Went twice over the last two weeks for family celebrations. The first time, as a group of five adults and two children and the second time was just my mom and I with my two kids. Both times, we felt as if we were an annoyance to our server as she wasn't friendly or welcoming at all. It was a damper on our first family gathering- we were celebrating the first anniversary of my son's life saving bone marrow transplant and it was our first family restaurant gathering in more than two years. We had really been hoping for an uplifting, great family meal but instead felt like a bother asking for mustard for my husband's burger, and refills on our drinks. We went again this past week to celebrate the first week of school, and had the same server- I'm sorry to say the service was even worse. She brought us our drinks then pulled a handful of straws out of her apron pocket, all of them flattened and bent as if they'd been sitting in her pocket the whole shift. Gross. While she was at the table taking our orders, my son accidentally spilled a small amount of his cotton candy drink on the table, causing my mom and I to fumble quickly unwrapping cutlery to use the napkins to clean up the spill. Our server, a witness to the whole thing, never offered to grab a rag, take the wet napkins, or replace the napkins which we were now out of. After another server brought us our food, and our main server never once returned to check on our food, refill the drinks (we had moved the cups to the edge of the table so she would see they were empty on her way by) or take the wet napkins that were still sitting on our table from our drink clean-up. When she finally did arrive to ask what the kids wanted for their dessert, there was no offer to refill our drinks or to even take the empty cups. It wasn't busy at all. Only 1/3 of the tables in the restaurant were full, IF that, and I had seen a lot of our server talking to the other tables she was looking after. I was very hesitant to tip out of principle, as this had now been two experiences with the same server that was really sub-par, but in this day and age of heavy inflation, I didn't want to mess with someone's income that they rely on to pay their bills. But tip or not, we were very unhappy and left both times feeling less happy than we were when we arrived. We love Boston Pizza, especially the kids, and will likely be back regardless, because the food is always great (This is why I gave three stars instead of one.) I just hope next time we are greeted by a more welcoming and helpful server.

We went today for a late lunch just before 3:00. The hostess greeted us and took us to our table. It wasn’t busy inside, maybe 6 tables total with two male servers on shift. It took 20 minutes of us still not being greeted by a server (when they had walked by us multiple times) so I walked up and talked to the female manager on duty. She was very shocked that we had not been seen and asked our drink order. We ordered 2 adult pops and a kids pop. Our server David M came 3 minutes later with only the adult drinks. He apologized as well for the delay, and was nice. Brought the other drink a few minutes later. We ordered right away- a thick crust medium pizza and a spinach dip. It took another 25 minutes of waiting to get our food and the pizza was not thick crust. It for sure wasn’t a communication error as he has repeated thick crust to us after we ordered. We had asked for a box and a bill right away as we had other things we needed to do. And didn’t expect to be there over an hour at dead hour on a Sunday. It took us being halfway done our meal to get the bill. There was absolutely no compensation on the bill for the delay. Having been a server for the past 5 years, I find that a little ridiculous. Especially after having to get up and find/ talk to the manager. The only positive was the food was really good!! Will probably order for takeout next time but the service is ridiculous. You know it’s bad when a server tips $5.00 on $50.00. Just enough to cover tip out ‍♀️

Imagine a place where pizza dreams go to die, a culinary carnival of chaos that dares to call itself "Boston Pizza." My recent adventure into this pizza purgatory was an experience I'll never forget, for all the wrong reasons. Upon entering the establishment, I couldn't help but notice the decor, which can only be described as an identity crisis. Is it trying to be a sports bar, a family restaurant, or a shrine to overcooked mozzarella? I felt like I'd been transported to a parallel universe where neon signs, sports memorabilia, and faux wood panels were considered a harmonious combination. Now, let's discuss the service. It was as if the servers were auditioning for a slapstick comedy show. I half-expected them to break into a pie-flipping dance routine, but alas, that level of entertainment never materialized. My order was a mystery wrapped in an enigma, and getting someone's attention was like trying to flag down a unicorn. The menu was a labyrinth of culinary confusion. I opted for the "Veggie Delight" pizza, which turned out to be a cruel joke. The "veggies" were so sparse that I'd need a magnifying glass to spot them. The cheese appeared to have been applied by a mad cheese scientist with a grudge against dairy. As for the tomato sauce, it had the depth and complexity of a ketchup packet.

