home to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacketsfootball team, often referred to as the "Ramblin' Wreck", in rudimentary form since 1905 and as a complete stadium since 1913. The team participates in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. It is the oldest stadium in the FBS and has been the site of more home wins than any other FBS stadium.

My father is an Alumnus, having graduated in ‘61 with his Chemical Engineer degree. Many years later, he would retire from International Paper. He and my mom, a University of Georgia Alumnus saw many games here. And afterwards, would consume tasty treats from The Varsity. As kids, my older sister and I would share in their stories. My visit to get drone shots was bittersweet because they’ve both died and this visit brought lots of memories.

  • Christian Gonzalez

People would not respect seats. Sometimes could not see due to people standing on bleachers. Also, security/police would block off roads even though our parking deck was on road that was blocked off. That caused us to be in a 2 hour traffic jam which was unnecessary if they just let us in the road. Worst part was that they re-opened the roads a few cars after we turned into a different road. Do not plan on returning to this stadium.

This was my first time to this stadium and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. I love how it’s centered in downtown ATL surrounded by the school. There’s a lot of history at this institution. The stadium was really nice stadium. It makes you feel as if you’re on the field too. Definitely will be back. Oh and GO YELLOWJACKETS!! Also, you can buy beer there now too! What What?!

  • Keri Robinson

A great place to watch Georgia Tech football. The stadium is one of the oldest continuously operating stadium in collegiate history. That said, it could use some upgrades. For a division one school, the food offerings are less than optimal. Go support Georgia Tech and enjoy a good football game on the flats. You won’t be disappointed.

  • David Orland Brown (Mr. Atlanta)

One of the most beautiful stadiums in the United States. Immersed in the center of West Midtown surrounded by gorgeous trees, cloud crushing sky scrapers & americas best technological campus you truly feel close to heaven here. Easy parking, great public service workers and an overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

  • grntsndrs

Fairly large college football stadium/convocation ceremony center. When we went all of the water fountains were inoperable and the concessions stands ran out of many items forcing them to shut down early. Security staff was rude and the stadium is hard to navigate and has uncomfortable and cramped seating.

  • Barbara Brown

There's nothing wrong with the stadium except the seats in the upper deck can be uncomfortable, especially when it's cold, windy, and rainy. If only the bench seating had backs and someone in front didn't stand up constantly to block others' views! Of course, a winning team would be a plus too.

  • David Hutchins

Honestly, the stadium itself is not too bad. They had the standard metal plate seating and never felt too crowded. Were they lost me was the cost of concessions. Why are they charging $40 for two drinks and hot dawgs. No value here. My advise. Eat before you come and save yourself a fortune.

  • Richard Malerba

This stadium doesn't have the glitz or grandeur of newer stadiums, but it's all school charm, where every seat is a good seat, and skyline views make seeing a game here an epic experience. I believe it us the oldest operating college football stadium in existence!

  • Ted Vagelos

A great place to safely watch a college football game. With police, deputies, and private security, Bobby Dodd Stadium and the surrounding area, before, during, and after the game felt extremely safe. We have never seen a major university with more school spirit!

  • HL Lowy

Stadium upgrades have been awesome and navigating the campus, the stadium and the concourses is A++! Get there!! And on a beautiful day just a great place to be. Also, great concessions and super convenient to use all over the stadium. Well done Jackets!!

  • Christopher Chambers

Love the atmosphere of Bobby Dodd! Great classic football feel nestled in the great city of Atlanta. This stadium truly is a great sight to behold, considering the historical value and the central location in the city. Never a bad day in the flats. THWG!

  • Michael H

Always a fun time at the Dodd. Season tickets holder for 25 years. Prepay parking to avoid the hassle of finding a lot on game day. Extra water stations now available. Varsity just up on North Ave. Increased food options inside, typical stadium fare.

  • Lanie Griswold

Such a cool old stadium. Not very big, but a lot of character. The vibe here is so nice and old school. Great place to watch Fall football. Definitely need to upgrade the food options in the club level. CFA is good, but the rest is a waste of money.

