Been to Bradford's a few times. My wife and went today around noon to order a omelette and a chicken fried steak breakfast to go. The chicken fried steak was hard as a rock. I got stale toast and a very small portion of hash browns. Could not eat it. The service was not good. We felt like it was a bother to take our order. My wife ordered a drink and the bartender left it on the bar for 5 minutes. We finally asked if that was our drink and was told yup. She could not even bother to bring it to our table. I also won some money on video poker. When I went to cash it in I had to wait while she finished talking to a regular that she knew. It was like I wasnt even there. We were there for a total of 25 minutes and spent 35$ on food and a drink. We will be not be going to Bradford's again. 14$ for a chicken fried steak that I had to cut up with a steak knife? It was like stale jerky with gravy on it.

I'm confused and alarmed to hear you've banned Hip hip and r&b from the bar. If you banned explicit content and or specific content that would be one thing. But to specifically ban the genres that represent black culture.... is blatantly racist and unacceptable. I've loved this bar and its staff especially Kayla and Izan. They Can tell that I've not only been respectful without problems but I also tip well. I will NOT return until I get an explanation. Are you subliminally excluding blacks from your bar?

I’ve gone here sporadically for the past year and every single time I’ve been met with over the top customer service from genuine people behind the bar. One time I came in upset after a horrible day at work and the bartender bought me a shot for my troubles. I wasn’t even a regular! we had never met but she over heard my bad phone call and wanted to make me feel welcome. Every time after that, every one talks to me like I’ve been there for years, very comfortable, make good conversation and the salads are GREAT! Highly recommend ✨

There's definitely a correlation between the personal comfort of a dive bar, versus how seedy it actually is. Except not in Bradford's case, as it actually falls very, very low beneath that threshold. Very rude customer service, lots of drama, racism, and negativity from the owner and other workers, and far too much drama for a place most people go to blow off steam. I'm very curious how this place hopes to make revenue, considering it can't be through keeping people coming back for more.

It's a great little bar I like the darker feel and the atmosphere in there would be great... But I had the rudest and seriously obnoxious server in recent memory. Honestly it would take up so much space to explain just how rude she was for no apparent reason other than I only tipped her $9 the night before and that wasn't enough. But I sure felt like at the time even it was $9 more than I should have given her cuz she was rude then too.

Always a great spot. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced, the drinks are poured well and also very reasonably priced, servers have always been excellent, atmosphere is what one wants out of a sports/poker bar... overall absolutely 5 stars. Clean. Tables, bar stools. Street parking only, im pretty sure. Lots of TVs. Poker machines. Drink specials. Portland sports Blazers vibe. Ive gone a few times now, and will definitely continue. Came here and got exactly what we needed; Beer & a Burger. We both went for the Bradford Burger and man was it large! The place was fairly quiet around lunch so we got to talk with the waitress who was very nice. The beers came quick too and she was quick to get us our 2nd and 3rd pint. Decor is nice with random internet images randomly shuffled on two monitors. It gave us something to watch while waiting on food. Overall nice little dive bar.

Ordered here from UberEats, never again. I paid 14 dollars for a small cup of lobster mac n cheese, ordered my kids chicken strips with fries. Got 3 pieces of chicken that were the size of a thumb. Husband got a top sirloin steak rare but the thing might as well had been alive. Paid 60$ for nothing. DO NOT EAT FROM HERE! I hope Uber removes them from their list. Awful food.

This place is a S&#T hole and a half. If you like hanging around drug dealer's than this is your bar millie the owner is a POS the bartenders are short tempered and RUDE and they serve COLD wack ass food if i could give them zero stars i would i have witnessed them treating white customers better then another especially black customers it's a disgusting place to be honest

A client took me to Bradford’s for lunch, and now it’s one of my favorite places. You have to try the Bradford burger – truly outstanding. The outer eastside needs more good food, and Bradford’s fits the bill. The restaurant/bar is clean and comfortable – no dive bar here. It’s worth a special trip to watch NFL games on Sunday with the brunch buffet @ $6.50.