We ordered take out tonight. Kids' meals were good and enjoyed by them. My gluten-free with vegan cheese pizza was missing chicken. I called to let them know and the person who answered offered to drop off a replacement. I was pleasantly surprised and thought "wow amazing customer service." I even told her I didn't want to trouble them. I was mainly expecting an apology and had no idea they would offer a replacement because I've never had an issue with a take out order. But then the person who I initially confirmed my order with when I placed my order, comes on to tell me she had asked the kitchen manager to make my order, and he says "100% there was chicken on the pizza" and that she'll send a replacement but wants the original back to show kitchen staff. They completely lost all the goodwill with those comments. I don't care what the kitchen manager said. Pretty sure he was tired and had tons of orders on the go judging by how full the patio was. Not to mention, I have eyes and taste buds. To make it seem as though I was lying was in really poor taste. I shouldn't have to prove they made a mistake and be put in a he said/she said situation. I highly recommend extra training for staff to deal with situations like these. They're not doing the restaurant any favours with that attitude.

Went to Boston pizza with a friend and unfortunately had such an irritating experience because the girl that was serving us kept asking if everything was okay literally 5 times every 15 minutes. I know she’s just checking in but it was distracting, annoying and unnecessary to pause conversation and answer to her every 5 minutes. I would be in the middle of a bite or conversing about something important and she would pop by way too many times to ask the same question. It was aggravating for my friend and I who felt the same as I did about her coming way too often. It’s not like she was polite or was providing outstanding service, she was just being a nuisance with the most unfriendly tone. Everyone else at Boston pizza was great and I love coming here, but it sucks we had a server who couldn’t pick up on the fact that we didn’t need her to come speak to us to ask the same question every 5 minutes. I wish I was exaggerating. That’s all I remember from my time here now. Not the food. Not the conversation. All I remember is the annoying server. Not sure if I’ll be returning to this location unfortunately.

We went for mother's day celebration to this restaurant. The manager spoiled the whole environment. We reached at 11:15pm and the closing time was 1am. The manager received us at the front and rudely said why we are coming late. She asked if we are aware that the restaurant closes in an hour. We confirmed that it was open till 1am and she said yes. However, at 1230am she came back to our table just before we were to cut cake, and said we need to leave as they have to clean the table and dishes. She kept coming back to the table, trying to get us to leave. She didn't want us to cut the cake to celebrate the day. When we were leaving she screamed "get the dishes" making sure we hear it too. It was ridiculous and completely bitter experience for us. The server on the other hand was extremely courteous. This was a horrible experience for entire family because of the manager in charge. And it makes us wonder if the manager is difficult person in general or is racist. We won't be returning to this restaurant again! And we hope others also read this review before thinking of going there.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious. They have kids menus which are also activity books for kids with word searches, crosswords, tic tac toe, and more. They have tvs all around playing sports. There's also a nice patio outside during nice weather. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The restaurant is very clean and in good repair. The staff are very pleasant and the wait time for a table and for food and drinks is very minimal. There are lots of booths which is great if you have kids with you.

