Honestly I love this place because it rips. I’ve been nursing/neglecting/abusing my old French bike for at least a decade now, and while it’s a modest machine, the staff here @ boulevard has taken great care of it when needed. They found an old French thread fork for me when mine got bent, and then recently replaced the bottom bracket and cranks. They intuitively understand what other little adjustments would be beneficial to my riding style, and affordably sort it out. 10/10 will continue to return as necessary! I usually like to repair my own stuff in life, but this is a case where I have found responsible, timely, engaged professionals who I completely trust. And to top it all off, the prices have always been extra reasonable! Not my primary concern, but a nice addition!

The BEST bike shop in Logan/ Avondale!! I brought my bike and it’s breaking issue to 2 other bike shops in the area prior to coming here. The first place told me they didn’t know how to fix it and charged me $20 for pumping air in my tires and tightening the break. The second bike shop told me they could fix it but they would have to keep my bike for over a week. Boulevard Bikes filled my tires, tightened and lubricated the break free of charge and told me that I could come back in the morning and they would have it fixed the SAME day by end of day! I was given a very reasonable estimate for the fix. I was seen right away and treated with care and kindness. Don’t bring your bike anywhere else and bring CASH to tip the workers who often do quick fixes free of charge.

Was really wowed by the customer service at Boulevard Bikes yesterday. I came in looking for a new saddle after my old one jangled loose & fell off while I was riding (that sucked). The owner showed me a variety of saddles to choose from, all very affordably priced, giving some recommendations based on the modified structure of my bike. He also tightened up my brakes a bit, oiled the chain, and other nice stuff to keep things in working order. Totally happy with my experience & will visit again when I need something. Also, one note: they are doing a strict one at a time rule at the shop, so expect to spend a little bit of time in line waiting to come in. Appreciated this extra safety in pandemic times.

I had never been to this bike shop before, but by the suggestion of my friend I went in on Sunday looking for a new bike. The owner (Kevin) was really awesome and really patient with me while I was asking questions about bikes and while my friend was grabbing a few things. I told Kevin my budget and he suggested a great bike that was on sale. They built it for me and I picked it up today. Again, he was really great adjusting the seat and making sure it fit me well, as well as explaining a few things about the bike I was unfamiliar with. I am very pleased with my experience. I never write reviews but I felt it was necessary for this experience because it was so great.

Amazing staff! I have interacted with multiple employees among my visits and have always left smiling! They are all very knowledgeable, honest, and interesting! I sold my old bike to them over a year ago and felt I got a very fair price for it. Since then they have taken care of my new bike for bi-annual tune ups and general care. I never feel like they are trying to up-sell me or rip me off, and the pricing always feels reasonable, especially for such reliable service! They remember my bike and always have a complement or something fun to say about it. I couldn’t ask for anything more in my local bike shop.

Best bike shop in Logan square in my opinion not only are they open early but I came in after a got a flat on my way to work and I told the mechanic if he can take care of it asap since I was gonna be late to work mind you he already had a project going on I told him my situation and he said he would get on it right away, not a lot of places would do something that nice for someone 5 stars great service and kindness

If you’re busy that’s fine I understand news flash sir there a hold button on your phone I would’ve been happy to wait for u guys. That was extremely unprofessional to click on a customer because u can’t figure out how to put someone on hold also asking if they make one-bolt zero setback seatpost is a simple question my good man.

I really like this place. Been seeing them since they were actually by the boulevard! Staff are always really friendly and super patient with all my questions which are very often “noob” types of things. I haven’t bought any bikes but accessories and repairs are very fairly priced. (Also they are usually listening to good music)

Great local shop right on the Logan Square Milwaukee Ave commuting path. Stopped in after a bit of bike sabotage and these guys helped me in a pinch. Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it. Solid business with a helpful staff. Great service and everything you need to keep the rubber side down.

I got my sweet little Bianchi here right before the shutdown and I love it!! I bring my bike back about twice a year for a tune up and clean and they do great work! Just got her back yesterday after I dropped her off on Tuesday and she rides like new. Quick turn around time and knowledgeable staff.

Have been here more than 5 times! Gentlemen are very friendly and professional workers! Love the atmosphere and the options of parts and bikes! They have a pump outdoors for free use! Waiting chairs and very welcoming environment! Highly recommend all seasonal bike shop in Logan Square!!!

These guys work well, I've been several times with my bicycle, I do not have much knowledge in English of the words that have to do with bicycles, but they definitely have the patience to understand what I want, the staff is very good vibes, thanks for having a day my bicycle.

If you ride a bike in the city you need a good bike shop. Boulevard bikes do a good job on repairs and their pretty fast. You can find cheaper places in the city but you'd have to get your bike all the way to them. I'll pay a little extra to get my bike fixed close to home.

Just had a tune up and handle bar adjustment done, and my bike is better than ever. Always helpful and considerate even when I’m asking lots of questions and need things explained to my non-mechanical mind. Have been going here for years and couldn’t recommend more highly.

wonderful experience, very polite and professional bike mechanics, great quality perfect fitting parts and reasonable prices, they even let me use thier sink to wash my hands and their wrench after I replaced my own tire and inner tube I bought! ☺️ …

Good guys and knowledgeable. A little expensive, but they fixed 3 different bikes of mine there and got accessories whenever I needed any.