I love it I know people have a sort of eye for what they are looking for when they go out this is mine, variety of faces of all origins, bartender that keeps there cool when things get hot, pool tables spaced out for the elbow room needed, couches and dim lights to create a wonderful atmosphere I love this place and hope they do very well in the future

We went for Tuesday tacos and a game of pool. Tacos are decent and you get 3 for 2.50. My drink was strong!. Overall the place is clean and the bartender is friendly. We will be back! It is bigger than it looks from the outside. They have some arcade games where family can hang out and the opposite end they have the slot machines. Lots of tv's.

Friendly staff, but this place is a little rough around the edges. It's worth noting that they have a large screen TV near the bar that displays a slideshow featuring photos and images of cartoons and memes. Some of the jokes are racist and misogynist. It's pretty clear where the owner/GM stand politically as there was a lot of one-sided humor.

Manager (or who ever she was) was extremely rude from the minute I walked in the door. You would think she would see me as someone that has never been there and that means if I had a good experience that I would recommend more people to go there. Needless to say I will not be back and will definitely tell people to stay away. Very rude!!!!

A "top shelf dive bar", with plenty of free parking, reasonably priced (stiff) drinks, quite a few brews on tap, friendly bartenders, and excellent food. DJs are playing (and will take requests -don't forget to tip) with videos and a rare dancefloor and lights on the weekend and even sometimes during the week.

Great food, mostly garbage patrons. Hardcore biased karaoke list armed by a sign that says no hip hop allowed. KJ literally has a list banning Rihanna, Beyonce and most black artists. I couldn't nope harder out of that institution if Richard Spencer himself was holding an ALM rally. Not one inch Bradfords.

I really enjoyed the bartender. She was good conversation and effectively completing her duties, tending the place by herself. Pretty spacious place. Lottery machines surprisingly weren't all taken up like most places i go. I got a great martini which is always hit or miss.

Horrible service! I will never go here again. I went in for a few drinks and a basketball game. Worst bar tender in Portland. It took 20 minutes to get a beer with only 3 people sitting at the bar. The guy working in the kitchen was clearly on meth, and dirty.

Since moving to this neighborhood 3 years ago, Bradford’s has become one of our regular bars. It’s a totally underrated sports bar with an indoor fire pit, excellent burgers, and oyster shooters! Feels like your grandpa’s basement plus 80s hip hop.

Found the place full of friendly people and a great server, but greatly offended by the constant display of bigoted, racist, sexist photos and sayings. Needs to clean up their "public relations" display. WILL NOT GO BACK, nor will my friends.

Cozy place with fire feature and great food made in house!! Daily specials. Awesome bartenders. Lots of games including pool, pin ball and pop a shot. Perfect place for small to medium gatherings. Offers catering for events.

It was actually a really nice place, it was my 1st time there. Love that they had Blue Moon on Tap. Wish they had Karaoke though, that would have been amazing. Loved that they had a billiards room. Bartender was great.

Literally the worst service. My friend was waiting in line and the bartender helped the other 2 customers that cut in line. Service is super slow, and unless the bartender knows you, good luck getting a drink.

Cool dive bar. Good food..I have only been on the weekends. There is a video poker section that seems pretty popular and I think they have a breakfast buffet that's good.

Great video poker stations, well spaced apart, comfortable seats for gaming. Attentive waiters, spacious sports viewing area, great conversation and decent people.

The management is racist and does not cater to the growing non-white community in Portland. They banned all hip hop and RnB music. Gross stain in our community.

Live Sunday night music jams are wonderful! Wait staff are busy so sometimes you need to go to the bar to get served. Their helpfulness makes up for it all!

Typical neighborhood pub. The fish in the fish and chips was fresh and thick, cooked well but a little greasy. Service was not real attentive, but friendly.