My husband and I, went to BP Barrhaven last night to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant. Everyone were absolutely amazing...from the hostess as we walked in, to our wonderful waitress Karen B., to the Manager Cath. We had the pleasure to chit-chat with the owner Russ who made us feel special and welcomed...what a wonderful men. We were seated at the back of the restaurant where it was nice & quiet, which was much appreciated for the occasion. The food was amazing as usual and the service was impeccable. Our waitress Karen was very attentive, caring and made us laugh. We even received nice little perks and lots of attentions from everyone. We had not been eating inside a restaurant since the beginning of the pandemic but we felt at ease with all the Covid precautions taken by the owner and the staff. Thank you very much to everyone for all your efforts in ensuring that our special night was absolutely perfect and memorable...you guys are the best! :-)

Made reservations for 4 adults and 2 kids on a Saturday morning for our guys yearly birthday luncheon. We noticed a few other kids parties going on at the same time, so they were already busy. We were kindly greeted and seated at a table when Jordan - our server, showed up to welcome us and take drink orders from us. We had drinks, a couple apps and 6 meals - 2 with desserts and we all agreed - it was just a perfectly wonderful experience. The timing of the food was perfect (even though we were told the food may take a bit longer due to several parties going on). The quality and temperature of the food was perfect. We have some picky eaters and the cooks made necessary adjustments with no issues. All in all, we had very kind, efficient and friendly servers along with talented cooks who provided amazing hot food that we all enjoyed - and took home left overs as well. Thanks so much to all the staff (servers to cooks) at Boston Pizza in Nepean for making our Birthday celebration a memorable one!!!

I placed an order through Door Dash on May 5, 2021. I ordered the regular spaghetti with meatballs baked with cheese, with an extra side order of beefy Bolinas sauce, the brownie blast and an order of fried salt and pepper wings with honey garlic dip on the side and an extra honey garlic dip. I ordered the brownie with chocolate and caramel sauce, but I didn't want the carmel sauce, only the chocolate sauce. I did not get ANY sauce with my brownies! I also ordered and paid for an extra side of beefy bolonais sauce with my order, as I know that BP doesn't put enough sauce on their spaghetti. Needless to say but I didn't receive the extra meat sauce either. I'm not very happy that I paid for food that I did not receive (to a tune of $63.00 including the delivery), and have pictures of my order to prove it. This wasn't what I needed after working 12 hours in Emergency at the Queensway Carleton Hospital today. Extremely disappointed in the quality assurance and service at Boston Pizza in Barrhaven!

A Barrhaven staple. I’ll come here if Greenfields is closed which is next to never. I went last night thinking I’d get fresher food than what comes to me from Uber eats but it was literally the same. Got the spinach and artichoke dip and the dip was watery which was super unusual but we were looking forward to the mains. Ordered a plate of fettuccine with bolognese sauce, shrimp and sausages and man let me tell you it was MID and my fiancés pasta she didn’t even finish it we boxed it up and gave it off to the next guy. I didn’t even take a picture of my plate!! That’s super rare. The bar side is usually pretty active and that’s cool so if there’s a game i want to catch i can pop up there and catch a vibe.

I went yesterday and I really enjoyed the food (I really like how they’re adding halal options!). The spaghetti was basic (unless you added Alfredo which tasted SO good!). The BBQ chicken nachos were amazing! However, I didn’t like that I wasn’t allowed to order kid meals (it was only for kids under 10). I feel like it’s unfair because people who order take out get to order kid meals and also last year they had no problem with it (at the Mississauga branch). I didn’t like this because I shouldn’t have to be restricted for portions that I want to control (it’s my food at the end of the day and I’m going to end up paying for it anyway). Other than that, the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent, the food came quick and it was cooked very well.

Been to this location many times. Apparently hadn’t left a review yet, whoops! Tried the slushie vodka drink, it was pretty good, their mojitos are better though. 100% *** I normally get their mojitos. The seasonal ones are lovely! Got a cheese baked GF pasta dish with onion, bacon and spinach in bolognese sauce. Way too much food, great reheated in the oven. They are great with my allergies and celiac. Always careful to make sure my food is gluten free and not in contact with any poultry (anaphylactic allergy). Also not many people, so I could sit with my daughter without worrying incessantly about Covid-19. Lots of hand wipes, sanitizer and very clean.