  • Lobo L.

Bobby Dodd Stadium is an historic, outdoor venue that was a great place to enjoy a beautiful college graduation. The location could benefit from some upgrades to guest seating areas where there was lots of cracked, crumbling concrete and

Being a true GT fan, I enjoyed the environment, I'm looking forward to the next game. Visited Bobby Dodd Stadium the 28th of October 2023, on my birthday for homecoming and had a great time. My experience deserves more than five stars.

  • Kelsey White

The staff was all very nice, but the amount of people sitting in the wrongs seats because nothing was clearly labeled was wild! The stadium definitely needs some updates on the sections number signs and the sizes of them.

  • Bennie Williams

Outdoor venue for Georgia Tech graduation of relative. Effective crowd control, easy entry. Heavy rain dampened the experience but did not dampen the spirit. Great venue in historic Bobby Dodd Stadium, Grant Field.

  • Josh Gralton

The most historic stadium in college football sits square in middle of downtown Atlanta; the city backdrop with a full house Thuraday night ESPN game is one of the electric atmospheres you can experience as a fan.

  • AP

Nice stadium especially when the GA Bulldog's are playing GA Tech. There were far more Bull Dogs in attendance as it was a sea of red throughout the stadium. Nice place, great experience watching the Dogs win!

  • K Neal

It was actually open... My son and I were able to go onto the field and take a few pictures, and this will most likely be the school he chooses to go to because of the campus, and that experience.

  • Jacqueline Garcia

The stadium was AMAZING it was so pretty and nice and we went their to go and watch my favorite soccer team play it was amazing!! I hope you guys too get to go there because it's was amazing!

  • Nick Grivas

It’s a nice place for an Atlanta United soccer game, they should really think about having a few more games here. It’s also more recently a quality spot for a graduation ceremony.

  • Jerroyl Nash

The feeling when you walk out onto the grass stadium awe inspiring! It gives you chills!!!! And once again, it's one of the few grass stadiums in college football!

  • Susan Henesy

Great place, historical. New requirements for bags into stadium this year. Google Ga Tech Stadium for new regulations.Great experience. Shuttle service on campus.

  • Daniel Fogal

friendly staff, great view of the game no matter where I've sat - reasonable prices on concessions, incredible view of downtown, especially for night games. A+

  • Darrell Hareford

  • Alex Flores

First visit to Grant Field for Band Preview day. Was excited to watch the band and see where my season ticket seats are. Excited for Tech football.

  • Mark Blackston

Nice place to watch a college football game. For $25, had to park on the other side of campus - but they provide a shuttle to the stadium and back.

  • Chris Salzer

Best view of any stadium in the country at night overlooking the majestic ATL skyline. Historic and intimate setting for great football action!

  • Lila Baniya

We were there on 18th Dec 2021 for Commencement Programme of GT but at the end due to heavy rain we feel despondent as it does not have roof

  • Shane Hitechew

The best stadium in College Football. A lot of history, as well as an amazing view of the Atlanta skyline, especially during night games!

  • Mark Storch

Enjoyable games. Limited selection of food and drink vendors. Not particularly clean but very organized with friendly staff and security.

  • P James

Fun experience at Georgia Tech game. One of my young frat brothers is on team and came by to throw up the "hooks." Hey Ques!

  • Randy G

Had a great time. Did help that we as the visiting team won. Fun to tailgate in your motel room then walk down to the game.

  • Ronald Shelly

I think when they have any event they should have the concession stand more bathrooms able to go TO, Is a nice Stadium

  • Steven Honea

Great place to see a game every other year. The home team really goes out of the way to make space for visiting fans.

  • Jamie Brown

You should rename it the Vince Dooly Stadium..Thank you for hosting the University of Georgia! #Godawgs.

  • Rik Roberts (Fatlighter Woodcraft)

Great fun watching my Yellow Jackets. Concessions could be better, especially on visitor side of stands.
