The location of the store is quite unconventional and unfortunately, the staff members are not particularly friendly. The overall atmosphere of the store gives off a sense of indifference, as if customers are expected to purchase their items quickly or leave. Unfortunately, I encountered rude behavior during my visit.

Very rude and pretentious staff. If you ask a customer if they need help, don’t belittle them for looking for a wine at the lower price point. The woman did not even acknowledge my friendly “have a good night” after I did not take her up on her $50 bottle suggestion. Help customers with what they’re looking for.

This is the first wine and spirit shop we went to when we moved to the city and it was very fortuitous because it’s by far our favorite in New York so far. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and always steers us in the right direction. Don’t miss it!