Great place to grab a bite and a beer in Barrhaven. Prices are inside the market value for a local bar and restaurant. The staff here is exceptionally friendly. Un-rushed, personal service from all the servers. Its refreshing to find this in a franchise. New food menu items are delicious. I wouldn't come here specifically for the pizza. Beer selection is good. The sports bar is completely separate from the dining room to avoid drunken spillage of drinks and drunks. In the summer time you can even go out to the patio and get a gentle misting of cold water while gulping away at your sweating schooner of golden nectar of the Gods.

It's right around the corner so we visit here a lot. Our favourite is the bandera bread but we love popping in for a sweet cheese cake. The service is almost always great, sometimes exceptional. We recently ordered bandera bread and it came to us dry and over-cooked. The server knew it and was and was quick to respond that it didn't look right. She returned it but the second one came back the same and she didn't even put it on the table, her face said it all. It was really disappointing but the server was so apologetic and they were super busy so we were forgiving. The next time we went it was on-target again!! Very good food.

This evening we felt like having a treat that everyone in the house loves, pizza. We places a pickup order and everything was ready for us the moment we showed up, hot and fresh. The pizza was amazing, crispy crust, sweet sauce, heaps of meat topping and mozza cheese. I will have to get my fat pants on after I am done eating. Add on that the 7 cheese ravioli with a fresh caeser and this night is set as well as leftovers for tomorrow. Really though great food, we couldn't have asked for more. Thanks guys for the fantastic food and the prompt friendly service and as such you most certainly will be seeing us again soon.

The place isn't that good. I expected better. The fries are so cold. The staff needs to alert us about putting pork/bacon in the salads, please do so. The fancy pizzas are garbage and expensive, I'd rather just go get a cheap pizza from somewhere else. The chicken wings are okay, but other than that, this place isn't a pizza place at all, horrible..... This used to be good but now it's complete trash.

First, we were asked to wait for 10 minutes because we were told they were backed up. The restaurant was 4/5 empty. It was 1:30 on a Saturday. Once we had our table, there were peoples kids jumping and climbing on tables and benches like it was a jungle gym. The food was terrible. We attended the children’s New Year’s party. Staff were warm and welcoming. Fast, friendly, and attentive. Our waitress Kirby was smiley and quick. Kids activities were given and kids invited to walk around and gather together when the “countdown” for new years happened at noon. The general manager rounded them up and took the lead allowing the parents to take a step back for a few minutes. Very impressive, Very fun, and impressive. The food was great too. Clean washrooms. Great family spot. Will return when in the area again.

Newly diagnosed celiac disease and the staff made me feel so safe!! Very knowledgeable, Taylar took the time to explain what i could and couldn’t have and a manager brought me my food to put me more at ease. The choice of food is great too. It tasted fantastic and I was able to enjoy my evening!!

We had a wonderful experience at Boston Pizza. After a long day of shopping, my wife and I decided to have dinner at this restaurant. It turned out to de a great decision. The waitress, Sarah, was such a great person. Friendly, smiling and engaging. She also provided fast and professional services. The food was tasty, warm and plenty, as well as being raisonably priced. I also appriated the sign indicating the table had be sanitized. I have no issues recommending this place.

Went today with my wife for dinner and a drink, we kept waiting for more than half an hour for anybody from the staff to take our order , but no luck! I don’t know why he didn’t like us!!!!

My daughter (4 yrs) and I had dinner at Boston Pizza – 1681 Greenbank Rd, Nepean and we both had food poisoning. Though we had two different dishes, my daughter had diarrhea and I had nausea and committing. That means that it’s not an abnormality but it’s probably the norm at this place. I called them to complain. They said that they will call me back…nothing happened. For your health, please avoid this place. I will be reporting it. Thanks

I so much love the variety of food offered with not really any bad choice. Pizza are a must but pasta are under estimated. Service is good and atmosphere is good. Sadly, the outside patio gives on a busy street which makes is noisy and not very pleasant, but there is not much they can do about that.

This Boston pizza was very careful with mine and my sons food, which is very important when having allergies.

We ordered a Mediterranean pizza and a Spaghetti with breaded chicken, as well as two kid's menus. The service was quick and the waitress was very responsive and kind. However, the spaghetti tasted no good, and the water glasses were dirty with traces of barbecue sauce or something dirty on them. That changed my opinion of the place, which at first glance seemed to me very clean and very well maintained.

Went to Boston Pizza for drinks and apps on the patio. It was nice that part of the patio is covered so we were able to still enjoy the rest of our night when it started raining. It did seem like they were a bit understaffed as we didn’t get served for about 20mins. Drinks and food were standard, nothing too special to write home about. Overall a good place to chill and hang out on a summer day.

We go at lunch randomly with work people. Pizza is always fresh and hot. They have a halal menu, and veggie options for our diverse group. The service is always great, this location seems to have something special, it's better than the other two I've tried in town.

Very disappointed, we booked months ago for the princess lunch. I understand they didn't know that canada would be playing in fifa but we have 3 girls dressed up very excited to see and meet the princess. They comped the meal of 1 kid per bill and then charged for the dessert that's suppose to come with. Seriously not cool!

Seated quickly by friendly staff who got us menus and took our drink order. The food arrived hot and tasty, portion sized just right. A very clean and tidy place, just the way you want it. After our meal was delivered service was a bit slower but then the restaurant was crawling with kiddos so they were clearly busy. A pleasant meal out.

Took the kids there today and got served by Ninuca. Her service was amazing, and she was very friendly with and nice to the kids. I also got a chance to chat with the manager (Russ) who was also nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place for family outings: Kids friendly, good food, and great service. A nice variety on the kids menu. Heads up - the sausage on the pizza has some kick. My kids made me pull it all off.

Believe me when I say I would much rather eat toilet paper than ever come back here. In my opinion this was one of the worst foods I’ve had in my life. The pizza tasted incredibly lacklustre and the fries tasted terrible. I will never ever set foot in this place again in my life. I can’t believe what I just experienced.

Stopped for dinner and drinks while visiting friends in the area and had a great time. Staff was very friendly, lots of menu options including a variety of drink option and the food was very good! Would recommend the peach Bellini fish bowl

Bar area was very dirty and had a bad smell to it. The bar surface had spills on it and was sticky until it was wiped down by staff. Whole bar area had a stale smell to it. We left without ordering.

I have been to this place many times and tried few best dishes And I can finally say their Nachos met my expectations, as a poutine lover it was a bit of disappointment however they gladly made it for me. Their pizza is delicious as you would think (BostonPIZZA) along with great staff Would recommend this place

The food did take a while and my frys were burnt, and my burger wasn't very flavourful. But our service was perfect and they were very nice and kind. It wasn't very busy at all.

This franchise is amazing. It's really well run. The people are top notch. Great place to bring kids. But man, the menu is just not as good as it used to be. I think they only have one burger now. Nachos get a miniscule amount of ground beef. Really like the place. Just wish we could bring food in.

I went here with some friends, and the waiters and manger(Tessa) were the nicest people ever. I ordered the Caesar salad and forgot abt the fact that it has bacon(so she went a made me a little bowl of Caesar salad without bacon) out of the kindness of her own heart. W environment W food W people

At the unicorn lunch I was amazed at how enthusiastic the staff and managers were. Everyone dressed up, I overheard one little patron tell the manager that it was "the best unicorn party ever!" I can't wait to face paint at the next few themed lunches, Mermaids. and Superheros

A decent atmosphere but their pizzas are on the high end for prices and not really deserving of that premium price. There are plenty of other pizza places with as good, or better quality for cheaper. Really, the only reason I go is for their jambalaya which is excellent.
